Wow. I really hope they're not going to make Finn die. That would be horrible. And I like how I didn't hear Sheila calling 911 in the background. Steffy could have even called as soon as he was shot. What the hell? I actually thought that it would be Finn ending up killing Sheila somehow. I just hope he's not dead. And one thing I like about watching the soap here is that I can fast-forward. That's exactly what I did with Taylor and Ridge. I am so sick of Taylor. She acts like she is so beautiful and so wonderful. Give me a break. She just needs to go back to where she came from. But OMG I hope Finn is going to still be alive. Now it's up to Thomas. And I'm also wondering now, isn't it possible for anybody to hear a gunshot in that alley? Maybe Deacon was there and heard it and will show up. It sucks that we have to wait until Monday now.
Unknown- They a.only showed Steffy dial 91. She hadn't dialed the other 1 yet. Sheila was telling her not to do it while pointing a gun at her. We will have to wait til Monday NIW to see if she pushed that last 1. I just hope they're not going to let Finn die. That would be awful. Steffy isn't my favorite person, but her and Finn were goid together and happy. They deserve to have it continue. Maybe he just passed out. God, I hope so.

I agree Ell, the way ridge and Taylor were talking, I don’t think Finn is going to make it, plus I think , but not sure cause the screen was so dark, but wasn’t his eyes still open when he stopped talking??
Also, I am sad Finn is gone, I really liked him and I think they did not utilise him enough in his time here.. why would they kill off Finn but leave paris on the show?? Again, poor judgment by the writers.. so maybe Sheila shoots steffy too, but she survives but ends up in a coma, and communicates with Finn from the other side, and he helps stay for Hayes?? But I have a feeling that, even though it looks like they killed him off, he might survive? Or come back from the dead, as they always do in soaps.. there will probably be an uproar that the writers killed him off, so they might bring him back and kill off paris instead?

While several of you continue to disparage Taylor, listen. When Ridge asks her if she really believes that Sheila has truly changed, Taylor ultimately responds with, “No but I’d like to. I’m cautious anytime we have interactions. My guard is always up; I promise you that.” Regardless, Taylor is not treating Sheila. The court and mental facilities Sheila has been released from should have some kind of therapy as part of the condition of allowing her in public which would never happen because I think she can be considered a serial killer by now. However, this is a silly soap opera and is not based upon reality. In soapyland the characters feel free to aggressively confront each other on a daily basis, even to those they know are dangerously unhinged.
What a sad ending and Steffy stepped over the line. It seemed so real today. I like Finn's part. He was is a good actor. So we lost him and within months Steffy will be attracted to Liam again.
I wish everybody wouldn't be so quick to believe that Finn is dead. We don't know that yet. I guess I'm hoping that he passed out. Maybe went into a coma. But if that happens I only hope that it will work out okay. Hopefully nothing will go on with Steffy, Hope, and Liam again. Hopefully the way it will all turn out is that Finn will be okay and Sheila will go to jail. I'm not sure what to think about what's going to happen to Finn though. But if anything I think Steffy owes Hope an apology for the way she treated her during this whole Brooke ordeal. I also think that she should say something decent to Brooke for telling Sheila that she would not let her near her family. At least Steffy got to find out that Brooke cared enough about her and her family to say what she did to Sheila. I have all kinds of scenarios running through my head about what could happen with Sheila. Maybe Deacon will come out and something will happen where he will either get the gun away from Sheila or they'll be a struggle and she will end up being the one dead. Or maybe something will happen and Thomas will show up. I hate doing all those wondering and knowing that I have to wait to see what happens.
Deacon coming to Steffy's rescue is a plausible scenario, Maddy. The gun had a silencer on it so noone would have heard the shot but maybe Deacon could just happen to be taking out the trash and walk right into the middle of Sheila about to shoot Steffy.
This is on Steffy, not to victimblame, but she should have gone to anyone else, but Sheila. If she thinks Shiela is such a nutjob, a serious crazy person, why the hell do you interact with that person, alone, in an ally? If I was Steffy, I would have talked to Thomas first, and then we would have told Ridge, Taylor and Brooke, together...without Shiela knowing about it. And then the Police.
Anyone with half a brain would have stayed away from Shiela and not confronted her alone.
I would not want to see Steffy talking to all those people about so stupid a subject. No talking to all those people and no meeting her in a dark alley- go into the restaurant and stick her for an expensive lunch. Order expensive wine and say "let's split it," like my former friends did.
I understand why Steffy went to confront Sheila even though I don't agree with it. She just overheard her brother on the phone replaying everything that Sheila did and accusing Sheila of doing it just to make inroads with their family. This is the ammunition Steffy had been waiting for to prove to Finn that Sheila hasn't changed. So of course, she went straight to Finn to let him know and then to Sheila to confront her and let her know that she will never be a part of their family. It was reckless. But then again, Steffy has never been known to be the person who just sits on the sidelines and waits for someone else to act.
Yeah, Finn is the only decent person on the show, and they think it's good to kill him off, so they can keep their rotten incestual storylines. I truly hope that Shiela thinks she killed Finn, and then shoots herself in the head, OR that she finally gets a realitycheck and agrees to be put in a mental institution/prison for LIFE. Then we can get an end to her terror. And I ofc hope that Finn just ends up in a coma. If Shiela shoots Steffy as well, maybe both her and Finn will be in a coma together, in the same room, while she has her Real Life pregnancy. And when she is ready to come back to B&B, she wakes up. Maybe Finn wakes up before her and sits by her bedside. I truly hope he isn't dead...

