@Maur 😂😂 ❤️ as I have said before, most Brooke haters would quit B&B if there was no Brooke anymore. All the major storylines revolve around her and her colorful life. I'm glad she's not like Taylor. She's flawed, spoiled and amazing, capable of all human emotions and with a huge heart. She was the only true match for Stephanie's character.
Brooke flawed? 😂 😂 More like a train wreck! Brooke's not flawed. She's purposeful and conniving. She'll stoop to any level to get what she wants. She's selfish, self-centered and self-absorbed. Even when it looks like she's concerned for someone else, the bottom line is always how a situation would benefit her. Brooke is unfaithful and disloyal to the people she says she loves because, for some reason, she can't seem to get past herself and genuinely care about what's important in the bigger picture. What's important to her will always come first even though it has worked against her time and time again and continues to work against her. She never learns from her past mistakes and because she never learns, she doesn't change. And that's never a good thing.
That said, I don't totally hate or dislike her character. I wish she can grow out of those disgusting habits of hers. If she were to leave the show, I highly doubt I'll stop watching but I can admit that the show won't be the same without her. It hasn't been the same since Stephanie left (although Steffy seems to be filling her shoes quite nicely) and it won't be the same without Brooke.
Yes she's made mistakes and those mistakes exactly have ensured the most exciting storylines. Steffy can't fill even 1/3 shoe of her grandma. Stephanie never whined like that, never whored around like Steffy who for her age has been exactly like Brooke in terms of men and their brothers and fathers, as well as the paternity of her kids, but is acting like she's better.

The "lie" Brooke told may have been the final deciding factor for Ridge but I wouldn't say he ran to Taylor because of it. Since he first left Brooke and told her he needed some space, he had been thinking.
Exactly. He may have been torn between the two for months, but it's no coincidence that the minute Brooke did something that hurt his little feelings, he went jetting off to Aspen after Taylor. Just like when he found out about the kiss with Deacon, he went running after Taylor. And after the kiss with Bill, he went running after Shauna.

After Ridge left Brooke's thinking that she lied right to his face, he went to the office and got into it with Thomas because he was asking his father for an update on what happened with Brooke. Ridge even shouted at Thomas that Brooke was his wife (he was still defensive of her at that point.) He then left the office and went over to Eric's where he was shown thinking of all the good times (not the bad) with Brooke as well as the good times with Taylor. I think it's safe to say that up till that point, Ridge still hadn't decided one way or another what he was going to do. He then started to ponder about what he was doing with his life and that's when the pine cone fell. It was the pine cone, Hilary, that gave him the answer as to what he was going to do. Blame the pine cone.
Ridge's decision wasn't a reactive one like with Shauna or with the Deacon situation. I will say however, that Brooke's 'lie' caused him to come face to face with the reality of what his life with Brooke is like. And if that's the case, then even if it's found out that Brooke didn't make the call, in Ridge's mind, it won't take away from the fact that a life with Brooke is just one drama after the next.
@Colly but that's been the case for 30 years already, I think he knows it and somehow enjoys it. He just also enjoys mixing it up a bit with some strange of his own once his ego shouts and then realizes again he wants Brooke. It's not realistic at all, but it is what happens. All sides want this to change and maybe this time he'll stick with Taylor even after the reveal. If he really loves her that shouldn't be conditioned on anyone's machinations, even if they are his kid's.
Elle, Brava!!! He didn’t run straight to Taylor. The fact that Ridge didn’t even consider someone might set Brooke up etc but knew it was consistent with her past behaviours shows he does know her. He doesn’t want to see it, that’s why he keeps going back over and over again. Like he said how many times do we have to keep forgiving the same stuff, it’s a decades long cycle and always a matter of time until Brooke messes up again.
I do hope that Thomas didn't call the CPS, I do hope that the writers won't let Thomas down just once time, Just for this time, Thomas deserve a better script even if I not a fan.
I don't believe he did. Those memories today were just him replaying what had happened as a possible cause for his dad going to Aspen. As soon as he heard Ridge was there, you could see the sequence of his thoughts.
I *really* hope they'll surprise us by revealing that it was Steffy who placed the call to CPS to frame Brooke. I already dislike her, and it seems like something she would do. And I want Thomas and Hope to have a chance of getting together.
That’s what it looked like to me too Elle.. If he had done it, I think Thomas would have had those thoughts straight away, and he seemed genuinely surprised that Ridge was there.. and the old Thomas would have had that grin on his face that he used to get when he did something.. I am positive that Thomas didn’t do it.. He wouldn’t risk all the progress he has made, especially with Douglas and Hope most of all..

I’m curious to see what Ridge does when Brooke shows up. It won’t be about her innocence since she and no one else knows about the recording. They never said anything to her or anyone else. They didn’t tell Taylor and Steffy about CPS that is all between Thomas, Hope, Ridge, Brooke and Liam.

