Brooke is so arrogant. Forrester never had Logan name in their collections. Selfish Brooke was constantly promoting her name, and now she's even skimping on trademarking Logan. That's Katie's last name too, I hope she kicks Mattress and Widge's assets. :D
ReplyDeleteWow! That was some intense dialogue between Brooke & Katie. Brooke has such a high opinion of herself. Of course, the conversations are meant to set the stage for competition between Forrester Creations & Logan. The writers have thrown gasoline on the fire & now it will be war between the Logan sisters.

Nick Marone was in love with her until he almost drowned her & "destiny" saved her. 💲Bill does not seem at all interested in the dressmaker's destiny. I'm not Brooke fan but Katie is a BITCH, she's turned into Bill 2.0 faster than the speed of light. Why would she even want to be associated with Logan knowing full well that Brooke has had it for year's. I thought Katie wanted to make a name for HERSELF. Seems like Bill's plan to use Katie to destroy FC is working, wasn't such a good idea giving him back his beloved sword necklace Katie. Katie just never learns, she's a bugger for punishment when it comes to Bill.

DeleteIt's a trademark / license. Didn't Bill tell Katie and Liam yesterday that Brooke and Ridge were right. Having a trademark is not the same as each individual "line" you can call the "line" anything you want., it's got nothing to do with the trademark.

But I still think Katie could have named it Katie Logan Fashions, or Katie Logan Designs….as Brooke suggested. Brooke is known throughout the industry whether Katie likes it or not. If Katie truly wants to differentiate herself from Brooke, then her company name choice does not do that.

I'm happy for Katie. Brooke thinks she's entitled to everything. The things she was saying was just revealing who she really is. Katie had every right to use the name Logan she is after all a Logan. And yes it's a pet name ridge calls Brooke. Trademark or not if it was that important they wouldn't of let it expire about a year ago. The only reason they want it back is because someone in this case Katie wants to name her company after her maiden name. The audacity of Brooke calling Katie a little girl who looked down on her, wanting to be her, sponging of her, that she is destined to fail, she doesn't have any designers it's just a dream making her feel like she said something bad about Eric in comparison to the dream the list goes on and on and on. It's really selfish and manipulative. Brooke might be this big fashion icon but she only is because other people worked their asses of to put her there. Talking about getting things handed to. Katie is as well part of that team that made Brooke to what it is now PR was needed obviously but if Brooke could have it her way Katie would always stay in her shadows. But I'm also thinking, "Katie Logan" has a nice ring to it, because she will be standing on her own, her success would be her own and wouldn't be associated with the "Logan" brand. Maybe Katie should differentiate herself. Imagine her company because successful and the public associates that with Brooke, thinking Brooke is apart of Katie's business. Brooke might have a point when she says, everybody knows "Logan" to be Brooke Logan. Maybe Brooke is not being selfish, but would rather Katie make her own identity in the fashion industry.

Is Brooke forgetting that the Forresters were furious when they learn that she took the CEO position, even Ridge left her over it. And if Brooke owned the men's line and the bedroom line and the big money maker "Belief" then how is it that the forresters was so that she sat in as CEO and fired her very own daughter over a stupid misunderstanding. They kicked Hope out of Forresters and Brooke didn't even fight for her daughter. Brooke just know that Ridge will always put his kids first, and first chance Thomas and Steffie have they will kick you out. They probably planning to kick you over to Logan designs right now.