Yeah, I am pretty sure he died, I think his eyes were slightly open when he actually stopped breathing, and usually blood coming from the mouth indicates major internal bleeding, so I think he is gone.. such a shame, I really liked his character.. steffy really should not have poked the crocodile as we say in the land of the rising sun!! Especially after shiela threw her up against the dumpster.. she should have just kept going back into the restaurant.. u don’t provoke people as psycho as Sheila.. but it’s a soap!! So sad for Finn though.. there could have been great things if they kept him on.. or at least made it so he had the opportunity to come back..

Steffy THINKS she's better than Brooke, but she's exactly the same about her being alone prowl. Liam is an easy target because Hope is easy to bully and Liam does whatever he's told by whomever is yelling at him at the moment. They are all easy to confuse- (the core women,) about who is at fault on an issue and who has to back off. They fall for idiotic logic by a competitor then regret their backoff like Brooke right now, about Ridge.
Elle, you could be right again! Brooke keeps saying that there is a force against her. A dream would have given her the answer... Also, Finn just leaving his hospital shift like that was out of character.

One would think that the waiter from yesterday who was watching and listening , would have known something was wrong when steffy chased Sheila into the alley?? He heard what Sheila said just before steffy got there, and he was intently watching and listening, then he would have seen Finn in his doctor jacket run out to the alley, so why did he not know something was really wrong.. then add to that, the sound of a gun going off , which he would definately heard, and steffy screaming at Finn??
I think maybe deacon will come to the rescue, and stop Sheila shooting steffy as well, and then ridge will have to swallow his pride and thank him for saving her life??

I believe that the purpose for the waiter looking at Sheila was to show that she is becoming unhinged.
Deacon saving Steffy will certainly change the way Ridge sees him. Maybe this will be the story arc that allows for Deacon and Brooke to get together while Ridge spends time with his family to heal.
Ridge would find a way to blame Deacon for not stopping or preventing Sheila from shooting anyone. He'll say Deacon was eating potato chips and watching cartoons in his mop-room hovel.
I think Deacon will appear - too late but will somehow be there. Why else would they have this new set of the alley behind Il Giardino? Sheila might slink off leaving the other two in the wake of her terror. Then she can play the grieving mother. Someone will suspect her, Thomas, Deacon, Ridge, the waiter, etc., and put her out of her misery and then we will have Finn and Sheila’s murder mysteries to deal with for the next year.
And if Finn does die, Mayb she will shoot steffy and she goes into a coma, and before anyone can put two and two together, Sheila will kidnap Hayes because he is all she will have left after killing Finn.. because taylor mentioned that her and Sheila share a grandson, then Mayb that’s how it will go down??
Finn's a goner. That sucks, but he had no chemistry with Steffi. I kept thinking somewhere down the road though he could hook up with someone else on the show, but alas he is dead. I kept hoping Steffi would get shot too, just because that would really shake things up. Fin was hardly on the show anymore anyway.we know he's dead because of all the sappy shit Taylor and Ridge we're saying about him and Steffi and their perfect life. The writing was on the wall for Finn. Steffi will leave for a while to mourn her loss, and return after her maternity leave. Sheila will definitely escape, with or without Hayes.
When they do a memorial for Finn, will they show him do liberty-bibberity and other flubbed lines? -OR- Copy the commercial bit with him doing his B&B lines out of sync?

