At least knock the three knuckle-heads together because they are the new 3 stooges. Thomas should be out running people off the road, like he used to when he was a fun guy. How Ridge doesn't scream in their faces "get out and do your own life, " seems like his old-guy droopy teabags need reinflating.
I was getting so mad watching this episode. I am a Brooke fan and I want her and Ridge back together, but I wish she would tell Deacon to go away and not come back. I mean why isn't she using some common sense? Ridge doesn't need to come there and find him there. And she told Deacon how he she feels so he needs to leave her alone. I don't even like him because I know what he's wanted all along and he just keeps throwing himself into her life. He's a jerk. Just let him leave or find a relationship with someone else. Let him be with Sheila. And that Steffy, I would just like to knock her out. And Brookelover 123 I agree about Ridge telling them all to just shut up. You would think he would be going insane listening to the same thing out of Steffy's mouth day after day. She needs to shut up. I am so sick of her saying that her dad is where he belongs. What gives her the right to say anything? Who the hell does she think she is saying alcohol shouldn't be an excuse when she got drunk with Liam and that was part of her excuse? And I will continue to say why was it okay for her to be forgiven when she messed around with a married man and was involved with Finn, but Brooke can't be forgiven? Seriously? And then think back when Steffy was telling Hope that she wanted them all to be friends and a family and look at how she's treating Hope now. She is such a b****. And that Sheila, Thomas needs to think about her little phrase about when the puzzle pieces fall together. Not to mention she told him what she wanted out of the whole thing and you would think he would know better and wouldn't want her in his sister's or anybody else's life. And to listen to her talk about what a wonderful person Taylor was? She shot the woman for God's sake. But now just because Taylor talked Steffy into letting her see Finn and her grandson she's just the greatest person in the world. I just get so angry and wonder why these people don't think about these things. Thomas better tell the truth and if he doesn't it needs to come out somehow. They need to get on with it because this is getting annoying. And in my opinion Taylor doesn't deserve to have Ridge because she shouldn't be involved in this situation the way that she is especially when she's being portrayed as a psychiatrist. It's sickening to me. She tries to act like she's not trying to push anything and so understanding yet look at how she behaves with Ridge. Give me a break.
And speaking about Steffy finding out the truth she only heard a little bit of the conversation and I hope Thomas is smart enough to make something up and not tell her what it's all about. If he does she's only going to tell him to keep quiet. And I don't care what anybody says it's all wrong. The truth should always be told no matter what. Everybody is messing with Ridge and Brooks lives where they shouldn't be. Let the truth come out and let Brooke and Ridge figure it out for themselves without everybody else sticking their noses in. It's just too bad how the Forrester children hate Brooke so much. Them along with their father aren't perfect either and have done their share of things. And all the Brooke haters can continue to say that alcohol was no reason for her to do what she did, but that's just not true. Alcohol does make people act differently. It was a stupid mistake and I'm tired of everybody making it look like her and Deacon had sex or something. Brooke has made her feelings about Ridge perfectly clear to Deacon and he needs to back off. I don't like him because all he's wanted is to go after Brooke. He's a troublemaker. He needs to move on. Brooke needs to wise up and tell him to quit coming to see her. I am a Brooke fan, but I just can't believe that she just doesn't tell him to stay away. She needs to do that knowing how much Ridge does not like him. She doesn't need to be involved in his life because of Hope. She has accepted their relationship and that's all she needs to do. And Taylor, Steffy, and Thomas don't deserve to have Ridge in their lives with the way they're all acting and running their mouths the way they have been. Taylor is being deceiving too because she is trying to act so understanding and caring and we all know what she wants. She shouldn't even be involved in the situation as much as she is which only shows that she's hoping she gets what she wants. So everything going on is all underhanded and it's just not right. Thomas needs to tell the truth and if he doesn't it needs to come out because this is all getting ridiculous.
The alcohol wasn't Brooke's mistake. She had no intention of drinking, she was someone else's target. Sheila's back-burner fixation on Deacon is funny too. If the Forrester family is together again I hope they all live in the cramped little cottage that won't seem ideal for long. It could all blow apart if someone eats Steffi's oreos.
Well Steffy is about 5 mins away from finding out the truth about Sheila and the switched champagne labels…so in ‘B&B time’ about 6 more episodes. Lol So sick of hearing the exact same conversation between Thomas and Sheila. Sheila just couldn’t keep her big mouth shut, so now she’s dealing with the fallout. I hope Deacon’s visit doesn’t turn into another kiss between Brooke and Deacon. I don’t think it will, but if Ridge walks in on them in the same room together it will be enough to confirm his suspicions about them. I like that Ridge is daydreaming about Brooke. Always a good sign for reconciliation. However, I am getting a little sick of everyone fighting over Ridge. He’s not perfect by any stretch. And they treat him like some rockstar that everyone wants more than life itself. Pleeease writers, can you start making Steffy act like a grownup up woman and not a bratty little 10 year old??
Poor poor Brook always messing up. I think she needs to remember how she broke Ridge & Taylor up. She has the Forrestor men. She had both daughters man well I consider one a boy when they had mask on & she thought it was Ridge. Crazy. Then Deacon then her Stallion Bill lol. But as she said Ridge always comes back. I'm hoping he don't go back. Let him & Taylor have their life back. They need to get Thomas with someone. Brooke has something for Deacon let them get together they have a daughter together. Brooke needs to get rid of Deacon. She owes him zilch! Bring back the storyline from several years ago when Eric Forrester was looking in the window at Ridge putting the make on Bridget. That's what caught my eye to start watching. Eric's face discovering them was one of the funniest all time moments of the show. And she was into it! HAHAHA! Ridge really is his own brother and father. What a prize this guy is!

