Today's scene was written kind of awkward. Brooke arrives on the property unbeknownst to Ridge, Taylor, & Steffy. Suddenly, Taylor needs to go upstairs & Steffy follows with no explanation. Ridge puts on his jacket & steps outside. Surprise, his "Logan" is there yet he really didn't seem that surprised. Time for that difficult "we are done" conversation with his "destiny". Really stupid not to have that talk with Brooke before going to Aspen.
First of all Bill TY. I am sooooo happy to see this seen today. Finally after so many years Ridge is back with Taylor. It was about time to put things into order again. Now Ridge just needs to want a divorce unless Brooke spoils it all again. Did you see sexy Donna how she remained bad for Queen Brooke?? They are all disgusting and Eric should shut his big mouth and wash it with soap.
i 100 percent agree with you todays episode was great. i think i sat and smiled the whole half hour. and yeah i can't believe the way eric and donna acted toward thomas and the idea that ridge is with taylor. don't worry donna she may come after eric after this is over just sayin
How humiliating for Brooke, I would not have gone there.. She knew why he went.. Did she really think she was going to b able to stop it?? They brought the app into it today, so it’s going to come out soon??
I have not been rooting for this Tridge reunion however, I must admit, it felt good seeing them together again. I remembered how they were torn apart and how devastated Ridge was when he thought she had died. It felt like everything was back on track again. I hope it lasts.
Regarding the exchange with Thomas, Eric and Donna, Thomas held nothing back. Lol! Donna was aghast at the things he was saying. I totally enjoyed it. And Eric has drawn the line in the sand and stepped over to Brooke's side. Not surprising one bit!
@Colly It seems Thomas knew about the app. I am really hoping he had nothing to do with the CPS call however, that mischievous grin he gave when he informed Eric and Donna that Brooke is no longer relevant, gave me a bad feeling.
Elle that was the first thing I picked up on. How long did Thomas know about the app? We all thought it was just Eric. I really, really hope he didn't have anything do it. We'll probably have to wait until Friday to see how it plays out.

I did notice that grin Elle, I really really hope it wasn’t him.. but he didn’t give off any bad vibes when Douglas was using it, both before and after Donna and Eric walked in?? But it was that grin that got me worried.. And I am peeved at Eric, he should be supporting his son and grandkids.. But of course, bell has to make it about Brooke..? I could understand Eric warning Thomas not to get his hopes up, but to say, “I am a big champion of Ridge and Brooke, in other words, he is going to support Brooke rather than Ridge, Thomas and Steffy.. He fell in love with Taylor again, and he was not forced or tricked.. it started with Deacon, and the lies and manipulations, then moved onto her conspiracy theories about Thomas and again lying and manipulating then threats against his son.. So, she has no one to blame but herself.. He clearly loves Taylor..
It's so funny when people keep saying he didn't "recommit" to her 😂 he is married to her, what's there to recommit to? He was going home to her, he slept in the same bed with her. How do you even know what was happening there? He never said he was only returning to her for her ankle, that was crazy Steffy and Thomas wishful thinking. He said to her "of course I love you more than anything" after Brooke said to he loves Taylor too. Of course he's shown having feelings for Taylor and laughing with her. The plot had to go that way. But if it wasn't for this cps thing he wouldn't have had this "revelation". Once again, for the 4th time he goes to Taylor because of someone's machinations. You can't trick them, but if they love that person, they wouldn't HAVE to be tricked, they wouldn't need any other trigger than that love to go to that person. If they do, would they run right back away like he did time and again after all the manipulations before were revealed? I'm too wondering if Brooke haters are watching indeed or so much blind by hate they only see what they want to see and not the YEARS and years story that has been going on. I am ready to admit what she's done wrong, but some of you people only see what you want to.
@M Very few of us on here are able to objectively look at the show and see all the parts that make the whole. Colly is right. Ridge did not just devote himself to Taylor because of the CPS call and anyone thinking that just does not want to admit that Ridge could actually choose Taylor over Brooke. However, you are also right in that, the CPS call could be a set up which played a part in Ridge's decision.
The thing is though, as I stated previously, the machination regarding the CPS call did not catapult Ridge to Aspen and to Taylor. We saw Ridge wanting not to believe that Brooke did it and even after the recording was played and he spoke to Brooke and believed that she did it, he still did not rush off to Aspen. He was still deliberating about both Taylor and Brooke. So to say that this is just another manipulation to get Ridge and Taylor together is, in effect, saying that the CPS call is what made Ridge choose Taylor. And that is not true.
Besides, we still do not know the full story behind the call. It could be that Brooke did, in fact, make the call.
Where was the shocking sight that Brooke was supposedly going to confront when she arrived in Aspen? On another note, I'm so glad the original(ish) Douglas is back! He's so much better.