Finn won't die , he will now know what his mother is all about and have her committed in a hospital only to visit her to see how she may or may not improve mentally with Taylor being her doctor lol. Sheila will find a way to escape the hospital and try to kill Steffy. Or she will wipe the prints off the gun and make steffy hold the gun and Deacon comes around the corner only to see Finn lying there and Steffy holding the gun. Finn will be in a coma and wake up thinking his wife shot him.
Finally some shakeup after 3 months of collective whining for literally nothing - a measly kiss. Please bring back the good writing, the dialogues, the sets. The show was so good until late 2010s. Bring back the thrill, the dynamic.
PS one of the worst things about Sheila isn't even that she shot her son, but that she threatens Steffy if she calls 911. She'd rather get away with murdering her son than give him a chance of being saved. Finn was yet another character with potential that the lazy talentless writers wasted.

Also probably means that Sheila is gonna get aways with it, at least for a few months and we will be tortured with Thomas struggling with telling the truth for episodes on end, Steffy giving Ridge and Taylor something to cry about and bring them closer together, getting married YET again, till the truth comes out in august or so, when he runs back to Brooke :P
Cell phone records could help with the investigation but Finn should have called his birth mom when Steffy didn’t answer which may have snapped Sheila back to reality for a moment but this is the writers way of offing a character whose contract was not renewed. Btw, when is Paris’ contract up?
Ridge doesn't have to wait at all to run back to Brooke. It was all Sheila's fault, ALL SHEILA'S FAULT. Ridge will hold on to that for dear life to get out of the cramped cottage guest room. Brooke is absolved and he can go back. No harm no foul. He can skip over on the yellow "BROOKE" road. Ridge thinks, "Swapping spit," with deacon was Sheila's fault yay! yay! yay! I dodged the bored to death bullit with Taylor! Ha Ha Ha. Ridge would state he was giving them space! Joyfully muttering "I'm otta here, I'm outta here!"
Book, it isn’t about the kids! Ridge begged Brooke to be honest, he literally said he would forgive her anything if she just told him the truth!!! BROOKE chose to keep lying and to pressure Douglas to hide what he saw and worse, Liam and Hope went along with making Douglas keep Brooke’s dirty secret!!!

Sheila cares only about herself.. in the beginning when she first arrived most of her conversations with herself were that he married into the forrester family and that she is finally art of the forrester family.. so now she killed her main link to the forresters, I think she thinks that, now he is gone, it’s steffies fault and she will kidnap Hayes because he is the only one she has left now..
Mayb she will take steffy hostage to go and get Hayes?? Then they end up in a struggle where steffy gets shot and ends up in a coma? So many ways this can go?
One other theory, maybe ridges heartbreaking request to steffy, might be, to leave town with Hayes, where Sheila can’t find them, while Finn is in a coma, and steffy has a hard time deciding wether to risk Sheila kidnapping Hayes and stay by Finn’s bedside, or leave with Hayes so Sheila won’t know where they are.. and ridge will go with them to keep them safe?? Because if Finn doesn’t die, they will have to do something with him while steffy is on maternity leave.. and someone said he is working on another show right now?? And TK is also going on an extended leave break, all at the same time, so to accomodate the leave of all 3?of them, that scenario could cover the whole 3 of them while they are on leave?? And Bridget will only be back temporarily, so she could be the fill in for Finn while he is in a coma?? Just a thought?