Maddy, you always write out the most well thought out responses. And I always enjoy reading them! You and I definitely agree on many aspects of the show’s characters. Of course she deserves it, Maddy. For everything she did in trying to get Quinn out of Eric's life. Even going as far as pushing her sister onto a very married Eric and getting her fired. That was all on Brooke. So yeah, even if her karma is short-lived, she deserves every bit of what she is going through.
I do agree though that she deserves Ridge. Matter of fact, they deserve each other because Brooke can't seem to stay loyal to Ridge. And as you and many others have pointed out by highlighting Ridge's dalliance with Shawna, he can't seem to be loyal to Brooke either.

Soap fan, Ridge’s behavior with Shawna was what prompted the kiss between Brooke and Bill. Then Ridge proceeds to follow Shawna to Las Vegas and marry her!! LMAO!! Talk about overkill! Just like Ridge is doing now with Taylor, total overkill for him to be having all these cutesy romantic moments with Taylor, AKA his doormat / love struck teenager ex-wife. He doesn’t love Taylor, not even close to the way he loves Brooke. Taylor is soon to be crying the crocodile tears when Ridge goes running back to the love of his life, Brooke. @Lynn i thought Brooke's kiss with is what prompted Ridge to go after Shauna. This was around the time Thomas had decided to Marry Zoe, and Brooke did not believe it. Ridge wanted to support his son, and Brooke hated that. So here comes Bill to the rescue and him and Brooke share frustrations and then a kiss, he tells her he still loves her etc. Eventually Ridge learns about it because there is a video floating around of them kissing and Ridge jets off with Shauna and Katie... well Katie is stuck yet again in this triangle with her sister. Look i agree Brooke and Ridge deserve each other, no one causes the other more grieve than them together. I mean Taylor wasn't in the picture the last few times Ridge and Brooke broke up, cheated, not supported each other and so on... so we know its not Taylor... it's them. They are the issue... each others issue that is.
That's correct, Charmaine. Brooke kissed Bill because Ridge did not want to disown his son. He was being a supportive father and Brooke was having none of it. Along comes Bill and the rest is history.
And if I were to throw Quinn in here, she showed the video because Brooke - unprovoked - showed up at Eric's and Quinn's home and started to bad-mouth Quinn to Eric vowing to end their marriage and get Quinn out of his life. Quinn did nothing to Brooke and she was being a good wife to Eric then, here comes Brooke all sanctimonious like her poop don't smell.
I do not feel sorry for Brooke one bit. Ridge walking away from her was the best thing that could have happened because it is forcing her to take a good look at her disgusting self. She wants to know why she keeps sabotaging her life. She should also think about why she is so meddlesome, sticking her nose in where it doesn't belong.
@ Charmaine and Elle, I actually watch B & B on my iPhone….sometimes not giving the show my full attention. So I am certain I have forgotten details from a year plus ago. You might be correct about the reason Brooke kissed Bill. That could have happened before the Shawna thing started. But what I absolutely do remember is that Thomas was 100% certifiable and lying about everything to everyone. Then came the mannequin debacle. And Brooke warned Ridge over and over again about crazy Thomas. And even though all signs pointed to Brooke being right (and she was by the way!!), Ridge continued to defend Thomas and push Brooke away. It caused a huge rift in their marriage. Let’s not forget about baby Beth being stolen and Thomas keeping the secret. Or the fact that he killed that model by running her off the road to prevent her from telling the truth. Thomas should have been locked up long ago!! And all Brooke was saying was that she didn’t believe Thomas had changed. And she was correct at the time!! So Brooke didn’t just kiss Bill out of the blue. Brooke was pushed away by Ridge not believing her or defending her against crazy Thomas! Thomas’s obsession with Hope was real and dangerous. And Brooke was simply trying to protect her daughter from his unstable ways.
