Yay, it’s finally up! Better late than never!
ReplyDeleteFirst Taylor acts like she will have none of this ‘ending the engagement’ stuff! But then Ridge lets her know he wants to be with Brooke, so Taylor reluctantly accepts it (for now.) We already know Thomas is gonna lose it!!
I was very taken back by Ridge walking away from the engagement with Taylor and going straight to Brooke to propose to her! But at least HE proposed to HER! And not the other way around. So Ridge clearly DOES want to marry Brooke. And when they were hugging at the end, you could just see the happiness in his eyes! He’s home now!! ❤️❤️❤️
I also liked that Ridge made it clear to Taylor that Eric and Brooke did NOT influence his decision. This decision was made by Ridge and Ridge alone. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I hope Will is able to get up off the bed and defend himself against Luna. Still not sure what the crazy girl is going to pull next!!

It makes no difference who proposed to who, bottom line is Brooke has proposed twice and he declined. There was a romantic triangle from the very first episode, but Junior, for his muse, swapped the iconic soap opera for the irritating fan fiction "The Boring and the Brooke." Ridge, for the third time after 2011 and 2022, lacks even a shred of honor to immediately go after dumping Taylor? Complete disrespect, misogyny, and contempt for women. No wonder the ratings are at an all-time low. The characters keep talking about the same things, only rearranging their words in their sentences, the plots are the same, the pathology is the same.

DeleteThank you, Captain Obvious! But if, like me, you'd watched from the very first episodes, you'd know that Ridge chose Taylor in 1992, 1993, 1998, and 2001, and Caroline in the '80s. After the creator, his son took over, and the show became a complete Logan centric. I wonder why? :D
