We are equipped for this much snow but this is unprecedented. Never have I seen blizzards this bad. 2 days now no hydro and no one going anywhere. It's going to be a quiet Xmas, heard there was an earthquake too hit BC. You've had enough on the west coast with floods forest fires and now this amount snow. Have a safe and happy holiday. 🍻

D, it’s even better just creaming sofa with a really big scoop of icecream.. you can do that with any soft drink, but I think it’s pretty popular in Australia, we used to have what is called a spider, which Coca Cola with icecream, but my favourite is the creaming sofa with icecream and have you ever had strawberry and rasberry jelly with icecream, it’s heaven in a bowl!!
D, I made 2 bottles of ponche de creme last night. It's eggs mixed with condensed milk, evaporated milk, rum and a sprinkle of nutmeg. Served with ice, it's sooooooo good!
Root beer floats are very common in the US. But yes, you can use any flavor soda. Very good summer treat! And Elle, yours sounds a lot like what we call egg nog. A Christmas favorite for sure!!