And I remember the Quinn and Shawna thing differently as well. Quinn went into full battle mode to destroy Brooke’s marriage to Ridge. Brooke may not have been a fan of Quinn and may have made some disapproving comments about Quinn. But she certainly did not set a whole plan in motion to destroy Eric’s marriage to Quinn. And that’s exactly what Quinn did to Brooke. It was an elaborate plan to destroy Brooke’s marriage. Those things are not even comparable.
Lynn, it was great hearing you acknowledge how things really went regarding the kiss with Bill, but there was absolutely no need to bring up all of Thomas'dirty deeds in an attempt to make yet another excuse for Brooke's behavior. Instead, you should acknowledge that Brooke has a serious problem that causes her to run to other men whenever she can't get her way. Ridge did not push Brooke away, he was trying to be a supportive father to his son. Brooke pulled away from Ridge and turned to Bill because, for a brief moment, she connected with him because he agreed and supported her stance. And that was wrong, period! On a sub-conscious level, she kissed Deacon because Ridge disappointed her. It has been a pattern with Brooke over the years.
As for Quinn, Brooke walking into her home and telling her husband that she will do whatever it takes to get his wife out of his life and home is a very serious threat. Brooke had no right. Of course Quinn went into full battle mode.
Elle, I completely disagree. Brooke’s behavior in reacting to Ridge disrespecting her wishes (as far as Thomas was concerned) was absolutely putting a strain on her marriage. And yes, she got caught up in the moment and had a momentary lack of judgement. However, I’m so sick of hearing all about the “slut from the valley” comments. Since I have started watching B & B again, for the last 4 years or so, I am not aware of another person that Brooke actually slept with besides Ridge. She has “kissed” Bill (once) and Deacon (once), but some of the people on these threads portray her as nothing but a whore. And I definitely don’t think that constitutes a whore. As I have said, I missed decades of this show and only started watching again for about the last 4 years. So I’m sure I missed a lot. What I do know is that I was a fan of Brooke when I started watching in the late 80’s, and I’m a fan of Brooke now. Maybe because I like to see the underdog succeed. Not sure. But I simply like her character on the show. I think she’s cool and much better for Ridge than Taylor. And of course I will admit I was wrong if someone corrects me on something factual with regard to an old episode. But much of what we talk about is opinion based and there are no clear cut right or wrong answers. One thing we can or at least should agree on is that there are ZERO saints on the show. Well maybe Finn…he’s pretty squeaky clean so far. But like someone mentioned, it’s just a matter of time before the writers take his character to a whole different level and he becomes a cheater too. Lol I think Quinn is obnoxious and I think her scheming to destroy Brooke’s marriage was sinister. I don’t think Brooke’s actions justified what Quinn tried to do to Brooke. I won’t change my opinion on that.

