Of course I loved this episode and can't wait to see the ones coming up. I hope that Brooke and ridge get married in Italy and come home and that Brooke rubs it in Taylor's face. Maybe, just maybe, she'll finally figure it out and stop being a doormat and second choice. To be such a supposedly educated professional woman she's just plain stupid

How do you determine who is first or second choice? Over the past 2 - 3 years, Ridge has been engaged to Taylor twice. Brooke tried to get him to agree to marrying her and he declined! Should we use Ridge's penchant for wanting to marry Taylor and not wanting to marry Brooke as the measure for who is first and who is second?

DeleteRidge told her multiple times that he wanted a life with Brooke but Taylose couldn't stand it, she was repeating all the time that "Brooke wasn't good enough for him" yeah but when it was for her own benefit, she forgot Stephanie's friendship and went to see Eric, manipulated him with her 2 cent psychology, telling him to fight for Brooke and not let Rick grow up without his 2 parents...
She didn't care a bit about Ridge's feelings, she just wanted him at all cost.
Eric then begged Ridge not to take Brooke away from him, so for the love of his dad, Ridge gave up on Brooke and took a plane to join Taylose in St Thomas. In the plane, he was crying over a picture of Brooke and saying that he was doing this for his father.
So YES, Taylose was a second choice, he married her in the first place because he wanted to grant his father's request, by marrying Taylose, he wasn't available anymore and Brooke will stay with Eric but she didn't and Ridge realized quickly that he made a mistake. He never let Brooke go on with her life. Every time she met someone, he sabotaged her relationship, he didn't want her with anyone else, always sending her mix signals. She was supposed to marry James, he interrupted the ceremony. It wasn't back and forth 2 women, Tayloop was, is and will always be his doormat. Each time he and Brooke had a fight or a disagreement, like a spoiled brat, he went straight to her to cry on her shoulder and complain, it had always been a game for him, sleeping with Taylose was only Brooke's punishment. And his monumental EGO was delighted to see 2 women fighting for him. PERIOD. He is a jerk, the biggest in this show. Stop pretending Taylose is a Saint and Brooke the vilain. She went after Ridge (And cheat on him with James), Thorne, Eric (Yes, she even tried with Eric, even if he was Stephanie's husband, but when it's Taylose it's not a big deal right?) and Nick. She wanted to be with all the men that were in love with Brooke. And it's not because they changed the actress that what the character did in the past has to be forgotten. She's a killer and she NEVER paid for it. Shoting a man in cold blood is definitely not "doing nothing wrong". She pretend to be a good psy 🙄 and she didn't see that Ridge came to her only because he was upset, like he did EVERY other times?! Stupid idiot. What kind of advice does she give her patients? "If your husband cheat on you, just wait, he will come back... and if he goes back to this other woman again, just wait, he will be upset with her one day, and he will come back, be a good doormat, let him humiliate you and let you down as often as he wants because you love him and loving someone means being taken for an idiot all the time"

DeleteMiss sushi, please stop with the untruths. Taylor never decided that Ridge should be with her. From the moment Ridge met Taylor, as Caroline's oncologist, he started giving her googly eyes. Even Caroline noticed, which prompted her to tell Ridge that after she is gone, he should be with Brooke. But Ridge was not having that. After Caroline died, Ridge started stalking Taylor. He kept showing up to the hospital to see her, tracked her down in the lab and even showed up at her apartment. When Taylor asked how did he know where she lived, he admitted that he followed her! Taylor kept telling Ridge that he should be with Brooke. That she knew he loved Brooke. And what did Ridge keep telling Taylor? That she should not worry about Brooke. Ridge also asked Taylor out numerous times and Taylor kept telling him no until she finally decided that she would have one dinner date with him. You should really rewatch those early episodes. They are all on youtube.
DeleteAnd for context, yes Ridge loved Brooke BUT she was his father's wife. That is why he arranged to have another woman in his bed so that Brooke could find him and the other woman together. He did that, not as some great sacrifice for his father but because it was the right thing to do since Brooke was married to Eric. He had already decided to let Brooke go and move on because he loved Taylor. That was why he flew to St. Thomas to find her and propose to her. He and Taylor got married and they were happily married for many years, no matter how many times Brooke tried to come between them.
DeletePeople become so focused on who Ridge loved more or who was first and second choice instead of realizing that, all along, Ridge has loved 2 women. That's why the writers keep playing this story for years upon years upon years. Ridge has always loved both women, even up until today.
So they bring back Nick to make Ridge the hero, Brooke's saver.... ridiculous, Dona and Katy couldn't be more ridiculous than that. And about Nick they let him to die on the boat??😂😂😂😂😂

Ridge certainly doesn’t look too interested to get back to the mainland. He seems very content holding onto his Logan. I’m pretty sure that’s checkmate. But we’ll have to see how he handles things with Taylor when they get back home before we call it a wrap.
Ridge's kiss looked like a kiss of gratitude that she was alive, not love for Brooke. And his "we'll make this right" sounded like a continued apology for his overreaction when she took the CEO position. I expected fireworks and undying declarations of "I will never let you go" and "I want us to spend the rest of our lives together," especially since Ridge could have lost Brooke forever! The big save fell flat, imo.

I've actually said that she should not have taken Ridge back so soon after he walked away from Brooke. When she proposed to Ridge, I said that it made her look desperate. My lack of support for a Bridge reunion is not because I want Taylor to win. I'm just sick and tired of the back and forth and, this time, of the way Taylor was treated. And believe it or not, I do want Brooke to find happiness -- with Nick, because Brooke always makes a fool of herself for Ridge and it simply is not a good look on her.

DeleteThe other day when he found her in the plaza after he took off after her, he hadn’t finished talking when the conversation was forced to a close. Nick showed up and took her away. So we don’t know what else Ridge may have said to her near the fountain. The fact that he was so desperate and I mean DESPERATE to stop the proposal was very telling. What I know about men, if they are truly over you….they will let go and let you live your life as you see fit. The only reason Ridge was so dead set against Brooke with Nick is because Ridge wants his cake and to eat it too! It’s none of Ridge’s damn business!! He should be concerned with his own business….Taylor! And that should be the end of it. But nope!! Because he wants his Logan all for himself!

Ridge and Taylor reunited and were happily married with the twins and Thomas while Brooke desperately tried to break them up.
Brooke had many destinies including Thorne, Nick, Bill, etc.

Very true, BBFan. Brava!!!!! There was nothing Brooke could do to get Ridge away from Taylor. Bell Jr. changed history to make it look like Brooke was always Ridge's love however, she was not.

She claimed to love Ridge while kissing on Bill because she was sad that Ridge was with someone else. She claimed to love Ridge but kissed Deacon then told Ridge that the man she kissed while drunk will always be welcomed in her house. She claimed to love Ridge but justified her daughter's reasoning for stealing Ridge's family's company rather than stand by the man she claimed to love. Is it any wonder Ridge wanted nothing to do with her?
