Elle, I watched even more of Wednesday’s episode and have even more comments about that show. 1st. It was Wyatt who brought up Thomas’ name at lunch. It was not Liam! You ladies love to go on and on about how Liam is OBSESSING over Thomas, but it wasn’t even Liam who brought up Thomas’ name!! It was literally Wyatt!! 🤣🤣🤣 2. I know you have already conceded on this point, but Thomas was kind enough to remind the audience that it was “Steffy’s decision to bring Thomas back to FC.” It was not a board decision. 3. Thomas tells Ridge how he can see how everyone would be skeptical. Thomas says to Ridge…”I screw up, then apologize, then screw up and apologize, then go for a little while without messing up, then mess up again. And apologize again.” Well at least Thomas realizes why literally NO ONE should believe him when he says he changed!!! 4. I watched more of the episode this time to try to find the specific reference to Thomas that you said you heard Brooke make. And here’s the part you failed to mention when Brooke started her comment to Hope…. Brooke said, “I’m not worried about you honey, I’m worried about Thomas. Thomas is a bad boy and you don’t like bad boys.” As I said in my comment above, if Brooke had any concerns about Hope, Brooke would confront those concerns directly. Brooke is simply reminding Hope in that scene that if Thomas crosses any lines, Hope must make good on her word to boot him to the curb. No allowances for bad behavior by Thomas. No ‘looking the other way’ as Hope has a tendency to do. Brooke is definitely not trying to accuse Hope of having feelings for Thomas. Not subtly or otherwise.

This blog has gotten too serious and way too critical so I found some others which are brief, more lighthearted and fun. In one, they constantly refer to Hope as “HOpe” and a “half-Logan.” No, I don’t find Hope trampy but it was amusing. If you like the discourse here by all means continue but there are alternatives.
The only thing the “intensity” shows is that everyone on this blog has strong opinions about their favorite / least favorite characters. Mmysh, I'm not sure what your point is but you cannot apply real time to the show. For example, at the start of the show, Taylor asked Brooke about how her dinner went LAST NIGHT but by the end of the show, when Brooke came to the office to talk to Hope, she said that she was thinking about their conversation from THE OTHER NIGHT, suggesting that it was not last night. So really, who cares?
Elle, they had the beginning of a conversation the night before where Hope came into Brooke’s house clearly very angry. That was the first inkling Brooke had about Hope and Thomas. Hope was going to further discuss the issue with Brooke when Liam walked in and cut the conversation short. Today’s suspicion was a carry over from an unfinished and very heated discussion with Brooke late last night. That’s why Brooke was listening at the door. And upon listening at the door she gleaned that this concern Hope is having must be about Thomas. You maintained an earlier episode from LAST WEEK (last Wednesday to be exact) was when Brooke first assumed that Hope was thinking about Thomas and suspicious of her daughter and Thomas. And I said…absolutely NOT!! And I was correct. Brooke had no forethought that Hope was seeing Thomas in her head on last Wednesday’s episode. Brooke’s compliment to Hope about what a good girl she is was 100% sincere. And Brooke was NOT fishing!! That was just you reading into things and stating them as fact.
So it took brook days to reach hope in the other room And hope and thomas was talking for days Also how many days did it take ridge to get the room where Taylor and brook was speaking about last night And do they stays in the same clothes for days I really wonder even with soaps timeframe thats doesn’t make sense

“Real time” has nothing to do with a conversation from mid week last week when they were all wearing different clothes. Clearly it was another day than the timeframe we are talking about now, which was last night and this morning. So let’s say instead of being 6 days ago, it was only 2 or 3 days ago. No Mmysh, you are being ridiculous because I never said that. I said that you cannot apply real time to the show because even the show (not me) doesn't stick to the timing of how things occur. Today, Taylor, Brooke and Ridge talked about her dinner with Ridge last night then Brooke left Taylor and Ridge and went to talk to Hope about their conversation the other night regarding Hope stating that she did not want to be like her mother. However, that conversation happened the same night that Brooke and Ridge had their dinner, which was last night. So it's either Brooke is confused about when Hope lashed out at her or the show (not me) is trying to make us believe that Hope went off on Brooke nights ago.

Soapy time has no relation to real time… seriously we have to not pick everything?? We had the same day for a week straight and then the show leaps ahead a week/ months in the same one. The hair is suddenly longer/ shorter, etc. I try to catch clues from dialogue. Like Ridge saying it’s been months since he was with his family etc. We know it was a few weeks IRL.
Brooke was giving Hope a warning with her bad boy speech. She praised her daughter then gave her a gentle hint/warning. Brooke if anyone knows what the late nights, working closely etc can do. She knew the attraction of the bad boy, she knows Thomas is one and is observant enough to know that Thomas could be attractive to Hope. Especially given how supportive he is of Hope and how passionate they both are about the line, the ongoing tension with Liam etc. Hope has been acting off more and more.
Brooke was concerned before Hope came to her house shouting at her for flirting with Ridge.
BBFAN, I completely disagree. It was a genuine compliment from Brooke to Hope and absolutely nothing more. Read into things all you want. Doesn’t make them anymore true. The first sign of anything being off (as far as Brooke was concerned) was when Hope came flying in the house and Brooke was completely taken back and shocked by Hope’s bizarre behavior. Brooke said those very words to Hope when Hope was accusing her! Brooke had NO CLUE where that was coming from! So as I said, fabricate things in your mind if that makes you feel better. But there’s zero truth to it.
This show is for entertainment only, and you have to agree the writers most times don’t remember from one day to the next what they write. So how about not being so literal or technical and quit arguing and rewatching and taking notes to prove that another viewer is wrong.

