Hope is a very unique combination of pathetic and cruel for begging Thomas to repeat how much he loves only her, while all she can repeat is how she doesn't. What happened to you, Hope?
ReplyDeleteI can't stand Li anymore with all her ambiguous crap. No, Finn doesn't know what to do! How can he get rid of Sheila, short of killing her?
Deacon looked like Sheila hearing him was exactly what he waned. If he has a plan, I'll congratulate him. But it sounds too creative to be true. Did anyone notice how dark and quiet it got around them? Chilling.

DeleteHope might not know what she feels for Thomas, but she should think about what she knows for sure- life with Liam is too boring. It's actually a great revenge on Steffy to unload Liam on her. Liam can work his high moral standards FOR OTHER PEOPLE (That he doesn't follow of course.) I hope Deacon doesn't drive with the total tunnel vision on what's in front and can't see Sheila a few feet away. Deacon wouldn't see a kid running out for a ball until it's under his tire.
DeleteIt's not believable that Deacon didn't see Sheila. So I think what someone else just said he wanted her to hear it. But it's too elaborate a set up to have the judge there.
DeleteHope might not trust Thomas, but he's a world away from wet blanket Liam. They would have an interesting life together in fashion.
Li is the embodiment of Evil herself. Trying to get Finn to kill Sheila and take all the risk. She needs a lap dog.

Milla, she keeps telling him she doesn’t want to hurt him….and all the while leading him on and using him! Who would put up with that??!! Hope has no conscience these days. And it’s all about her!! I hope Thomas tells her to go pound sand!!
Deleteit would be different if they were both just in it for the good time. But that is definitely not the case! Wow, I can’t believe I find myself defending Thomas these days. Mostly just because I feel badly for him. However, I will never forget his horrible past deeds!

DeleteHope hasn't changed. She is being her usual honest and caring self. She ended things with Thomas, let's not forget. Thomas was the one who asked for her to give him a chance and told her over and over and over.... and over again that he knows she is not there as yet. I don't know why people are feeling sorry for him (except possibly as a dig at Hope) when he was the one that went after her after she ended things with him. If she did not continue to seek reassurance from him that he is okay with what they have between them, then I would say that she is being totally cold-hearted and uncaring. However, they are 2 consenting adults enjoying each other. Thomas is being patient and reminding her that his love for her will never waiver.
DeleteIf she fell in love with him immediately, the remarks will be how contrived it is that she was in love with Liam and now is suddenly in love with Thomas. If she walked away from him, the remarks will be how cruel she is for leading him on in Rome then dropping him like a hot potato! Hope is damned if she does, damned if she doesn't.
She is damned that's for sure 😂 but yes she has changed. She wasn't one to use someone for sex and ego boost (that she's the one for him, well done, found the one man who won't go after Steffy wohoo). She would only sleep with the man she loves. That's why people are disappointed in her.
DeleteI personally feel sorry for Thomas for begging her to give him a chance and her obviously not wanting that but also not willing to give up the ego boost. Nobody should be in the position to plead to someone to give them a chance. Love either is there or not.
And yes "the remarks" where Thope is concerned will always be there because the whole relationship is messed up and unbelievable.
DeleteHope has not changed. Her goodness is still there. I think people are viewing her as using Thomas because they do not like them together. But they have both consented to this. How can someone say that she is using Thomas without acknowledging Thomas' willingness to be with Hope? Using someone, in my opinion, involves manipulation of some sort to get the person to do things that you want knowing full well that it is going to be nothing more. Hope is not manipulating Thomas. She has told him time and time again where she stands and he has accepted that.
DeleteAnd I firmly believe that Hope's feelings for Thomas have not gone away. She has acknowledged her feelings for him and has also acknowledged that she wants to continue exploring those feelings. Because of the things that Liam has said to her, she is now caught between what her heart feels and what her mind is telling her concerning Thomas' past. I have no doubt that she will eventually give in to her feelings. And this is exactly what I wanted. To see Hope genuinely fall for Thomas. She's halfway there already.
Haha halfway to love, after 2 decades. And again about the „feelings“ I won’t repeat what I’ve said about 20 times.
DeleteExactly Thomas‘ willingness to be with Hope expressed in pleading to her and her refusal to have a relationship is what’s wrong with this. If “exploring“ this relationship means having secret sex only, then she’s exploring it. Still doesn’t make it less gross and un-Hope-like. She’s not shown fighting her love for him. If what you say about a conflict between her heart and her mind were the case, she would be *shown* struggling with internal conflict, debating with herself how much she wants to be with him but it's wrong because of all the past. Instead, at every chance she very firmly interrupts his advances to make sure he knows what this is - aka sex. And she's enjoying being adored and knowing she's the one. That's taking advantage and is not love. Yes Thomas is consenting but only because he hopes for more.
Btw I'm not trying to be mean, I am very well aware that we see the relationship differently and everyone has the right to.

Milla, you are so right! This is all just about Hope’s ego and insecurity because she has had to share Liam’s heart all these years. She knows how much Thomas adores her. He always has….and he’s already told her countless times that she is the only one for him. Like I said in a previous comment, hearing the actual words during foreplay is what gets Hope’s motor revving! I gotta wonder if just anyone who told Hope those words could get her in bed just as easily?!! It’s not Thomas, but the idea of what Thomas offers her that makes it so enticing to Hope! She is definitely not the person she used to be! When was she ever so insecure and needy before this whole Thomas debacle? She has turned into something totally different and there is nothing attractive about Hope version 2.

DeleteI don't know about whatever gets Hope revving because I can also point out that while she was still married to her husband (and in a few instances, being intimate with him), all she could think of/fantasize about was Thomas. So I won't say that Thomas saying that she is the only one is what gets her revving. Thomas had been getting her going long before that. Lol.
But fantasizing about Thomas didn’t get her revving with Liam, it was more of terror attacks when that happened 😅 and I also don’t expect thope (if it even begins) to last forever. All I’m saying is that if she rejects Liam for Thomas, I’ll believe it’s for real. How long it then lasts is writers will 😅

ReplyDeleteSo funny how people meet in the middle of a public place, like a restaurant to talk about something they don't really want other people to hear. I already disliked Deacon for choosing to have any contact with Sheila, but now to learn that he pulled strings to get her charges dropped! I really can't stand him now! And I don't think Finn has it in him to kill Sheila. I think Li should do it. It would be the ultimate sacrifice to risk going to prison for her son to have a happy life with his wife and children.