I would love to see just once when all the B&B characters are facing a disaster movie global annihilation event. They all have a "Come to Jesus" moment, and they spill all their secrets and sins to each other. Then the episode ends in a big group hug. But considering this show's wacky history, it would take weeks of episodes for all "the secrets and sins" to come out!
Yeah and the writers like to conveniently change or forget about the history on the show. Some of us who watch the show know more about what's up than the ones writing these days.
Yes! Unknown a "land shark with 5 heads," even. That movie has a shark gobbling up people on land, (and another head eats what one drops) chasing the B&B people HAHAHA. Then just jumps off a cliff to the sea until the next bite. Thge people never seem to notice the do do do do do music in the background when the shark is approaching.
At the start of the show, Deacon overheard Sheila. I am sure he did but decided to keep quiet about it. Maybe he wants to tell Brooke what he's learnt. Then, the show ends with Steffy overhearing Thomas on the phone with Sheila. Seems the truth is about to come out! And it's about darn time cuz I'm sick of hearing Brooke say the same thing over and over. Get it over with already and let's move on to some different characters.
Poor Liam, no man alive has been so involved in his mother-in-laws love screw-up as him. What a waste of a cool character (and actor, he's so likable, so fun). And having his wife talk about this only... I feel bad for all of them - three months in a row the same story 🤦🏻♀️ And steffy please... you've had 2 kids and for none of them it was clear who's the father (your husband, his dad....)... get off your high horse.

Agree! And what happened to Nicole? She was wonderful and much better match for Zende. Never understood what happened there and why they broke up (but also I watch a few weeks a year of the show in recent years because it's gone downhill so much in terms of storyline, characters and dialogues).

Oh, she knew alright. She is just pretending that she does not know to excuse her kissing Deacon. Anyone who drinks, whether they drink a lot or a little, knows when they are beginning to get tipsy so Brooke would have indeed known. But Deacon was there and she wanted an excuse to act like a child while in his company so she continued drinking.

I came back to watch the show, and we are still here. Now the writers have us watching a "victim" version of Brooke. I knew soon enough they would make the switched bottles the star of the show, to give Brooke back her "innocence"... so predictable. Logan fans, don't worry, we are on a "very slow" road back to your beloved Brooke and Ridge destiny story. then we can jump onto other exciting things.
Oh writers let's jump on to the next storyline, this particular one we've all seen 1000 times now. Please and Thank you.
For sure, Ridge loves Brooke but he loves Taylor as well and the more time he spends with her, the greater that love will become.
I am still not convinced that even when the truth comes out, Ridge will automatically return to Brooke. He has said time and time again that it wasn't about her being drunk or even about the kiss. It was about her choosing Deacon over him and about him warning her that Deacon would have been the end of them.