Good scenario, Colly but I think your previous scenario about Steffy being in a coma is more likely based on the spoilers. Heartbreaking request could mean that Steffy is in a coma and her prognosis does not look good so Ridge is probably begging her to not leave them or to fight for her family.
Also, there is a SPOILER (plesae do not continue reading if you do not want to know) that says that Hope recounts all the ways that Steffy has contributed to her life (or something along those lines). This tells me that Steffy is probably in a bad way as I highly doubt Hope will be speaking to Steffy face to face about such things.
I could be wrong but I think Steffy may definitely be in a coma.
I agree with you, Elle. Perhaps Ridge takes Steffy to Zürich to undergo special treatment while she’s in a coma but if she’s only gone months and he’s gone for a year, how will the show will explain her return and not his?
This may have been said somewhere already, but there are over 100 comments that I cannot scroll through. Especially with many of them being novels. So I will say this :
I DON'T BELIEVE THAT FINN IS DEAD. Nowhere I read is there anything about the actor leaving. I think he will still be alive, or resurrected.come Monday. I could be wrong, bit I think he's alive.
I really loved Finn. Great love interest for Steffy to finally move on from Liam. Buttt; I feel Finn would have been better matched with Hope. ( I know, I know ), but it’s just my opinion. It is a great way for JMW to leave for maternity leave though.
Finns adoptive mother Li is a well respected surgeon, I think she might operate on him and save his life, and in the meantime ridge takes steffy and Hayes away in hiding to protect them from Sheila.. and Finn will b in a coma until JMW returns from maternity leave.. just a theory.. his real mum kills him and his adoptive mum saves him??

While several of you continue to disparage Taylor, listen. When Ridge asks her if she really believes that Sheila has truly changed, Taylor ultimately responds with, “No but I’d like to. I’m cautious anytime we have interactions. My guard is always up; I promise you that.” Regardless, Taylor is not treating Sheila. The court and mental facilities Sheila has been released from should have some kind of therapy as part of the condition of allowing her in public which would never happen because I think she can be considered a serial killer by now. However, this is a silly soap opera and is not based upon reality. In soapyland the characters feel free to aggressively confront each other on a daily basis, even to those they know are dangerously unhinged.

ReplyDeleteIt seemed so real today. I like Finn's part. He was is a good actor. So we lost him and within months Steffy will be attracted to Liam again.
Within months Steffy will be attracted to Liam? Try a week and a half. If she wasn't pregnant and going on leave, it would be Monday.
DeleteI wish everybody wouldn't be so quick to believe that Finn is dead. We don't know that yet. I guess I'm hoping that he passed out. Maybe went into a coma. But if that happens I only hope that it will work out okay. Hopefully nothing will go on with Steffy, Hope, and Liam again. Hopefully the way it will all turn out is that Finn will be okay and Sheila will go to jail. I'm not sure what to think about what's going to happen to Finn though. But if anything I think Steffy owes Hope an apology for the way she treated her during this whole Brooke ordeal. I also think that she should say something decent to Brooke for telling Sheila that she would not let her near her family. At least Steffy got to find out that Brooke cared enough about her and her family to say what she did to Sheila. I have all kinds of scenarios running through my head about what could happen with Sheila. Maybe Deacon will come out and something will happen where he will either get the gun away from Sheila or they'll be a struggle and she will end up being the one dead. Or maybe something will happen and Thomas will show up. I hate doing all those wondering and knowing that I have to wait to see what happens.
DeleteDeacon coming to Steffy's rescue is a plausible scenario, Maddy. The gun had a silencer on it so noone would have heard the shot but maybe Deacon could just happen to be taking out the trash and walk right into the middle of Sheila about to shoot Steffy.

She just overheard her brother on the phone replaying everything that Sheila did and accusing Sheila of doing it just to make inroads with their family. This is the ammunition Steffy had been waiting for to prove to Finn that Sheila hasn't changed. So of course, she went straight to Finn to let him know and then to Sheila to confront her and let her know that she will never be a part of their family. It was reckless. But then again, Steffy has never been known to be the person who just sits on the sidelines and waits for someone else to act.

I truly hope that Shiela thinks she killed Finn, and then shoots herself in the head, OR that she finally gets a realitycheck and agrees to be put in a mental institution/prison for LIFE. Then we can get an end to her terror. And I ofc hope that Finn just ends up in a coma. If Shiela shoots Steffy as well, maybe both her and Finn will be in a coma together, in the same room, while she has her Real Life pregnancy. And when she is ready to come back to B&B, she wakes up. Maybe Finn wakes up before her and sits by her bedside. I truly hope he isn't dead...

