The computer says that all videos have ads. So annoying. If you stream on CBS you have to pay. This is ridiculous for a show that only last 20 minutes.
I can't believe that they haven't at least put Donna and Katie in this storyline. They are always there for each other so I'm wondering why the writers didn't make them a part of this. We all know the truth is going to come out. I just wish they would hurry up and get done with it. I want Sheila to get exactly what she deserves which is nothing and nobody. Thomas should pay attention to how much she asks him to help her. He's being used just like Taylor is so she can get closer to Finn and her grandson. The thing is she's going about it the wrong way and nobody will be happy with it when they find out. Especially Finn because she lied to him when she said she wasn't going to do anything bad again.

Why does Ridge claims Taylor was his mother's choice when he was the one chasing her to St.Thomas to propose? From what I recall, Stephanie didn't even like Taylor at the beginning.
I believe Stephanie preferred Taylor at the beginning because she was easy to mold. Taylor could've never stood on her own. Always was hiding behind Stephanie's skirt. Once Stephanie said jump....Taylor wasn't asking how high. She'll jump like a fool. And Stephanie disliked Brooke because she reminded her of herself. Brooke was Hard to break and get rid of. That's why they had that intense rivalry.
But at the end when Stephanie was dying she chose Brooke to be with rather than Taylor. They formed a bond that was unbreakable just like their long rivalry...and she also realized she was wrong about who she wanted for her son. And Taylor was totally jealous and upset that she wasn't the one chosen to be near Stephanie on her last days.

But at the end when Stephanie was dying she chose Brooke to be with rather than Taylor. They formed a bond that was unbreakable just like their long rivalry...and she also realized she was wrong about who she wanted for her son. And Taylor was totally jealous and upset that she wasn't the one chosen to be near Stephanie on her last days.
Bell has been propping up Brooke to get KKL an Emmy nomination. So we get to see her whine and cry for months and months. Personally, award shows are not my thing. They should have an award for most boring, monotonous, tedious soap. All have gone downhill in the past few years but this year, B&B takes the cake.
Perhaps the time for Soaps is over. They have been diminishing for quite some time now. The younger generation find them amusing rather than compulsory like the older generation. I still enjoy B & B but find myself longing for the good old days instead of the "woke" version served up today. Long term I think their time has come. Shame Mr Bell did not take B & B to night time as he had originally planned. Let the chips fall where they may.
I think it went downhill when Hope 2.0 came and they started breaking the OTP Steam along with the little family, most viewers need a pillow to shout or box in as they tinker almost all of Steffy & Liam's storyline into Liam & Hope and never really Steam want to give a happy ending with family and stuff, we in Germany don't have this problem in soaps because we don't have such a one-sided writing for 2 characters!!!

No Brooke Stephanie tried to get rid of you because your own mother occupied space in Erics heart. She said her family stood for integrity and love but she was hiding the paternity of Ridge from Eric. Though recollections may vary...
Soap moms always want the boring, dependable choice that will look good in family photos. No one will look and wonder how they got a blond kid, etc. The more self-righteous the character the more underhanded acts they have done themselves. It's "DIFFERENT" when THEY do it. Stephanie fits the bill.
Dawn-Brooke us not hateful and evil. She didn't do anything, it was Shelia. Everyone needs to stop believing that alcohol doesn't affect a person's behavior. And Shelia had no right to mess with Brooke. Obviously Brooke isn't as bad as the fans think because she was saying she would look out for Steffy and her family and would let Shelia near them. She knows what an evil whack job Sheila is and so does everyone else. Taylor knows how she is too, so tell me why she continues to talk to her. And Thomas knows the same and that she is only going after what she wants so Thomas shouldn't be keeping this secret. Not to mention he knows how Steffy feels about her. Brooke didn't do anything to deserve what Shelia did.
Maddy, again, ridge accepted the issue with the alcohol, it was her lying to him for months AFTER the night she drank he could not accept.. not only that, she had hope, Liam and worst of all hushed up a little boy, ALL WHILE SOBER.. then defended deacon, and not just after, but before the alcohol.. how and why can you not see or understand this?? It baffles me??

I did not hear boo from you when she lied for months, or when she silenced a little boy, or got hope and Liam to lie for her, u said nothing about any of that.. brook herself admits it, how can u not admit it? U can rant about Thomas should tell the truth, and that he is a terrible person if he doesn’t.. you didn’t say that about brook?? Alcohol as her excuse does not cut it!!

