Gen, I totally agree about Brooke! I keep saying that Brooke is acting like she owns Ridge and noone else must have him. She is quite willing for Taylor to get her heart broken just so Ridge can return to her, even though Ridge was the one who walked away from Brooke! Rather than let Ridge pay for breaking her heart, she wants Taylor to pay instead. And if Ridge does go back to her, I am pretty sure Brooke would be all up in that mansion helping her to pack her bags while throwing it in her face that Ridge came back to her just as she knew he would.
This storyline is indeed disgusting and nothing like the others concerning the trio. Brooke and Eric have resorted to manipulations just to get Ridge back with Brooke and everyone seems to be enjoying walking into Eric's home just to rag on Taylor. Ridge won’t be persuaded by anyone. He already told Taylor that when she accused Eric of bias, which he clearly has. Ridge is an old man who has a mind of his own. BBFan, Brooke cooked up a plan of taking the CEO position to help the Forresters when Carter and Hope offered it to her without talking to Ridge about it first. She felt that it would make her look like she was on his side and he would come back to her. However, when she went over to Eric's to tell him, after the fact, she instead saw Taylor coming downstairs in Ridge's shirt and got upset with Ridge. Ridge had already left Brooke before the CEO plan was even a thought in Brooke's head. So, I'm not sure why they are building Ridge and Brooke's troubles around her taking the CEO position as a "misunderstanding" and the reason why they are no longer together.
How about Taylor’s negative comments about Brooke and how “nothing is going to make her take that ring off her finger”? It will come off when Ridge dumps her.

Team Taylor here. First why is Katie over at the Forrester mansion I know Donna lives there but I feel she came over just to upset Taylor. Second it's fine for Ridge to be with Brooke but he needs to come clean to Taylor and stop this bs going back and forth it's been decades! Taylor deserves a real man who wants and loves her and only her! Brooke also is a disappointment after how Ridge talked about Hope calling her a nasty little bitch and a slut after the take over. I do enjoy Luna she is a great villain on B&B but instead of Will I'd prefer Rent. Will and Electra to me seem to be feeling like for episodes I find them boring
I tried to read all the comments here, but there were just too many. It is over 12 hours later so I might be repeating things already said. I can't blame Brooke or Taylor. It all goes back to Ridge! Back when Brooke accepted the CEO position at Forrester. Instead of running to Taylor so quickly, he should have taken a month or two just to figure out how he felt about both women. Then Brooke would have had time to explain why she did that. Now I think he regrets going back to Taylor because he was wrong about Brooke, and he realizes he wants to be with her. He needs to make a damn decision immediately! And stick with it! I don't blame Brooke for basically saying "Love me, or leave me alone". Ridge has been sending mixed signals. I agree that Thorsten Kaye doesn't hold a candle to Ronn Moss because he is so much better! I did a happy dance when Ronn Moss retired. His pompous, wooden portrayal of Ridge was excruciating. Gen, I totally agree about Brooke! I keep saying that Brooke is acting like she owns Ridge and noone else must have him. She is quite willing for Taylor to get her heart broken just so Ridge can return to her, even though Ridge was the one who walked away from Brooke! Rather than let Ridge pay for breaking her heart, she wants Taylor to pay instead. And if Ridge does go back to her, I am pretty sure Brooke would be all up in that mansion helping her to pack her bags while throwing it in her face that Ridge came back to her just as she knew he would.

BBFan, Brooke cooked up a plan of taking the CEO position to help the Forresters when Carter and Hope offered it to her without talking to Ridge about it first. She felt that it would make her look like she was on his side and he would come back to her. However, when she went over to Eric's to tell him, after the fact, she instead saw Taylor coming downstairs in Ridge's shirt and got upset with Ridge. Ridge had already left Brooke before the CEO plan was even a thought in Brooke's head. So, I'm not sure why they are building Ridge and Brooke's troubles around her taking the CEO position as a "misunderstanding" and the reason why they are no longer together.

