@Renee Steffy is the one that got played. At first when i read this week's spoilers I thought he was playing Sheila, but it turns out he is playing Steffy but he also will play Katie as well, she will believe that he was a hero in having Sheila arrested when that really isn't the case, and the others will be surprised later when he gets her out later and eventually learn he is having a relationship with her.
Oh I hope Bill has just tricked Sheila into going to jail and he isn't actually gonna be with her. He did a thing with his eyes when she said she loves him like he's playing her

She needs to just tell the whole sordid truth, and about needing a paternity test both times she was pregnant, and she has the nerve to call Brooke a trashy tramp, though she has mellowed out towards Brooks somewhat. Also, if you have committed a crime like Sheila did, they don't need the victim to press charges, they will move forward with prosecution. In most states, nowadays in domestic violence cases if the victim tries to drop the charges, the state will go forward with the case because so many people drop the charges because they are afraid of their abuser. Maybe they think if Steffy and Finn are called to the stand that without their testimony identifying Sheila that she will not be convicted, but with her criminal history? No, that's a ridiculous storyline too. Hire some new writers guys! Ones who can write believable story lines.

The writers have reached a new low. Bill and Sheila? Seriously? And they've been living together and have such a strong bond for what? 2 days at the most? Also little innocent Steffy should tell Finn the whole story about her and Bill and how she had an affair with him while he was married to Katie and pursued him relentlessly, as well as she should tell him how she always chased after any and every man that Hope ever had.

I don't know what Bill is up to but why even bother to blackmail Steffy for pressing charges if he knew he was going to call the cops on her anyway? As was stated before, the police do not require Steffy or Finn to press charges as Sheila's crimes are against the State. Not to mention, she was already in prison for shooting Finn and Steffy but escaped. The cops already have enough charges against her without having to depend on Finn and Steffy.
The only explanation I can come up is that Bill is dumb enough to believe Steffy and Finn can persuade the authorities not to prosecute. Which in a normal reality like you say is not the case. Either Bill will be the idiot or we will feel like ones being sold that ridiculousness. Or - the common hope - he really does have a plan to leave her in custody.
