If he wants Brooke around so he can oogle her, maybe he should divorce Donna and move Brooke in with him. Brooke just can’t take no for an answer from Ridge. Give up the begging and go with someone who really wants you. Nick is right there for the picking and he’s definitely not as shabby as Ridge. Those slacks that Brooke is wearing are not doing her body any favors, either. They make her old lady tummy and old lady butt really look humongous.

Brooke still hasn’t realised why Ridge left her!!! He left and broke up with her over her supporting Hope in the coup!!!! She betrayed him at the deepest level!!! The CO was just icing! He was already done with her before that! It just cemented to him how she puts herself before him, she always has! It’s always been Brooke’s way or bugger off!
I am shaking my head at a woman who claims to love Ridge is disrespecting him 24/7!! She clearly doesn’t care how he feels or what he wants! It’s all about Brooke, as usual. Eric is the biggest philanderer out there and he is advising Ridge??? Seriously???
Ridge hasn’t fallen for any of Brooke’s schemes yet. I’m proud of him for standing his ground. He’s always caved to Brooke and Eric in the past and regretted it!
Eric needs to stop and mind his own bloody business for a change! Does really think his 60 yr old son needs him to run his life for him??

I really hope we don't get a repeat of that ridiculous keyhole moment in Rome but instead, Ridge comes to realize that while Brooke will always have a special place in his heart, he is better off without her.
Ridge seems to be disgusted at the fact that his father can dismiss Taylor and his relationship with her so easily. Maybe he is seeing the same disgusting, selfish behavior in Brooke.

DeleteWhen it comes to Ridge - both women will fight to the death to be with him. We’ve seen it play out 100 times.
With regard to Brooke, she feels that the only reason Ridge left her is because of a misunderstanding. And she is convinced Ridge truly wants to be with her and doesn’t really love Taylor. And those two things (according to the braindead writers) are making Brooke make a fool out of herself in front of Ridge (and the viewers) 1,000 times! The whole thing is nauseating!!
The fact that there has been no wedding date set for Ridge and Taylor, and they are still living at Eric’s & Donna’s as if they were teenagers….is very telling!
Naples is where it’s gonna happen! Ridge is going to find another keyhole moment and go back to Brooke. Likely saving her in some water accident. And of course Brooke will gladly take him back! It will be so nice to have this absurd begging that Brooke has been doing for months - be over!!!
Taylor doesn't ever fight to the death for Ridge. Matter of fact, she never fights. She always walks (or runs) away. Ridge and Taylor are together now because he went to her. Same as last time when he flew all the way to Aspen. And if Bridge reunite next week, I'm pretty sure Taylor will once again walk away.
DeleteI won't bet money on them reuniting though. Ridge seems pretty steadfast and continues to acknowledge that he is in love with Taylor. Even if he comes to a point where he realizes that Brooke will always be in his heart, it doesn't mean that he will magically fall out of love with Taylor.
Taylor fights in her own way. She plays the victim. But Brooke confronts the situation head on. At least Brooke is honest. Taylor always plays the damsel in distress. Maybe that’s why I don’t like her. The original Taylor was never portrayed that way.
DeleteOh I definitely think Italy is where Ridge pledges his love for Brooke again. Time will tell. I’m expecting this to wrap up in the next week or two.
I liked when Eric yelled at Ridge….YES, LIFE IS SHORT!!! Not sure why that scene was so funny to me. But it definitely made me chuckle.
And yes, Taylor will walk away if they reunite, but only to appear in some future episode with another sob story to try to win Ridge back.
DeleteEverytime Ridge runs to Taylor it’s because he feels betrayed by Brooke. Every single time. Taylor is his solid rebound. I’ll give her that.
Lynn how can you say Brooke has changed for the better, or matured at what 64? She's still using manipulation tactics to get to Ridge, and has Eric pushing it even more. If she has to fight that hard, is it worth it? I thought at one point she had changed for the better, now I'm doubtful. 🤔 She truly is making a fool of herself. Eric as well. And to say it's always a misunderstanding why he turns to Taylor? Maybe she is solid and that's what he needs now at his age. But....guarantee we'll be going on the merry-go-round again.
DeleteAnd...Brooke is just as honest as Sheila. So I still say 95% of the time they maybe can be honest and truthful. It's the other 5% I say there is no change.
DeleteD - Brooke is a lot more than just her obsession with Ridge. She’s a loving mom, a wonderful sister, an important contributor to FC, etc.. She no longer sleeps around, and that alone counts as a huge change. Just because she’s still trying to win dumb-dumb back doesn’t mean she hasn’t changed. And I don’t see her as being manipulative. She’s actually very direct in her approach. Taylor is more the manipulative one in my eyes. Taylor is an opportunist. Brooke simply wears her heart on her sleeve and it’s constantly being said out loud. Of course I hate how ridiculous they are making her look. That’s why this whole thing is so ludicrous and would never ever happen in real life.

DeleteHow/When does Taylor play the victim? Are you talking about her BHS? That was a real diagnosis. It wasn't a trick. It wasn't a play to get Ridge back and it wasn't a manipulation. Even Steffy was upset that her mom wasn't going after Ridge more ferociously. Taylor had to keep reminding her that Ridge was with Brooke.

