Ridge's comment in front of Hope regarding "what woman would want to be with Deacon?" (or something similar) was rude. Hope had no control over who fathered her & like most children she loves her Dad (regardless of his past). So, it is probably hurtful to her to hear Ridge speak that way about her Dad. That comment also insulted Brooke & by the look on her face, she wasn't pleased with Ridge's remark.
I agree Renee. But what did happen to Flo. When I started watching there was so much going on but Wyatt and Flo disappeared. I could have missed a few shows.
Flo & Wyatt disappeared during COVID when the show was using only a few actors. There never was any explanation given for their absence. They have re-introduced Wyatt by having him meet up with Liam & Bill. I don't believe Flo has even been mentioned. No one, not even Quinn, has said anything about Shauna, although, I believe she is shown on the opening credits.
Yeah. Exactly why I say he is the worst hypocrite. The only thing he has over Deacon is money, but he still has no class at all. He's a big bratty baby who has to throw a temper tantrum when he doesn't get his way or isn't the center of everyone's attention. I so wish he'd be left out in the cold with no one fighting over him and vying for his affection.

He leaves a party huggin and touching and making googly eyes with Taylor to rush over to Deacon to tell him to stay away from his wife, then to further tell him how horrible a father he has been all the while defending his horrible son as a father. The only reason Thomas isn't an ex con is because he's gotten away with every horrible crime he's ever committed, probably more than Deacon! Even Quinn who tried to murder Deacon and actually murdered that jeweler gets a pass for all her crimes. I guess only designers get forgiveness from Ridge and the Forresters.
However Carter and Quinn are wonderful together, so refreshing. So sad that she's (good Quinn) leaving the show :(.
What is that background video that keeps playing. I've noticed it for several weeks. It starts with "halloo, halloo" then maybe hello, etc. I refresh the page, sometimes 2 or 3 times before it goes away. It's very irritating, and makes me wonder what background nasties might be sneaking into my computer.
Ridge asked what kind of woman would want to be with Deacon, Hope and Brooke should have asked Ridge what kind of man would want to be with Taylor, a woman that would shoot a man in the back and leave him for dead. Ridge brings up Deacon and Sheila friendship but gives Taylor a free pass for being besties with Sheila and bringing Sheila into Steffy's house and Steffy's hospital room. He says nothing to Taylor about bonding with Sheila over their hatred of Brooke. Ridge is the most pompous hypocrite on the show. I am going to miss the actress that plays Quinn. The show is losing a very talented actress, one of the best on the show. I have not always liked the character, but I enjoy the talent of the actress playing her.
Brooke needs to tell Ridge to get out and don`t come back! One set of rules for his son and an entirely different set for Brooke and her daughter! Ridge has become a judgemental, two faced hypocrite. If I were Hope I would be livid with him for talking about her father in that way, she needs to tell him to shut up or she will tell him some home truths about his cheating self and his murdering,child abusing,son. You want to shine and you want to be the best that that character can be and sometimes that’s the heartbreak that I've always experienced with daytime, is you know you want that character to be something more than kind of what the people who run it see that character as. So I didn’t really want to spend anymore years waiting for me to to get into my son’s [Wyatt, Darin Brooks] love life or accuse Brooke [Katherine Kelly Lang] of being a terrible persona again.
Sofer said her contract expired in May, and she didn't really hear from anyone about that until the last week of shooting before B&B went on hiatus in July. She added:
And then on the week before my last shooting week is when they reached out to me (IS A WORD MISSING HERE?) said, 'Hey, we don’t really know what’s going on with Quinn, but can you stay on on a recurring basis until we figure it out?' And I just felt like if my decision wasn’t set at that point, that kind of made it clear, that they just didn't know what to do with Quinn, and I felt like I deserved more than just sitting around until they figured it out. Especially at the end of the whole 'Quarter' story; there was still so much to do, you know. I still wasn’t divorced from Eric [John McCook], and Donna [Jennifer Gareis] was still in the mix of that, and so I just felt like it was time to go. So I told them I was leaving and [showrunner] Brad [Bell] called me and he really wanted me to stay and I really appreciated that he wanted me to stay.
So they wanted to drop her to recurring? I think they did not expect Quarter to be such a hit with the fans so they didn't have a long term plan for Quarter.
But Rena is right. There was still a lot that could have been done with her, Carter, Eric and Donna. It's quite unfortunate they didn't have the vision for it. I still hope that something can be worked out and she can return.
So, I guess Quinn is just gonna disappear from the canvas. Always out of town, out of the country or working remotely. How anti-climactic
