ReplyDeleteThat is exactly what I thought when I watched that scene. Why does Steffy give her mother-in-law a pass? Li is the only reason that Luna is alive. Yes, it was bad judgement for Shelia not to tell Deacon that Luna was alive once she learned that information; however, Li is fully responsible for Luna's survival.
DeleteWhy is Sheila cowtowing to the biggest hypocrite -killer- Stephy? She has done more than Luna ever did! Stephy shot Sheila first! See youtube "Stephy shot Sheila in Eric's Room." Stephy shot her because she was afraid Sheila would get her back. THAT IS NOT SELF-DEFENSE for Stephy when Sheila was unarmed and unthreatening. Stephy could have easily left if she was afraid. That's attempted murder. Once again dirty rich Forresters skate. To see Sheila genuflecting to the this soulless miserable person is sickening.

IMO, Steffy is more concerned Sheila is showing her old ways, being deceitful and knows what Sheila is capable of if things don't go her way. Li is not a threat.
DeleteShe was shocked when Sheila told her, her mother was the reason Deacon came back to her. We know where this is going. Taylor will be Sheila's next target when Deacon shows his real feelings.
Lynn I don't think Steffy was being snarky. She speaks her mind. Her dad is showing concern about her mom. Brooke is trying to show she cares, but it's not genuine and Steffy knows it.
All said and done..it was boring 😴 today.
D - Li broke the law and should have lost her medical license. Bringing psycho Luna back to life shows just how poor Li’s judgement is. And in my eyes, that poses a threat. Regardless, Steffy definitely needed to call Li out! It was Li who did everything! Shella found out about it way after the fact and yet is bearing the blame for everything! Both from Deacon and from Steffy.

DeleteD - as far as Steffy’s snark, I was mainly referring to how she spoke to Sheila. I get why Steffy is mad at her dad and Brooke. I didn’t begrudge Steffy for speaking her mind to Ridge. After all, Ridge did what he always does…..he chose Brooke over Taylor. So Steffy is bitter.
DeleteShe should have lost her medical license when she did the same thing for Finn. Yes it was bad judgment on her part, but it wasn't for malicious purposes. Sheila has been proven to be psychotic. Steffy doesn't see Li as a threat. Yes Sheila found out about this after the fact, but is showing she still can't be trusted. She was willing to lose the man who she said has changed her for the better. Steffy was questioning that and if it came across as snarky, it was warranted.

DeleteIf it weren’t for Li, Luna would be 6 feet under. And that’s where she should be!! It is NOT Sheila’s fault that Luna is alive. And that’s what Steffy is most upset about! It’s none of Steffy’s business if Sheila kept it from Deacon. The damage was done by Li when she saved her!!
Lynn - I do agree with you about Li, and Steffy probably will confront her next. But that's not what Steffy is so upset about. She's more upset Sheila is proving not to be trusted and kept this from not just Deacon, but Finn as well. Knowing how much turmoil, pain and a threat to his family Luna has been.
DeleteHold the phone, D. Sheila barely even speaks to Finn. Why would it be Sheila’s responsibility to tell Finn?? It was absolutely Li’s responsibility to tell Finn!!! Even Finn was very upset with Li for not telling him!! Finn didn’t think for a minute….Gee, I wonder why Sheila didn’t tell me about Luna?!! I think you are way off base here.
DeleteSteffy barely has any relationship with Deacon and doesn’t even know him very well. Steffy is questioning her mom’s judgement about why Taylor would be giving Deacon advice about Sheila. I think Steffy is going to confront Taylor.

DeleteLet's not forget Li's words to Shelia when Shelia discovered Luna in a coma. Li warned her nobody could know as Luna would go to jail. The recovery went from a coma one day to Luna sneaking out the next day. Ridiculously unrealistic! If Luna was bedbound & the 2 grannies were secretly caring for her for a few weeks, Deacon would have been the only one upset with Shelia for keeping the secret. Seriously, how did Li (a woman with a PhD) really think that she could turn Luna's life around?

Double standards everywhere. There is no way they would have played the storyline the same if Will was a woman r@ped by a man. And why did Finn and everyone want Grace to lose her medical license and turn herself into the police, while Li skates by stealing not 1 but 2 unconscious bodies from the hospital, stealing hospital property/supplies and harboring a dangerous, violent criminal. She's just back at work like, Hi y'all 👋. And before anyone says it was for her family and Grace scammed $$, let me remind you that the only reason Grace did what she did was to protect her daughters from dangerous people. I may sound heated but I've got my theories about why Grace got jail and Li got nada.

DeleteDeacon's pep talk to Taylor . Deacon coming across as a life coach was UGH . Li would not lose her license for saving Fin's life or saving Luna's life its not a crime to save a life when you are a Doctor . Doctors are suppose to save lives . Not telling anyone who knows Fin and Luna that they were alive is not a crime either so at best Li would just get a reprimand from the Hospital