Elle, I watched even more of Wednesday’s episode and have even more comments about that show.
1st. It was Wyatt who brought up Thomas’ name at lunch. It was not Liam! You ladies love to go on and on about how Liam is OBSESSING over Thomas, but it wasn’t even Liam who brought up Thomas’ name!! It was literally Wyatt!! 🤣🤣🤣
2. I know you have already conceded on this point, but Thomas was kind enough to remind the audience that it was “Steffy’s decision to bring Thomas back to FC.” It was not a board decision.
3. Thomas tells Ridge how he can see how everyone would be skeptical. Thomas says to Ridge…”I screw up, then apologize, then screw up and apologize, then go for a little while without messing up, then mess up again. And apologize again.” Well at least Thomas realizes why literally NO ONE should believe him when he says he changed!!!
4. I watched more of the episode this time to try to find the specific reference to Thomas that you said you heard Brooke make. And here’s the part you failed to mention when Brooke started her comment to Hope….
Brooke said, “I’m not worried about you honey, I’m worried about Thomas. Thomas is a bad boy and you don’t like bad boys.” As I said in my comment above, if Brooke had any concerns about Hope, Brooke would confront those concerns directly. Brooke is simply reminding Hope in that scene that if Thomas crosses any lines, Hope must make good on her word to boot him to the curb. No allowances for bad behavior by Thomas. No ‘looking the other way’ as Hope has a tendency to do. Brooke is definitely not trying to accuse Hope of having feelings for Thomas. Not subtly or otherwise.
And now a married woman having feelings to another man not to mention whom but in general speaking

This blog has gotten too serious and way too critical so I found some others which are brief, more lighthearted and fun. In one, they constantly refer to Hope as “HOpe” and a “half-Logan.” No, I don’t find Hope trampy but it was amusing. If you like the discourse here by all means continue but there are alternatives.

For example, at the start of the show, Taylor asked Brooke about how her dinner went LAST NIGHT but by the end of the show, when Brooke came to the office to talk to Hope, she said that she was thinking about their conversation from THE OTHER NIGHT, suggesting that it was not last night. So really, who cares?
DeleteElle, they had the beginning of a conversation the night before where Hope came into Brooke’s house clearly very angry. That was the first inkling Brooke had about Hope and Thomas. Hope was going to further discuss the issue with Brooke when Liam walked in and cut the conversation short. Today’s suspicion was a carry over from an unfinished and very heated discussion with Brooke late last night. That’s why Brooke was listening at the door. And upon listening at the door she gleaned that this concern Hope is having must be about Thomas.

“Real time” has nothing to do with a conversation from mid week last week when they were all wearing different clothes. Clearly it was another day than the timeframe we are talking about now, which was last night and this morning. So let’s say instead of being 6 days ago, it was only 2 or 3 days ago. Either way, it was before Brooke had any inclination that her daughter was having any thoughts about Thomas.

DeleteNo Mmysh, you are being ridiculous because I never said that. I said that you cannot apply real time to the show because even the show (not me) doesn't stick to the timing of how things occur. Today, Taylor, Brooke and Ridge talked about her dinner with Ridge last night then Brooke left Taylor and Ridge and went to talk to Hope about their conversation the other night regarding Hope stating that she did not want to be like her mother. However, that conversation happened the same night that Brooke and Ridge had their dinner, which was last night. So it's either Brooke is confused about when Hope lashed out at her or the show (not me) is trying to make us believe that Hope went off on Brooke nights ago.

DeleteSoapy time has no relation to real time… seriously we have to not pick everything?? We had the same day for a week straight and then the show leaps ahead a week/ months in the same one. The hair is suddenly longer/ shorter, etc. I try to catch clues from dialogue. Like Ridge saying it’s been months since he was with his family etc. We know it was a few weeks IRL.
DeleteBrooke was giving Hope a warning with her bad boy speech. She praised her daughter then gave her a gentle hint/warning. Brooke if anyone knows what the late nights, working closely etc can do. She knew the attraction of the bad boy, she knows Thomas is one and is observant enough to know that Thomas could be attractive to Hope. Especially given how supportive he is of Hope and how passionate they both are about the line, the ongoing tension with Liam etc. Hope has been acting off more and more.
Brooke was concerned before Hope came to her house shouting at her for flirting with Ridge.
BBFAN, I completely disagree. It was a genuine compliment from Brooke to Hope and absolutely nothing more. Read into things all you want. Doesn’t make them anymore true. The first sign of anything being off (as far as Brooke was concerned) was when Hope came flying in the house and Brooke was completely taken back and shocked by Hope’s bizarre behavior. Brooke said those very words to Hope when Hope was accusing her! Brooke had NO CLUE where that was coming from! So as I said, fabricate things in your mind if that makes you feel better. But there’s zero truth to it.

I think the issue is that Mmysh in particular openly mocks and is nasty to anyone who disagrees with them! There are loads of times I don’t post anything because I don’t want to be castigated by Mymsh who is apparently always correct and the only one who knows anything about the show other than Lynn.