@Colly Brooke is going to Aspen to see what's going on. She now has information that Taylor and Steffy are also in Aspen. Ridge is still her husband so she is going to put a stop to whatever she thinks is going on.
I also think that when she has an opportunity to speak with Ridge, he will confront her with the CPS call and ask her to be honest with him. She will either admit to making the call or she won't. That's when the investigation to determine who made the call will begin.
So is Aspen special to Steffy and Bill because that is when they were co-conspirators to keep Liam away from Hope? That's when Steffy and Bill trapped Hope in the gondola and made her watch Liam marry Steffy? That was really one of the most cruel things ever, but Steffy is a Saint.
Rose Steffy is no saint!! Not by a long shot!! But NO ONE is on this show.. But some are not quite as bad as others.. Hope got pregnant to Liam while he was still married to a pregnant Steffy, so I would think that’s pretty cruel and worse if you ask me?? Because watching someone marry someone can be undone, a child is for life.. If Steffy stayed Married to Liam, she would have Beth rubbed in her face all the time, from Hopes actions.. And she would have had to be Beth’s stepmother.. now that’s is cruel!!
@Rose You should remember that Hope had ended her engagement to Liam and Liam, in turn, asked Steffy to marry him. Bill and Steffy's manipulation doesn't change those facts. It also doesn't change the fact that Liam willingly married her and was happy to do so. Hope who?
And to answer your question, Aspen is special to Liam and Steffy. It was where he tore up the annulment papers after Steffy had signed them and declared his love for her even though he and Hope were engaged. Bill offered the house to Steffy first because he knows the significance of it.
Do you see a pattern here? Aspen was where Liam married Steffy and Aspen was where he decided he wanted to stay married to Steffy. Both times, in spite of Hope.

I used to post at the Sony board many many many years ago and made some great friends there. Being from the Caribbean (and all of them were from the US), I decided to take a trip to New York where we were able to meet up face to face. It was awesome! We started sending each other post cards and family photos every Christmas and I must say, that season in my life was one of the best! Most of us are no longer in touch, although I do communicate with about 3 or 4 of them via Facebook and LinkedIn up till now.
Elle, that's one of the only good things the internet has given us. I'm in Canada and it's interesting talking to people in other countries, which we could never do before. I too like a light beer . .cheers 🍻

I think it's safe to say that up till that point, Ridge still hadn't decided one way or another what he was going to do. He then started to ponder about what he was doing with his life and that's when the pine cone fell. It was the pine cone, Hilary, that gave him the answer as to what he was going to do. Blame the pine cone.
DeleteRidge's decision wasn't a reactive one like with Shauna or with the Deacon situation. I will say however, that Brooke's 'lie' caused him to come face to face with the reality of what his life with Brooke is like. And if that's the case, then even if it's found out that Brooke didn't make the call, in Ridge's mind, it won't take away from the fact that a life with Brooke is just one drama after the next.
@Colly but that's been the case for 30 years already, I think he knows it and somehow enjoys it. He just also enjoys mixing it up a bit with some strange of his own once his ego shouts and then realizes again he wants Brooke. It's not realistic at all, but it is what happens. All sides want this to change and maybe this time he'll stick with Taylor even after the reveal. If he really loves her that shouldn't be conditioned on anyone's machinations, even if they are his kid's.

The fact that Ridge didn’t even consider someone might set Brooke up etc but knew it was consistent with her past behaviours shows he does know her. He doesn’t want to see it, that’s why he keeps going back over and over again. Like he said how many times do we have to keep forgiving the same stuff, it’s a decades long cycle and always a matter of time until Brooke messes up again.

If he had done it, I think Thomas would have had those thoughts straight away, and he seemed genuinely surprised that Ridge was there.. and the old Thomas would have had that grin on his face that he used to get when he did something.. I am positive that Thomas didn’t do it.. He wouldn’t risk all the progress he has made, especially with Douglas and Hope most of all..

Ridge & Taylor are like Lucy & Charlie Brown when Lucy holds the football & tells Charlie Brown to kick it because this time she promises not to snatch the football away at the last minute causing Charlie Brown to fall down. Every time, even when Lucy promises this time she will not snatch away the football she always does. Ridge is doing that to Taylor. Finally, it appears she may be done with him. At least, I hope so.

I’m curious to see what Ridge does when Brooke shows up. It won’t be about her innocence since she and no one else knows about the recording. They never said anything to her or anyone else. They didn’t tell Taylor and Steffy about CPS that is all between Thomas, Hope, Ridge, Brooke and Liam.
Bfan that will be very interesting.. Because even if Brooke didn’t do it, Ridge has just pledged his undying love to Taylor, despite Taylor telling him he always does this.. So I am wondering how he is going to handle this situation?? If Taylor does give in to him, I am hoping that even if Brooke can prove her innocence, that Ridge will tell her he is over all the issues that constantly happens to cause problems, and that she can’t support his son.. It’s like the boy who cried wolf.. She has lied so many times that he can’t trust her anymore, even if she is innocent this time!!

DeleteI also think that when she has an opportunity to speak with Ridge, he will confront her with the CPS call and ask her to be honest with him. She will either admit to making the call or she won't. That's when the investigation to determine who made the call will begin.

Hope got pregnant to Liam while he was still married to a pregnant Steffy, so I would think that’s pretty cruel and worse if you ask me?? Because watching someone marry someone can be undone, a child is for life.. If Steffy stayed Married to Liam, she would have Beth rubbed in her face all the time, from Hopes actions.. And she would have had to be Beth’s stepmother.. now that’s is cruel!!

DeleteAnd to answer your question, Aspen is special to Liam and Steffy. It was where he tore up the annulment papers after Steffy had signed them and declared his love for her even though he and Hope were engaged. Bill offered the house to Steffy first because he knows the significance of it.
Do you see a pattern here? Aspen was where Liam married Steffy and Aspen was where he decided he wanted to stay married to Steffy. Both times, in spite of Hope.
Stand your ground Taylor, you deserve so much more than Croaks... He 'loves' you for a minute, the moment he figures out who called CPS and if it turns out NOT to be Brooke, he's gonna go back and leave poor Taylor heartbroken yet again! DeleteI used to post at the Sony board many many many years ago and made some great friends there. Being from the Caribbean (and all of them were from the US), I decided to take a trip to New York where we were able to meet up face to face. It was awesome! We started sending each other post cards and family photos every Christmas and I must say, that season in my life was one of the best! Most of us are no longer in touch, although I do communicate with about 3 or 4 of them via Facebook and LinkedIn up till now.