Based on Ridge stating over and over again that he is in love with Taylor, plus the fact that he has committed to wanting a life with her, I would be surprised if he actually leaves her for Brooke, especially since he has said that he doesn't want to hurt her again. I don't doubt he might come to some realizations about Brooke next week but it may not turn out as you think it will, Lynn.
Elle I was going to ask the same questions but getting tired. Taylor also is a loving Mom, not sure she has sisters, but Donna and Katie aren't the type I would boast about.

DeleteBusy day today, ladies. So I’ll keep it short. Yeah, Taylor is always the victim….IMO. And I’m sorry, I absolutely think that if her diagnosis was ever truly legit she would have never entered back into the lion’s den….Ridge. Clearly it wasn’t serious at all. That’s like a lung cancer victim taking back up smoking after they are done with their chemo treatments. Taylor is a total opportunist and victim as far as I’m concerned.

Whatever you say, Ridge was very much in love with Taylor and they had a very happy marriage .

Brooke lied and schemed and was deceitful to try to get Ridge.
She has no rights on him. I’m sick of hearing the villainisation of Taylor because she has a chance with the love of her life and father of her children.

BBFAN, honestly, I have no idea what you are talking about. I have never said or even thought that “Brooke owns Ridge”. That would be absurd. Personally, I would never desire or try to be with a man who didn’t want to be with me. But Brooke is convinced that Ridge does truly want her. This isn’t about her owning him like he’s some pet. She genuinely believes Ridge is just harboring deep resentment. And if he weren't, they would be together. And the truth is, he is.
DeleteI have admitted multiple times that Ridge truly loves Taylor. But something is about to happen on this trip - most likely Brooke falling into the ocean and Ridge saves her - as mentioned weeks ago on that spoiler I saw, which is supposedly going to make Ridge realize he can’t live without Brooke. This whole SL is incredibly nauseating for every single viewer. We are sooooooo over this ridiculous 3 way relationship that the writers have shoved down our throats for decades.
But again, I’ve never ever said that Brooke is entitled to or “owns” Ridge. That’s absurd.
Brooke has zero respect for Brooke. Come on Ridge man up and stay with Taylor.

ReplyDeleteFinn is going to crack the case! I can see him asking the nurse (can't remember her name) to bring Liam's initial scans with the brain bleed BUT there will be no sign of a mass. Finn to nurse: "are you sure these are the correct scans?" She will insist: "yes they are, Dr. Finnegan." Finn will then review Liam's medical chart to see what medications were administered to Liam and that's when... BAM! They won't be the regular type of medicine for Liam's condition at all!
I have to admit, Steffy saying thank you to Sheila and expressing her heartfelt gratitude gave me the feels. And I guess, this is the last we'll see of Steffy for a while.

Yet, Nick, Steffy, Carter, Sheila and Liam are all fine and continue to be on the show.
Also, didn't KKL leak a script recently about a future storyline due to air in September? Guess who appeared on that script?
Based on the previous "spoilers" you posted which did not happen, I would be careful about all the stuff being posted out there. They tend to be mostly click bait.

DeleteA lot of the storylines that are "spoiled" are either speculative or blatantly made up. It's hardly ever that the show changes the story. That's what I'm trying to tell you.
DeleteFor example, I recently read that Brad Bell did an interview with the Italian media about the Naples storyline. It was claimed that the person translated the interview and that Brad Bell said Ridge admits to loving Brooke and asks her to spend the rest of their lives together. Yet, no link was provided for that supposed Italian interview. The claim that Brad Bell said it makes it seem credible however, more than likely, it's fake. So, when the storyline doesn't turn out that way, people think the show or Brad Bell changed the story however, the spoiler was never true to begin with.
As for Taylor, the character is not leaving for good based on several reasons. Depending on what happens in Naples, she might temporarily leave with Steffy, as you suggested but, she will be back.
As I said before, just be careful with what is being said. Official spoilers are posted on few sites, which usually get teasers from the show directly. Other sites then take those teasers and create scenarios about what is going to supposedly happen but are not actually true.
Elle, we tried telling her numerous times that those are fan fiction ideas. The site she depends on literally makes predictions and when the episode comes on they are way off base!

DeleteI think this huge Sheila forgiveness happenings by both Steffy & Finn are just a tactic for what will be next. Discussion here this week said Li will ask Sheila to help her hide and nurture Luna's recovery in a secret location and Luna is not gone but secretly swept away by Li just like she had Finn hidden and had Sheila helping her. This was said by Malin, taking no credit for that great observation of Sheila involvement of Finn being captive by his Dr. Mom. And for all to discover Li's secret with the Sheila accomplice helping Luna now and they will all despise Sheila again. Just so weird Steffy&Finn are so forgiving now. Yes, Sheila highly deserves some level of recognition but it seems to me a short lived thing if Li once again abducting now Luna theory is correct. Heck let's go to the beach house and bake Sheila a cake while the forgiveness is in the now! 😄 🍰 Things will happen to squash this redemption.

DeleteTaylor returned to the show with a serious heart condition and wanted to spend as much time as possible with her family. Why would she now have another heart condition and choose to leave?
