Also, Ridge kissed Taylor in Monaco and cannot stop thinking about it. This was before the Hope/Douglas/Thomas issue. It seems his heart is not fully with Brooke and has not been for some time.
Can you blame him though? The incident with Brooke and Deacon affected him quite severely. Maybe he is finding it difficult to return to how things used to be with Brooke. Add to that, Taylor is back and he is being reminded of how things used to be between them.

ashrpblond is right. Taylor cannot compare to Brooke who purposely destroyed marriages in order to satiate her own selfish desires. She also carried on lengthy love affairs with married men. Taylor has NEVER done any of that so it cannot be said that Taylor is absolutely no better than Brooke.
You need to update the browser to the latest version. Or you need to install another browser. There is no such problem in Google Chrome latest version. This is definitely due to an outdated version of the browser, because the same thing happens on my old TV, but there are no problems on the new one.
Steffy and Taylor act like this was the first time that Ridge had kissed Taylor while Ridge has kissed Taylor quite a few times. Ridge also kept the other kisses from Brooke after throwing such a tantrum about the one drunken kiss that Brooke had with Deacon. Steffy puts Brooke down and calls her a hypocrite while Steffy herself had to have paternity test for both of her kids. One of those test was because she slept with her father-in-law and the other because she had drunken sex with a married Liam. How would Steffy like it if Liam asked for full custody of Kelly? How would Taylor like it?
I think that Thomas and hope should start with a week rotating to give Douglas a transition period and then let douglas decide where he wants to live full time.. can’t beleive deacon couldn’t tell that was Sheila?? How does she have money, they apparently found her licence etc at the camp ground, which was surprising in itself.. when she went to prison I don’t think they gave it back to her?? Brooke is right, they don’t let a child Douglas’ age decide which parent he wants to live with. That could happen with older kids, but not someone Douglas’ age. The court would most likely let it transition to 50 / 50 custody once Thomas passed a psychological evaluation that determines his “mental fitness”. Those evaluations exist in the real world. And there’s no reason they couldn’t work that into the plot. But that would be too easy. So here’s what’s most likely to happen….Hope is gonna cave and give Douglas back to Thomas full time, and Thomas is going to prove once again to be a train-wreck of a dad. And in case any of you Thomas lovers have any delusions of how that’s gonna go….I will be one of the first in line with the “I Told You So’s!!!!!” 😂😂😂😂😂

Please mommy, make it stop.. and hope , you may not have heard him ask to live with his father before, but he has asked his father that in the past on more than one occasion.. I agree, it should be Douglas’s decision, and he is old enough to make that decision.. I think hope knows that, and I think she knows if given the choice, he would want to, and that’s why she doesn’t want Douglas to hear anything.. but I think a transition period needs to happen to help both Douglas and hope adjust..
Colly since you don’t live in the US, you don’t appear to be familiar with our laws. A child doesn’t get to call the shots on who they want to live with until they are 14 years old. And Douglas is nowhere near 14. Although the new Douglas appears much older than the previous actor. I’m guessing Douglas is supposed to be approx 10 now. And if that’s the case, Hope has had physical custody for much longer than a year. It’s been a few years in Soap time it seems. In any event, a 10 year old in the US DOES NOT GET TO DECIDE which parent he wants to live with. .
He is indeed old enough to make that decision. If a judge wants to speak with him and asks him who he wants to live with and why, the judge will certainly take the wishes of the child into consideration when making his/her decision. This has been done before so it's not like Douglas' wishes do not count at all.
Funny that people are making fun of Hope for asking for Brooke’s help with Ridge. At least that’s the proper way of doing things….kids ask their parents for guidance and help. And I don’t care how long you’ve watched the show. People with long show watching history seem to recall Taylor doing the exact same things that you accuse Brooke of doing. Deleteashrpblond is right. Taylor cannot compare to Brooke who purposely destroyed marriages in order to satiate her own selfish desires. She also carried on lengthy love affairs with married men. Taylor has NEVER done any of that so it cannot be said that Taylor is absolutely no better than Brooke.

ReplyDeleteYou need to update the browser to the latest version. Or you need to install another browser. There is no such problem in Google Chrome latest version. This is definitely due to an outdated version of the browser, because the same thing happens on my old TV, but there are no problems on the new one.

ReplyDeleteSteffy and Taylor act like this was the first time that Ridge had kissed Taylor while Ridge has kissed Taylor quite a few times. Ridge also kept the other kisses from Brooke after throwing such a tantrum about the one drunken kiss that Brooke had with Deacon. Steffy puts Brooke down and calls her a hypocrite while Steffy herself had to have paternity test for both of her kids. One of those test was because she slept with her father-in-law and the other because she had drunken sex with a married Liam. How would Steffy like it if Liam asked for full custody of Kelly? How would Taylor like it?
ReplyDeleteI think that Thomas and hope should start with a week rotating to give Douglas a transition period and then let douglas decide where he wants to live full time.. can’t beleive deacon couldn’t tell that was Sheila?? How does she have money, they apparently found her licence etc at the camp ground, which was surprising in itself.. when she went to prison I don’t think they gave it back to her?? Writers r so lazy.. so stupid…

ReplyDeleteBrooke is right, they don’t let a child Douglas’ age decide which parent he wants to live with. That could happen with older kids, but not someone Douglas’ age. The court would most likely let it transition to 50 / 50 custody once Thomas passed a psychological evaluation that determines his “mental fitness”. Those evaluations exist in the real world. And there’s no reason they couldn’t work that into the plot.

So here’s what’s most likely to happen….Hope is gonna cave and give Douglas back to Thomas full time, and Thomas is going to prove once again to be a train-wreck of a dad. And in case any of you Thomas lovers have any delusions of how that’s gonna go….I will be one of the first in line with the “I Told You So’s!!!!!” 😂😂😂😂😂
Hope to brook- so did you talk to ridge ?? Please mommy, make it stop.. and hope , you may not have heard him ask to live with his father before, but he has asked his father that in the past on more than one occasion.. I agree, it should be Douglas’s decision, and he is old enough to make that decision.. I think hope knows that, and I think she knows if given the choice, he would want to, and that’s why she doesn’t want Douglas to hear anything.. but I think a transition period needs to happen to help both Douglas and hope adjust..

DeleteColly since you don’t live in the US, you don’t appear to be familiar with our laws. A child doesn’t get to call the shots on who they want to live with until they are 14 years old. And Douglas is nowhere near 14. Although the new Douglas appears much older than the previous actor. I’m guessing Douglas is supposed to be approx 10 now. And if that’s the case, Hope has had physical custody for much longer than a year. It’s been a few years in Soap time it seems. In any event, a 10 year old in the US DOES NOT GET TO DECIDE which parent he wants to live with. .

If a judge wants to speak with him and asks him who he wants to live with and why, the judge will certainly take the wishes of the child into consideration when making his/her decision. This has been done before so it's not like Douglas' wishes do not count at all.