I was hopeful that the writers had decided to stop making Brooke the victim and actually call her out on her BS. We were FINALLY moving in that direction until they decided to highlight the alcohol issue more and that being the cause of her indiscretions. I really am not surprise, this always happens where she is concerned. That's why the Brooke fans ride so hard for her, the writers make it seem like "oh poor Brooke" she doesn't deserve all this ill treatment.
Both you and I know, Charmaine, that Brooke, quite often, makes her own bed then cries foul or finds excuses for why she did what she did. As in this instance, Ridge did not come home for NYE. Or, she doesn't know what led her to drink. What she should acknowledge is the fact that she let Deacon into her home while her husband was not there. It was already late at night. She knows how Ridge felt about Deacon. Why in the world would she think it's okay to open up her house to him knowing how Ridge feels. But then again, she never cared about how Ridge felt. She even told him that "this is my house."
Hey, Brooke had the perfect thing to throw in Ridge's face: "You kissing Bridget was waaay worse than me kissing pervy Deacon." She needs to get on that before she commits further crimes of that nature. What can Ridge say except, "Ok you got me there. Race you home for lunch, I can't face another of Taylor's seaweed and tofu burgers. They don't eat real food over there. That's why the kids failed to launch and butt in to my love life.
@Brookelover123 if this show could make references to the past (and it would if the original actors were there) there would be no better one than Taylor being caught on new years eve kissing Hector. But of course that would require flashbacks which the show now can't afford so it's like the past never happened. That's what makes it so "empty" to me, it's like it's happening in a vacuum of the past years and none of the real good stuff has ever happened.

She needs to do that knowing how much Ridge does not like him. She doesn't need to be involved in his life because of Hope. She has accepted their relationship and that's all she needs to do. And Taylor, Steffy, and Thomas don't deserve to have Ridge in their lives with the way they're all acting and running their mouths the way they have been. Taylor is being deceiving too because she is trying to act so understanding and caring and we all know what she wants. She shouldn't even be involved in the situation as much as she is which only shows that she's hoping she gets what she wants. So everything going on is all underhanded and it's just not right. Thomas needs to tell the truth and if he doesn't it needs to come out because this is all getting ridiculous.

I like that Ridge is daydreaming about Brooke. Always a good sign for reconciliation. However, I am getting a little sick of everyone fighting over Ridge. He’s not perfect by any stretch. And they treat him like some rockstar that everyone wants more than life itself.
Pleeease writers, can you start making Steffy act like a grownup up woman and not a bratty little 10 year old??

DeleteBring back the storyline from several years ago when Eric Forrester was looking in the window at Ridge putting the make on Bridget. That's what caught my eye to start watching. Eric's face discovering them was one of the funniest all time moments of the show. And she was into it! HAHAHA! Ridge really is his own brother and father. What a prize this guy is!

Delete@Lynn i thought Brooke's kiss with is what prompted Ridge to go after Shauna. This was around the time Thomas had decided to Marry Zoe, and Brooke did not believe it. Ridge wanted to support his son, and Brooke hated that. So here comes Bill to the rescue and him and Brooke share frustrations and then a kiss, he tells her he still loves her etc. Eventually Ridge learns about it because there is a video floating around of them kissing and Ridge jets off with Shauna and Katie... well Katie is stuck yet again in this triangle with her sister. Look i agree Brooke and Ridge deserve each other, no one causes the other more grieve than them together. I mean Taylor wasn't in the picture the last few times Ridge and Brooke broke up, cheated, not supported each other and so on... so we know its not Taylor... it's them. They are the issue... each others issue that is.

@ Charmaine and Elle, I actually watch B & B on my iPhone….sometimes not giving the show my full attention. So I am certain I have forgotten details from a year plus ago. You might be correct about the reason Brooke kissed Bill. That could have happened before the Shawna thing started. But what I absolutely do remember is that Thomas was 100% certifiable and lying about everything to everyone. Then came the mannequin debacle. And Brooke warned Ridge over and over again about crazy Thomas. And even though all signs pointed to Brooke being right (and she was by the way!!), Ridge continued to defend Thomas and push Brooke away. It caused a huge rift in their marriage. Let’s not forget about baby Beth being stolen and Thomas keeping the secret. Or the fact that he killed that model by running her off the road to prevent her from telling the truth. Thomas should have been locked up long ago!! And all Brooke was saying was that she didn’t believe Thomas had changed. And she was correct at the time!! So Brooke didn’t just kiss Bill out of the blue. Brooke was pushed away by Ridge not believing her or defending her against crazy Thomas! Thomas’s obsession with Hope was real and dangerous. And Brooke was simply trying to protect her daughter from his unstable ways.

