Hope just can’t get enough of Thomas. She keeps saying how she’s never felt like that before, never had what they have with anyone.
Apparently Liam isn’t all that and a packet of crisps lol. Now she has someone who loves, wants and supports her, she can open up and be free to really give herself to someone.
She and Liam always had this restrained almost platonic feel to their marriage. Like an old comfy pair of socks that are worn and full of holes that you just can’t part with lol.
I hope Auntie Donna collected Douglas and Beth from day camp because their parents are none of them thinking about them just now.
I think Finn gave a good indication to Steffy, that while he would be seriously cross about Liam kissing her, and her keeping quiet about, he would fight for his wife and their marriage!

So that simply means Sheila is getting out of prison somehow and something bad will happen to Finn as a result of that. Or Finn is gonna find out what happened between Steffy and Liam and there will be more fallout from that. And I definitely would not put it past Steffy to sleep with Liam. Sure she loves Finn, but she definitely still cares about Liam. So I can totally see her falling back into Liam’s arms if the circumstances are right. I like Finn, but he’s very boring. And my guess is….he’s on his way out.
Brooke knocked multiple times and no one answered. That’s far more respectful than what every one else does on this show!! They just barge right in!!!

Imagine if your own mom walked in on you in bed with someone and confronted you like that! So weird. And especially with all that Brooke has done through the years with men. Hypocrite, for sure. But then again, she wants Hope to be with Liam, so that is why she was so shocked and plus how she can't stand Thomas and seems like she only "pretends" to like him to get along with Ridge. Yes, the next episodes are going to be something else!

DeleteI understand that Brooke doesn't like Thomas but, to just barge into his bedroom like that? With all of Brooke's "bedroom experience" (as Renee put it), I am sure she knew exactly what was going on. She could have just knocked on the door calling Hope's name until she came to the door. Brooke really did not have to barge in. Her insistence on being so involved in her daughter's sex life is making me think it's probably some sort of fetish. 🤮
DeleteI feel like some people are being very critical of Brooke just because she's Brooke. I bet if Ridge, Taylor, or Steffy had walked in and saw what Brooke saw downstairs, they would have gone upstairs just like Brooke did. And they would also ask "Thomas, what are you doing! You're sleeping with a married woman!" Yes, Hope and Thomas are adults, but anyone in either family would be concerned about the fallout. What's Liam going to do? How will this affect Douglas and Beth. Will this change things at HFTF? Call me old-fashioned, but maybe Hope and Thomas could have waited for an official separation (from Liam), and actually dated for a while instead of just jumping in the sack. Definitely not as interesting, but more mature and responsible. 😐

She wanted to rant at Thomas and warn him not to interfere in Hope’s marriage etc. She wasn’t going to say something nice to him at all. That was pure fiction for Ridge’s benefit. She’s so two faced

I don’t think Ridge or Taylor would barge into someone else’s house ( this is Thomas’s home!!! Not Hope’s), see their ADULT child’s things, go up to the bedroom, rip open the door and shout at them!

DeleteYup! It's Brooke's modus operandi. Only she will do something like that. If it were any of the people you mentioned above, they would not have gotten as much flack because it is not something that they would normally do. But Brooke does not do normal. She's very extra.
Forever 36, you are 100% correct. And my guess is Brooke is gonna come down on Hope much more than she comes down on Thomas on Friday’s episode. She has already had talks with people and admitted that Hope initiated the kiss in Rome. Brooke isn’t trying to pass the blame!

I believe 100% that Brooke came there with the intention of praising Thomas for the changes she has seen in him. Brooke is a straight shooter! She wouldn’t tell Ridge she was going there to thank Thomas for the work he’s put in to being a better person, only to go over to Thomas’ and give him a verbal lashing! What would be the point in that???!!! She absolutely knows it would get back to Ridge that she really went there to lecture Thomas.
Brooke went there with good intentions. No doubt about it!!!!

Brooke has an absolute fear of Hope turning into her, she doesnt want her daughter to make the same mistakes she made in the past. Every mom wants their child to be BETTER than they were and we as moms try to protect and advise our kids to always be better and learn from our past mistakes.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely DO NOT agree with Brooke barging into the bedroom like she did, but I believe impulse led her too. She went all sorts of crazy when she spotted Hope's belongings at Thomas' apartment.
And Im still having a hard time watching 'Good Girl Hope' turn into this naughty, seductress 'beastess' Lol.. Well she's having fun, atleast. :-)
I saw the same thing, KKL really did a great job showing this fear of Hope making her mistakes. And yes her impulse led her to check on Hope and believe me everyone of them would have done the same, it's what they do on this soap. And let's not forget that Ridge has come every single time to Brooke saying "you were right about Thomas". Every single time after she was warning people she was right and Ridge acknowledged it. I hope this time she realizes Hope was acting out of her own desire and even though Thomas should have kept his promise to stay away, the majority of responsibility goes to Hope.