She will go after any man even if they are married and actively encouraged Hope to do the same. She also encouraged Donna to go after Eric even after Eric and Quinn had reconciled, and it was all because Brooke wanted Quinn out of Eric's life. Poor Donna lost her job over it and I have not heard Brooke apologize to her sister once. All Brooke cares about is getting what she wants.
For all the love that she says she has for Ridge, you would think that she would respect his wishes about Deacon knowing that Deacon is her ex-lover and father of her child. Hope and Liam were willing to move out of the cabin so that Hope can have a relationship with her father but Brooke was having none of it. She insisted that Hope stay and further opened her home to Deacon, insisting to Ridge that this was HER HOUSE. She did not care one bit how it affected Ridge and is only now seeing how her actions have affected her marriage now that Ridge has walked away from her.
Yes, Colly and Elle, these flashbacks have shown what a conniving selfish, entitled bully Brooke has always been - never was she the “underdog” as a fan called her previously. That had me ROTFL and wondering if we are watching the same show. I’m shocked that Brooke finally acknowledges her bad behavior and asks, “What’s wrong with me?” Indeed. The woman should be in intensive therapy. Sheila is an entertaining nemesis which Brooke caused all those decades ago. The writers need to move on as to the why of Brooke drinking. No alcoholic dwells on this for months. It is reasonable to believe impetuous Brooke drank because she was pissed at Ridge for not being with her highness on a holiday period. Can’t Ridge make his own personal decisions on his own? Why does everyone get to weigh-in on whether he should move on from Brooke. The answer is obvious but this guy enjoys the drama.

Hello Unknown, you and I might be around the same age (73) as I have been a fan since '87 also. How terrific to the see the wonderful actress, Susan Flannery (as Stephanie Forrester) even if in flashbacks and that ought to tell the writers what is missing...... A Forrester MATRIACH.... and no Brooke cannot ever aspire to that role, nor Taylor, too weak!
Birdco- she didn't cheat on Ridge. A kiss and being in the same bed isn't cheating. She didn't ask Deacon to stay there. And it's not ok for Ridge to run right to Taylor and to be kissing her. Neither Ridge or Taylor should be doing what they're doing. The writers have her sucking as a psychiatrist because no real professional would be doing what she's doing. Taylor hasn't been around for years and as a parent shouldn't have made up excuses for not being there when Thomas was going through his issues or for her daughter's wedding. Tired of people making Taylor looks so great because she's not.
At this point does anyone even care who ends up with whom? Taylor is gorgeous and can certainly do better than her two-time ex. Brooke should be true to her shady character and stick with Deacon who will tolerate her indiscretions despite the writers having Eric talk about ‘destiny’ which sounds so silly coming from mature adults.

Reconciliation coming soon!! 😁😁 So now Finn has been pulled into all this. That means whether Thomas spills to Steffy or not, it doesn’t really matter. Cuz Sheila will end up telling Finn cuz he will INSIST. So champagne bottle label cluster soon to be revealed. So much for all the Taylor / Ridge fans out there. I’m glad the writers are already moving Ridge back to Brooke before too much time passes.
Loved seeing those flashbacks today. I miss Stephanie. I hope that Brooke and Ridge have a sincere conversation about why they cannot stay true to each other before they even think about reuniting. Maybe then they would realize that they are just in love with the ideal of each other.

You ladies have a different understanding of the word “slut” than I do. Since I have been watching B&B again (for about 4 years now), I am not aware of even one other person besides Ridge that Brooke has slept with. And in both her kissing screwups (Bill and Deacon)…neither time did Brooke go out searching for another man to be with because she was intent on cheating or having an affair. If the latter were true, then the word “slut” could apply. But that is not the case. So if she did awful things during all those years when I wasn’t watching B&B, then she must have cleaned up her act quite a bit more recently. Both the Bill and Deacon kisses were spur of the moment kisses and turned into nothing but regret as soon as they happened. Those circumstances do not constitute a “slut” label that you continue to give her. Brooke is the queen and will come out on top again, and clearly you ladies hate that. But that’s what’s gonna happen. I can pretty much guarantee it.
Lynn, just because you did not look at the show when Brooke wholly embodied her slut from the valley persona doesn't mean it did not happen. There is a reason why the character of Brooke is known as the biggest whore of daytime.
I really wish I would have seen those years so I could judge for myself. But what I do know is that for at least 4 years she hasn’t fine anything that would make her this whore that everyone keep calling her. 4 years is a long time, so it appears she has cleaned up her act. Cut her some slack.

She has probably matured in the last 4 years but even as recently as when Bill came to the show and married Katie, Brooke went after Bill without nary a care that he was married to her sister. It seems that type of behaviour is inherent in her since she always sabotages her happiness with Ridge by being with someone else.

Hi Bob, Thank you for posting these blogs. I've tried to find the older shows like Brooke and deacon in love in 2008 or 2013 as they are advertised to be, but they are in foreign language drowning out the english dialog. Even youtube! Is there a site to see old B&Bs in English?

Lynn, just because you did not look at the show when Brooke wholly embodied her slut from the valley persona doesn't mean it did not happen. There is a reason why the character of Brooke is known as the biggest whore of daytime.
DeleteI really wish I would have seen those years so I could judge for myself. But what I do know is that for at least 4 years she hasn’t fine anything that would make her this whore that everyone keep calling her. 4 years is a long time, so it appears she has cleaned up her act. Cut her some slack.

DeleteShe has probably matured in the last 4 years but even as recently as when Bill came to the show and married Katie, Brooke went after Bill without nary a care that he was married to her sister. It seems that type of behaviour is inherent in her since she always sabotages her happiness with Ridge by being with someone else.