Brooke may not have been a fan of Quinn and may have made some disapproving comments about Quinn. But she certainly did not set a whole plan in motion to destroy Eric’s marriage to Quinn. And that’s exactly what Quinn did to Brooke. It was an elaborate plan to destroy Brooke’s marriage. Those things are not even comparable.

Instead, you should acknowledge that Brooke has a serious problem that causes her to run to other men whenever she can't get her way. Ridge did not push Brooke away, he was trying to be a supportive father to his son. Brooke pulled away from Ridge and turned to Bill because, for a brief moment, she connected with him because he agreed and supported her stance. And that was wrong, period! Elle, I completely disagree. Brooke’s behavior in reacting to Ridge disrespecting her wishes (as far as Thomas was concerned) was absolutely putting a strain on her marriage. And yes, she got caught up in the moment and had a momentary lack of judgement.

Since I have started watching B & B again, for the last 4 years or so, I am not aware of another person that Brooke actually slept with besides Ridge. She has “kissed” Bill (once) and Deacon (once), but some of the people on these threads portray her as nothing but a whore. And I definitely don’t think that constitutes a whore. As I have said, I missed decades of this show and only started watching again for about the last 4 years. So I’m sure I missed a lot. What I do know is that I was a fan of Brooke when I started watching in the late 80’s, and I’m a fan of Brooke now. Maybe because I like to see the underdog succeed. Not sure. But I simply like her character on the show. I think she’s cool and much better for Ridge than Taylor. And of course I will admit I was wrong if someone corrects me on something factual with regard to an old episode. But much of what we talk about is opinion based and there are no clear cut right or wrong answers. One thing we can or at least should agree on is that there are ZERO saints on the show. Well maybe Finn…he’s pretty squeaky clean so far. But like someone mentioned, it’s just a matter of time before the writers take his character to a whole different level and he becomes a cheater too. Lol
I think Quinn is obnoxious and I think her scheming to destroy Brooke’s marriage was sinister. I don’t think Brooke’s actions justified what Quinn tried to do to Brooke. I won’t change my opinion on that.

They all have a "Come to Jesus" moment, and they spill all their secrets and sins to each other. Then the episode ends in a big group hug. But considering this show's wacky history, it would take weeks of episodes for all "the secrets and sins" to come out!

Anyone who drinks, whether they drink a lot or a little, knows when they are beginning to get tipsy so Brooke would have indeed known. I knew soon enough they would make the switched bottles the star of the show, to give Brooke back her "innocence"... so predictable. DeleteI am still not convinced that even when the truth comes out, Ridge will automatically return to Brooke. He has said time and time again that it wasn't about her being drunk or even about the kiss. It was about her choosing Deacon over him and about him warning her that Deacon would have been the end of them.

DeleteI was hopeful that the writers had decided to stop making Brooke the victim and actually call her out on her BS. We were FINALLY moving in that direction until they decided to highlight the alcohol issue more and that being the cause of her indiscretions. I really am not surprise, this always happens where she is concerned. That's why the Brooke fans ride so hard for her, the writers make it seem like "oh poor Brooke" she doesn't deserve all this ill treatment.
Both you and I know, Charmaine, that Brooke, quite often, makes her own bed then cries foul or finds excuses for why she did what she did. As in this instance, Ridge did not come home for NYE. Or, she doesn't know what led her to drink. What she should acknowledge is the fact that she let Deacon into her home while her husband was not there. It was already late at night. She knows how Ridge felt about Deacon. Why in the world would she think it's okay to open up her house to him knowing how Ridge feels. But then again, she never cared about how Ridge felt. She even told him that "this is my house."

Delete@Brookelover123 if this show could make references to the past (and it would if the original actors were there) there would be no better one than Taylor being caught on new years eve kissing Hector. But of course that would require flashbacks which the show now can't afford so it's like the past never happened. That's what makes it so "empty" to me, it's like it's happening in a vacuum of the past years and none of the real good stuff has ever happened.
