DeleteI'm willing to bet that Hope still loves Thomas. When he left her, she blamed Steffy, which led to her going after Finn. Then, when Steffy cut her line, she latched on to Carter because she saw him as her savior. When Steffy fired Hope, she encouraged Carter to steal the company.
DeleteAll of Hope's actions goes back to Steffy. Now, that she and Steffy have made peace, and she has her job back, she's realizing she doesn't need Carter as a savior anymore but, she also (I think) doesn't want to go back to Liam either because she is no longer in love with him, and hasn't been for some time.
Will she run to Thomas now that he's back? Time will tell. I don't think Thomas would want to put his heart out there again with Hope though.
I'll bet Will won't go through having sex with Electra because he'll keep having flashbacks about the night of the party, he'll say, I'm sorry Electra, I can't do this right now.

AND I TOLD YOU!!! Luna is gonna get pregnant with Will. She might even run away if Will rejects her, if he finds out she is alive! Maybe she gets the baby in prison and Will raises the baby with Electra… unless Electra can’t stand looking at the baby without thinking of Luna, which might be the reason to them maybe breaking up eventually. Idk, it’s a bizarre storyline all together in any case. But Luna is just like her mother, selfish!

Well I was surprised they showed next week's previews since they were behind, it usually takes a couple of weeks to catch up, but I'm glad we got to see next week's previews. Well we don't have to wonder when Thomas is coming back, because he will be back next week. I didn't see Paris with Thomas, so I wonder if they even still together?

ReplyDeleteBeth wanted to spend time with her parents together today as Carter looked on, not very pleased. Reminded me of the scene about 2 years ago with Douglas wanting the same with Hope and Thomas while Liam looked on. I remember Hope had been spending a lot of time at the Forrester mansion with Thomas and Douglas and couldn't help but compare Hope's excitement back then, to be spending time with Thomas and Douglas compared to today, where she was less than excited. Could this be foreshadowing of what's to come? 🤔 🤔

DeleteI knew you would bring that up. And while you don't like to admit it, Thomas has come a long way since then and paid for his shenanigans. His entire family turned their backs on him and he lost the trust that Hope was building in him. I also never condoned what Thomas did back then. Thomas is a different person, whether you want to believe it or not.
DeleteAs for Thomas thinking about himself, we shall see. I'm pretty sure he won't try to come between Carter and Hope with manipulations and ultimatums, the way Brooke is trying to get Ridge to come back to her by constantly reminding him that Nick wants her and wants to marry her.

Also, before he left, Brooke had come to accept and acknowledged that he'd changed. She also forgave him for his past actions. But I know all of that is ignored in favor of holding onto Thomas' past. It is what it is.
You say that Elle….about Thomas, but then I hear time and time again about how Brooke hasn’t changed, when CLEARLY she has. She hasn’t slept around in I’m guessing at least a decade on this show. Yet according to the Brooke haters, she’s exactly the same person as she was years and years ago. It’s simply not true!
DeleteMany on here, including myself, have acknowledged that Brooke has stopped sleeping around (there are still some die hard haters, I know). What we refer to when we talk about her being the same as she's always been is her entitlement to Ridge and willingness to do whatever it takes to have him. Her subtle manipulation tactics and her lack of respect for Ridge's relationship with Taylor. You weren't watching back then but this entire current storyline with Brooke going after Ridge while he is with Taylor is classic Brooke. Her behavior has not changed.

Where Thomas is concerned, since he returned a redeemed man after the CPS incident, we have not seen him return to his old ways. He has been completely respectful and honest with Hope, even about Emma. He also apologized to Brooke for what he did and she accepted his apology and acknowledged that he has changed. To me, that's where the difference lies.
Elle, the waters haven’t been tested when it comes to seeing what he’s willing to do to keep his mom and dad together. Brooke and Ridge have been off the episodes for 2 full weeks. They are coming back this week….thank goodness!! I still maintain Ridge is going to choose Brooke. And when that happens, Thomas is probably going to go into overdrive to keep his parents together and to make sure that wedding happens. You don’t like the Brooke, Eric or Katie manipulation and have commented on it time and time again. But the king of manipulation is Thomas. So we will see how this shakes out. Thomas isn’t as changed as you think he is. And I’m guessing he’s back to his old tricks in no time. But you ladies will find excuses and defend him. Prove me wrong. I would be very happy to see you call him out when he behaves badly. And he definitely will because his character is far more interesting when he’s devious Thomas. So the writers will of course take him back down the dark path.
DeleteExcept a lot of fans love the new Thomas. The choice by the writers to take Thomas down a dark path once more will not be a popular one, if you ask me. People wishing for him to return to his old ways are people who just want to be able to say "I told you so."
DeleteBesides, it doesn't make a lot of sense to develop a character the way they have Thomas, only for him to revert to his old ways. We have Luna and Remy to pick up that slack.
