ReplyDeleteMarie Osmond was mean on the show today. What did she do to her face? It looked horrible.
ReplyDeleteMarie looked like she was wearing a Marie Osmond Halloween mask. Disney makes snow white masks with more subtle makeup. Peter Lorre did a similar thing on "The face behind the mask" Can't come back as a teenager and expect anyone to take it seriously. There's no growing old gracefully here! The reels on fb have these slides of actors and actresses that have had so much surgery on their faces they look like fright visages. They would scare children and me.

DeleteSo Eric doesn’t just want a last collection, he’s planning to take CEO away from Steffy and Ridge for NO reason. Let me guess he’ll hand it to RJ on a platter ððð.
I wasn’t impressed with either of the first two looks today.
At least we finally get to see the show room again. Is it just me or has it shrunk or 1/4 of its former size???

DeleteThat's why I don't like Eric now because I'm wondering why he wants to take the company away from Ridge and Steffy. It still is his company anyway? Why he wants to be CEO again? Of course he can do it if he wants, nyt why isn't enough just to design. He knows that he can't do that job long time. Yes, he gives the company to RJ, I'm sure about that. Has he studied something that gives him opportunities to run the company? That we don't know. Nyt it's unfair that first you'll give the company CEO job and without no reason you take the job away ðĪ He isn't capable to work a longest time now. Nyt I know he is a medical miracle who lives much longer than expected.

DeleteThe thing is he made Ridge and Steffy prove they could do the job before they were given the joint position. Both had many years of experience and spent their adult lives working there.
DeleteRJ is a kid who just finished his basic school leaving qualifications ! He’s been travelling making videos around the world of bungee jumping etc. He literally has no experience except a few weeks of helping Eric write down his desi.
RJ had NO interest in Forrester, in designing or fashion at all. He said he wanted nothing to do with the family business etc.
Now he’s suddenly the wunderkind because he’s Brooke and Ridge’s son and his grandfather’s favourite???
Ridge and Steffy have done a stellar job running the company and bringing Carter on as COO was a wise move. He’s helped them immensely.
Eric is a phenomenal designer, always was, but he was a terrible businessman! He and Stephanie went head to head over the company many times over that. Eric mismanaged the business and drove it into the ground more than once. His poor judgment lost him the company for years until Steffy got it back for the family!
We know the writers don’t care about the show being at all realistic. IRL Steffy and Ridge are majority shareholders and Eric only owns 12% of Forrester so he couldn’t just pull them and name a new CEO . However this is B&B so I can see it happening.
The other thing that really bothers me is that Eric is forgetting that by throwing Ridge out he’s also doing the same to Steffy! She has nothing to do with their pissing match but apparently that doesn’t matter.
Technically Eric can’t decide anything on his own, but the family has allowed him to make major decisions in the past out of respect as the founder of the company.
I hope Steffy fights him over this if he wins. Again I can see Thomas hedging bets because Eric winning has terrible implications for the actual running of Forrester. May as well file bankruptcy now!
BBfan I agree again! You are writing my thoughts! I so hope that Eric can't have the company! I'm pissed if RJ suddenly becomes something "big"
DeleteBecause RJ is half Logan, Eric adores him more than the other grandkids. And especially now when he helped him very lot. RJ now has been a real treasure to Eric, that's obvious. He should get the prize sure, but no CEO job in my opinion
DeleteBecause Brooke is more important than Taylor, that's why Brookes kid is better. Eric loves all the grandkids very much. But because he always has loved Brooke, that's why I think that matters

DeleteWell, not the most exciting fashion show!! I guess they can’t afford all the extras out the back like the old days!! Eric says he wants to savour the back atmosphere but no one was out there ðĪĢðĪĢðĪĢ speaking of extras!! The looks on some of their faces in the crowd, hilarious.. it was like they were witnessing Armageddon!!
ReplyDeleteSad right? I miss the old days when they had decent writers and budget. Clearly after all the hype they went on the cheap. They didn’t even get nice gowns to show, Forrester should be shut down if that is the rubbish they are selling as haute couture.

True, bb, considering all the hype, and this being Erics “final collection”, and the flash back of the old days of him running around like a max chook, checking on models, changing jewellery, making adjustments, and people everywhere, even makeup artists in the scene, and they go from that, to Eric out the back completely on his own, with gowns hanging on a rack??wtf?? and looking at the designs on paper, in Erics house, looked much better than the two that first came out?? Ridges just looked like a dime a dozen typical dress with a slit, and a bit of glitter?? I wouldn’t spend big money on it!! Very dissapointing that they put so much into HFTF fashion show but the “iconic” Eric is dying and it’s his last and they give us this??
DeleteI just rewatched the show, which I never normally do, it’s amazing the things you pick up on a sscond watch that you don’t on a first.. now, I could be way off here?? But when Ridge entered the showroom, he looked straight at Countess Hotdog, who by the way looks like a piggy in a blanket that forgot to take its make off.. I am wondering by the nod Ridge gave her , if maybe he is in cahoots with her to try and sway people towards his gowns?? Because of her influence, she could sway others and if Ridge has shown her his collection and made some sort of deal with him?? I don’t know, Mayb I am reading too much into it??

DeleteAfter what Thomas was telling Hope about needing his dad to win the challenge, I’m wondering will he make sure Ridge wins? I could see him reverting to his old tricks to help the family. Especially since the HFTF budget is non existent now due to Eric’s extravagant diamonds and lace!

Agreed. Really bad business removing funding from your biggest revenue earner. But seeing how extravagant Eric was being, guess they had no choice. HFTF probably has the biggest budget of all the lines.

I have a feeling, that Ester is going to be the one who wins the forrester gown and private fitting!! Wouldn’t that put the Countess hotdogs nose out of joint!!
DeleteColly it would be fine if it was just about the line but Eric is dying and wants to take back CEO from the two majority shareholders that brought the company back from the brink of bankruptcy due to Eric’s mismanagement of it!! That isn’t okay!
DeleteI think they want us to forget Eric doesn’t have the power as a 12% shareholder to replace and name a new CEO for fun! I think he’ll give it to RJ to spite Ridge! I could see it being Rick all over again and Forrester being bankrupt in five minutes. It’s taken over ten years to try an d bring it back with Carter keeping a firm hand on things!
DeleteEric wouldn't just be dying, but crazy as all get out if he decides to put "wet behind the ears" RJ as the head of the company. Until now, RJ has shown absolutely no interest in running FC or even being involved in the family business. Eric should bow out gracefully instead of trying to steamroll his way back as Head of FC. BBFan, you're right. It was due to Eric's mismangement of FC in the first place, that made them lose the majority of shares before. If not for Steffy, FC would have belonged to someone else. Wonder what Eric would have done then?

That would be interesting if Thomas does something. But I think he tries to be a better man now that he'll have a relationship with Hope some day. Can he keep calm himself? How long.. weeks, months.. Of course I'll hope that years. But never know about him

ERIC WAS A POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUSBAND AND FATHER AND DESERVES TO FILL the PAIN and suffering he did to his Wife Stephanie and his Children for years and years!!

Ridge, I hope all the pain and suffering you went through with Eric over the years is FINALLY WORTH IT!!