It would be interesting to find out why he would do it - to get back to Hope's (unlikely, he loves it at Eric's), to get Ridge and Taylor back together (I don't think he cares that much plus unlikely that he understands the correlation between CPS and Ridge breaking up the marriage) or just to play (boooring).
Douglas has always wanted his mom and dad together. Having the opportunity to tell CPS himself that he loves living with his dad will, in turn, cause Hope to have to come to the mansion to spend time with them rather than her and Liam taking him away back to the cabin. Everything that is playing out now with Hope spending nights over at Eric's is exactly what Douglas stood to gain if he was the one that made the call.
Yes, true Ell.. I think he overheard Brooke and Thomas, and the things she said to him about not being a good influence on Douglas, and the concern about the knife, and he used the opportunity to record her voice.. He has said many times why can’t they be a family.. I don’t think he cares much for Liam or living in the cabin for that matter.. And he is a smart kid.. he might have thought if he calls them, then Brooke can’t do anything about making him go back to Hopes.. The way he handled the CPS officers, especially when they asked if he felt safe, surprised me.. it’s too obvious to be either Thomas or Brooke!!

this storyline is so predictable.for once i wished the writers gave another twist to the whole romance between brooke and ridge and seperate them for good this time.that brooke was the one who made the call .and once again thomas is the bad guy i feel like they wanna write thomas like sheila but in sheila character you wanted to see her go down in thomas not so much also imagine this if a woman came to take your kid away and the kid was raised by a man you hate liam in this situation would you accept it? but bell always favors the logans i remember i watched an ep from the early 90s when ridge was married to taylor and brooke saw them in a restaurant she was dining with victor newman lol and she said to victor that man belongs with me and i am gonna get him not matter what.and ridge and tayor they both shared kids together did she respect the fact he was married with kids? did she respect taylor? no but in this case thomas has to be the bad guy cause he wanted hope? i feel the writers totally forgot past storylines from 25 years ago lol and they wanna make us TEAM BROOKE lol
@lostintime, I remember that episode clearly, and she asked Victor to kiss her, to try and get Ridge jealous.. Like I said numerous times, when Bell senior was writing , it was always Tridge, then when he died, in 2005, it then became the hogan Logan show, and “destiny” was born.. people either haven’t watched or forget..
It makes no sense from a writing standpoint to take all this time to rebuild Thomas' character to make a predictable, rehashed storyline of him screwing someone over again... for what? He'd literally lose EVERYTHING just for?? Ridge temporarily going back to Taylor? I think his scene with Douglas showed Douglas or someone else "framing" Brooke... that's not the reaction of someone trying to hide what he did, just an annoyed dad. It was just to bring the relevance of that app back again. But hey maybe I'm underestimating these writers' will to undermine their own script.

Agreed.. I don’t think it was Thomas, but now Donna and Eric have seen the app in action, I bet Donna will tell Brooke that it was Thomas , when it comes out about the call being her voice.. Donna will just assume it was Thomas setting Brooke up, so he will get the blame anyway, and everyone will turn against him even though he is innocent!! That will be another catch to the story line!! I just hope, that if that happens, that Ridge will stick to his promise to Taylor, because she did ask him that even if Brooke didn’t do whatever it was she did, and he said no, he he is not going back to her.. So he better not hurt her again..

Sorry that made no sense about Douglas.. If Brooke really did call and she finds out about the app and talks Ridge into believing it was Thomas in an attempt to break her and Ridge up, and Ridge believes it, and then it comes out later that it was really Brooke, and Ridge does go back to Brooke before it comes out it really was her setting Thomas up, then he leaves Brooke and Taylor won’t take him back and he ends up alone without either woman.. that would be a big plot twist..

It would be interesting to find out why he would do it - to get back to Hope's (unlikely, he loves it at Eric's), to get Ridge and Taylor back together (I don't think he cares that much plus unlikely that he understands the correlation between CPS and Ridge breaking up the marriage) or just to play (boooring).
DeleteDouglas has always wanted his mom and dad together. Having the opportunity to tell CPS himself that he loves living with his dad will, in turn, cause Hope to have to come to the mansion to spend time with them rather than her and Liam taking him away back to the cabin. Everything that is playing out now with Hope spending nights over at Eric's is exactly what Douglas stood to gain if he was the one that made the call.

I think he overheard Brooke and Thomas, and the things she said to him about not being a good influence on Douglas, and the concern about the knife, and he used the opportunity to record her voice.. He has said many times why can’t they be a family.. I don’t think he cares much for Liam or living in the cabin for that matter.. And he is a smart kid.. he might have thought if he calls them, then Brooke can’t do anything about making him go back to Hopes.. The way he handled the CPS officers, especially when they asked if he felt safe, surprised me.. it’s too obvious to be either Thomas or Brooke!!

Like I said numerous times, when Bell senior was writing , it was always Tridge, then when he died, in 2005, it then became the hogan Logan show, and “destiny” was born.. people either haven’t watched or forget..
DeleteIt makes no sense from a writing standpoint to take all this time to rebuild Thomas' character to make a predictable, rehashed storyline of him screwing someone over again... for what? He'd literally lose EVERYTHING just for?? Ridge temporarily going back to Taylor? I think his scene with Douglas showed Douglas or someone else "framing" Brooke... that's not the reaction of someone trying to hide what he did, just an annoyed dad. It was just to bring the relevance of that app back again. But hey maybe I'm underestimating these writers' will to undermine their own script.

Donna will just assume it was Thomas setting Brooke up, so he will get the blame anyway, and everyone will turn against him even though he is innocent!! That will be another catch to the story line!! I just hope, that if that happens, that Ridge will stick to his promise to Taylor, because she did ask him that even if Brooke didn’t do whatever it was she did, and he said no, he he is not going back to her.. So he better not hurt her again..

If Brooke really did call and she finds out about the app and talks Ridge into believing it was Thomas in an attempt to break her and Ridge up, and Ridge believes it, and then it comes out later that it was really Brooke, and Ridge does go back to Brooke before it comes out it really was her setting Thomas up, then he leaves Brooke and Taylor won’t take him back and he ends up alone without either woman.. that would be a big plot twist..