DeleteI don’t know if my first post went through so sorry if I’m repeating myself. I distinctly remember when Hope ripped the baby from Steffy’s arms. I remember thinking how cold and heartless to do that the way she did. Hope is just like her mother. The Logans are terrible people. Katie has become unwatchable. Anyone who has watched this show from its inception knows what Brooke is. She is no good for Ridge. Taylor truly is in love with him and has shown absolutely no manipulation. They are engaged for God’s sake! Brooke is out of line. As always.

I agree about Katie being a piece of work. She's always condescending and inserting her nasty opinions where they don't belong. The conversation with her and Will made me chuckle. I don't know any young men who would invite their mother into knowledge of their sex life, or lack thereof. I know this show has a limited number of sets but Taylor and Ridge should have been out of there and into their own place long ago. The lack of respect they tolerate from the Logans and elderly Eric is ridiculous.

DeleteTeam Taylor here. First why is Katie over at the Forrester mansion I know Donna lives there but I feel she came over just to upset Taylor. Second it's fine for Ridge to be with Brooke but he needs to come clean to Taylor and stop this bs going back and forth it's been decades! Taylor deserves a real man who wants and loves her and only her! Brooke also is a disappointment after how Ridge talked about Hope calling her a nasty little bitch and a slut after the take over. I do enjoy Luna she is a great villain on B&B but instead of Will I'd prefer Rent. Will and Electra to me seem to be feeling like for episodes I find them boring

ReplyDeleteI can't blame Brooke or Taylor. It all goes back to Ridge! Back when Brooke accepted the CEO position at Forrester. Instead of running to Taylor so quickly, he should have taken a month or two just to figure out how he felt about both women. Then Brooke would have had time to explain why she did that. Now I think he regrets going back to Taylor because he was wrong about Brooke, and he realizes he wants to be with her. He needs to make a damn decision immediately! And stick with it! I don't blame Brooke for basically saying "Love me, or leave me alone". Ridge has been sending mixed signals. He lets Brooke press up against him and caress his face. And then recently he flipped out when Nick came to town. If you don't want to be with her, you can't block her from being with someone else.
Why anyone would be fighting over being with Ridge is beyond me! This Ridge doesn’t hold a candle to Ronn Moss or to Nick for that matter. They say love is blind and it must truly be for Taylor and Brook. Taylor really lowers herself by having to ask Ridge to marry her! I don’t think he would have ever asked her himself. Then Ridge has to constantly listen to Taylor berating his ex, why would he want to listen to that the rest of his life? Would any man want to be married to such an insecure person? Wedding plans, seems like Ridge was not thrilled and not in a rush to marry Taylor. Her saying she would never take that ring off is her perogative, let her wear it forever, apparently she kept it and never gave it back to him. It is her keepsake and he never asked for it back, so she might as well keep wearing it instead of keeping it in it’s prized box. Quit leading both ladies on, something Ridge does so well. I think Brooke would want something new for a change, and why not marry Nick and make Ridge miserable with boring Taylor always psychoanalyzing him to death and whining about Brooke every chance she gets. That truly would get old rather quickly.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Thorsten Kaye doesn't hold a candle to Ronn Moss because he is so much better! I did a happy dance when Ronn Moss retired. His pompous, wooden portrayal of Ridge was excruciating. The guy just isn't attractive in any way. I'm sure he could be the nicest guy in the world IRL and I did like his one hit, 'Baby Come Back' with his band, Player. It sounds like Hall & Oats. Ronn Moss was pissed because he had an agreement with Brad Bell that after 25 years Ridge would not be recast. Are we not surprised? TK brought humor and that head tilt to the role. Ridge is still a narcissist but I find this one so much more palatable maybe because I knew him from his prior soap roles where he had a sort of Irish accent. JMHO

DeleteRight, BBFan. ☺️ He's German/British and for the role of Patrick Thornhart, One Life to Live asked TK for a "fictional Irish accent" which he also did playing Dr. Ian Thornhart on Port Charles. Zach Slater was supposed to be British. I, too, catch the accent @ times as with German actor Eric Braeden who plays Victor Newman on The Young and the Restless.
