DeleteDonna needs to have a private conversation with her Honey 🍯 Bear 🐻 & they need to come to an understanding as a couple. This really has nothing to do with Katie. Eric made an offer & Katie accepted. If Donna doesn't want Eric working, then she needs to talk to him - not Katie.

Not sure about Katie's hair. It is a little too dark,and a drastic change. I'll get use to it. Love her new character that comes with the hair style. Can't wait until the fashion house battles begin. Brooke and Ridge will go ballistic. For once Donna is talking intelligently.
I don’t know, to me Katie came across as very nasty and selfish. Almost greedy. I guess because I’m not used to seeing her in that light, I was taken back by it. She’s always been mostly kind in my opinion. Now it seems like Brooke is more kind than Katie.
DeleteI don’t like the naivete’ that’s going on with Katie and Eric. They are acting like it should be no big deal to Ridge and Brooke. And Ridge is going to be the one who blows a gasket more than Brooke.
DeleteYes, Ridge was a complete ass for kicking Eric out and I said that at the time. But let’s just be honest and admit that they know they are backstabbing the Forrester brand. Especially Katie. What happened to making it all on her own? Taking Eric who has been a prime designer for FC since its inception doesn’t seem like Katie is making it on her own. And she knows it’s true.
That was the old Katie's problem. She was too kind and forgiving to her older sister. With her new hair color comes new attitude.

Katie wanted to prove she could do it on her own but it was Eric that approached her. Is it backstabbing Brooke and Ridge? Yes, but they deserve it, and it makes for a good SL finally.
FC did not make it on their own either. It takes a village to run a fashion house. So, Katie needs to hire staff. I don't see hiring Eric as backstabbing FC. FC put Eric out to pasture. One man's trash is another's treasure. Eric insisted on helping Katie. Eric is teaching the dressmaker & his wife a lesson. Katie is the lucky beneficiary. They know Eric as Logan's lead designer is a big deal to Ridge & Brooke. That is why they are keeping it a secret for now

Lynn, Brooke is your favorite character, so you should be team Brooke. Brooke was really nice to Katie today. I am not either team - I like both Brooke & Katie. I am just enjoying this delicious story line!

DeleteLynn, I agree that with the exception of Donna, they are all behaving crappy. That said, Donna gets the boring story lines lately: wants family peace, wants to take care of her Honey Bear, babysitter, party host at the Forrester mansion, etc - nothing exciting to watch. This story line with 2 fashion houses competing is what the show needed. Much better to try to beat them at their own game than be like Hope & Carter & take over FC. Who knows, FC may beat Logan, or it could be a tie...

DeleteI think that if Katie and Eric genuinely believe they aren’t doing anything wrong, they should have zero issue telling Ridge and Brooke their plan. The fact that they are so desperate to keep it on the down-low proves they know they are being underhanded and sneaky. I definitely don’t like Katie 2.0. And yes, Donna is always Switzerland. They never give her a real SL to sink her teeth into. The new RJ / Will upcoming feud could prove to be interesting as well.

Business is business, they put Eric out to the sharks, Katie knows his worth, unlike his fake son! Brooke is just jealous that Katie was given a fashion house by a man! The only thing ridge ever gave her! It’s a lingerie.to him she belongs in the bedroom! Donna is just afraid of Brooke, once Katie was too ! Keep being the shark Katie, you will succeed. DeleteAnyone saying that all Katie and Eric want is revenge are just wrong. LOGAN was a gift to Katie. She wasn't expecting it but it got her out of Brooke's shadow. She would likely have stayed at FC if she felt appreciated and fulfilled. They filled her job without even consulting her. That's when she knew she was expendable to them. Eric was kicked out of HIS OWN COMPANY by the ungrateful son. Many men end up dying shortly after a forced retirement. For them, its more stressful NOT to work. And they feel that their lives are meaningless. Eric would have stayed at FC if this had not happened. So now, Katie and Eric can work together, find success and happiness elsewhere. Bridge did this to them. So screw them. They can whine and complain all they want. They created all of it. They made their bed and it never crossed their minds that their selfishness may have consequences. They will be livid but maybe it's time for some self-reflection. I hope LOGAN surpasses all expectations. Screw Bridge.