DeleteYeah, I am pretty sure he died, I think his eyes were slightly open when he actually stopped breathing, and usually blood coming from the mouth indicates major internal bleeding, so I think he is gone.. such a shame, I really liked his character.. steffy really should not have poked the crocodile as we say in the land of the rising sun!! Especially after shiela threw her up against the dumpster.. she should have just kept going back into the restaurant.. u don’t provoke people as psycho as Sheila.. but it’s a soap!! So sad for Finn though.. there could have been great things if they kept him on.. or at least made it so he had the opportunity to come back..

But then, it's a soap opera and people come back from the dead, so maybe Finn isn't actually dead. Maybe he just passed out in shock due to the major blood loss. Liam is an easy target because Hope is easy to bully and Liam does whatever he's told by whomever is yelling at him at the moment. They are all easy to confuse- (the core women,) about who is at fault on an issue and who has to back off. They fall for idiotic logic by a competitor then regret their backoff like Brooke right now, about Ridge.

He heard what Sheila said just before steffy got there, and he was intently watching and listening, then he would have seen Finn in his doctor jacket run out to the alley, so why did he not know something was really wrong.. then add to that, the sound of a gun going off , which he would definately heard, and steffy screaming at Finn??

Deacon saving Steffy will certainly change the way Ridge sees him. Maybe this will be the story arc that allows for Deacon and Brooke to get together while Ridge spends time with his family to heal.
Ridge would find a way to blame Deacon for not stopping or preventing Sheila from shooting anyone. He'll say Deacon was eating potato chips and watching cartoons in his mop-room hovel.
DeleteI think Deacon will appear - too late but will somehow be there. Why else would they have this new set of the alley behind Il Giardino? Sheila might slink off leaving the other two in the wake of her terror. Then she can play the grieving mother. Someone will suspect her, Thomas, Deacon, Ridge, the waiter, etc., and put her out of her misery and then we will have Finn and Sheila’s murder mysteries to deal with for the next year.

I kept hoping Steffi would get shot too, just because that would really shake things up. Fin was hardly on the show anymore anyway.we know he's dead because of all the sappy shit Taylor and Ridge we're saying about him and Steffi and their perfect life. The writing was on the wall for Finn. Steffi will leave for a while to mourn her loss, and return after her maternity leave. Sheila will definitely escape, with or without Hayes.

Or she will wipe the prints off the gun and make steffy hold the gun and Deacon comes around the corner only to see Finn lying there and Steffy holding the gun. Finn will be in a coma and wake up thinking his wife shot him.

DeleteRidge doesn't have to wait at all to run back to Brooke. It was all Sheila's fault, ALL SHEILA'S FAULT. Ridge will hold on to that for dear life to get out of the cramped cottage guest room. Brooke is absolved and he can go back. No harm no foul. He can skip over on the yellow "BROOKE" road. Ridge thinks, "Swapping spit," with deacon was Sheila's fault yay! yay! yay! I dodged the bored to death bullit with Taylor! Ha Ha Ha. Ridge would state he was giving them space! Joyfully muttering "I'm otta here, I'm outta here!"

ReplyDeleteOne other theory, maybe ridges heartbreaking request to steffy, might be, to leave town with Hayes, where Sheila can’t find them, while Finn is in a coma, and steffy has a hard time deciding wether to risk Sheila kidnapping Hayes and stay by Finn’s bedside, or leave with Hayes so Sheila won’t know where they are.. and ridge will go with them to keep them safe?? Because if Finn doesn’t die, they will have to do something with him while steffy is on maternity leave.. and someone said he is working on another show right now?? And TK is also going on an extended leave break, all at the same time, so to accomodate the leave of all 3?of them, that scenario could cover the whole 3 of them while they are on leave?? And Bridget will only be back temporarily, so she could be the fill in for Finn while he is in a coma?? Just a thought?

Heartbreaking request could mean that Steffy is in a coma and her prognosis does not look good so Ridge is probably begging her to not leave them or to fight for her family.
DeleteAlso, there is a SPOILER (plesae do not continue reading if you do not want to know) that says that Hope recounts all the ways that Steffy has contributed to her life (or something along those lines). This tells me that Steffy is probably in a bad way as I highly doubt Hope will be speaking to Steffy face to face about such things.
I could be wrong but I think Steffy may definitely be in a coma.
I agree with you, Elle. Perhaps Ridge takes Steffy to Zürich to undergo special treatment while she’s in a coma but if she’s only gone months and he’s gone for a year, how will the show will explain her return and not his?
