I hope she doesn't forget what she said because it's true - in a normal healthy situation nobody should be in a (sex only!) relationship with the object of their obsession. If she really holds on to her supposed clinical training, she should discourage it. Yeah yeah consenting adults but a trained psychiatrist's perspective is a little deeper. I also liked the part about the epic life fails and "being so sure you had it all under control".

Speaking of - another round of Hope ensuring Thomas knows "what this is" and the facial expression shows no inner conflict whatsoever. She means it. Still doesn't make her less annoying waltzing in like a diva all "Taylor walked in on us in each other's arms." I'll say it again - motel!

Thomas did just fine controlling his feelings and just focusing on work and Douglas, till Hope decided to develope feelings for him and do everything she has done?? Yes, it’s anyone else’s fault for Hopes actions!!
DeleteTaylor was never ok with Thomas’s past behaviour or obsession with Hope.. She was away doing volunteer work in third world countries for all of that, and was not told till after the fact.. And judging by her reaction with what’s going on now and how upset she is now she has been told what’s going on, after Hope told her before she left that she knew what she did in Rome was wrong and promised Taylor she won’t do anything further to jeaporxise Thomas.. it’s safe to say she’s not ok with it now and would not have been ok with it way back in the past “had she had known”!! So stop trying to make Taylor out like she had no issues with Thomas’s behaviour way back then!! And stop trying to place any blame on Taylor for any of this.. She had been keeping check on Thomas and sitting on his therapy sessions while he has been back on HFTF.. She could see he was doing well.. Then Hope does what she did, unbeknown to Taylor.. anything to have a go at Taylor for, just like FFans are accused of!!
DeleteMilla, I think Taylor proved exactly what you are saying about her multifaceted concerns, when she told Ridge and Brooks they don’t realise what could happen if it just plays out, and that it could send Thomas back to “that dark place with no escape”… I don’t think Taylor would have ever guessed what Hope would do..

DeleteIt’s actually Thomas’ fault. He is a grown man. He is responsible for his own mental health. Hope has repeatedly warned him he could get hurt. But he’s enjoying the current situation waaaaaay too much. So he’s throwing caution to the wind. So this is Thomas’ fault. However, Hope is acting extremely selfishly and there is no excuse for her behavior. Hope is very much a part of the problem. But at the end of all this, it’s gonna be Thomas who gets hurt. And it’s gonna be Thomas’ mental health that takes the hit.

DeleteTaylor is “advising”, Brooke on the other hand, walked into Thomas’s home, uninvited, and went upstairs and heard them in his bedroom and had the nerve to just barged in there!! Who friggin does that to their adult child who has kids of her own??!! Oh, yes, that’s right, Brooke does!! And she “demanded” Hope not go back to Thomas, “Hope, don’t you DARE go back to Thomas” HUGE difference to Taylor saying “I know you are going to make your own decision on this”, and then giving advice 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ The fact of the matter, not Taylor or Ridge or Steffy, or Brooke is to blame.. Hope is using his feelings for her own benefit!! He has said every time, “I know you are not at the same place as I am YET” indicating that he believes she will get there, and she just ignores it and asks him to once AGAIN, tell her how he loves only her.. She is now the one with the “obsession” with Thomas, not the other way around.. The way she constantly asks him to repeat it, and how she reacts to it!! She needs psychological help now.. Hope has no shame whatsoever!!
DeleteThe way I see it….the FF’s were all about the Hope & Thomas relationship until they weren’t. Team Forrester was so hoping this would be this epic romance….true love….between Hope & Thomas. But now that fairy tale seems to have fizzled because everyone can see that Hope is clearly using Thomas for very selfish reasons. I don’t think Hope is at all obsessed with Thomas. Hope is obsessed with the IDEA of someone loving her and ONLY HER. I think it could be the janitor just as easily.
DeleteBut at the end of all this, Thomas is still to blame. He is a grown man. No one is forcing him to have sex with Hope. He is happy to go along with this and is making his own decisions when he allows her to treat him this way. Hope is acting horribly….I doubt one single person would argue that point. But the LF’s have said for months that Hope is no longer the Hope we respected and admired. So it is what it is when it comes to how she is treating Thomas. And it’s still Thomas’ fault for allowing himself to be used in this way.

ReplyDeleteGetting fed up watching the Thomas & Hope story line. He is SO invested in her...He LOVES her and well Hope keeps reciting the "Well I don't love you". She is clearly her Mother's daughter. Thomas clearly deserves better.

Well there it is….Deacon and Sheila soon to be the happy married couple??!! Also ridiculous! I guess Deacon doesn’t actually value his relationship with Hope at all!! Or maybe Deacon thinks Hope will be understanding since she’s now boinking bad-boy Thomas. For some reason I think Deacon is going to appeal to Hope from the Thomas comparison angle in the hopes that Hope won’t disown him.
This show continues on its downward spiral for sure!

If at least it would be the truth 🥱, but it's not. Taylor didn't lose Ridge because of Brooke's manipulation... But Brooke surely lost her marriage because of Thomas's scheme. Actually Taylor manipulated Brooke, Ridge and Deacon just few months ago. I can't even count how many times Taylor actually got Ridge because of manipulations
In the last episode Brooke seemed to have the most mature approach. She was literally the only one that noticed that Finn isn't responsible for being Sheila's bio son. He didn't ask for it. Sure Ridge doesn't see it this way. He and Taylor lives in a world where their kids are not responsible even for their own choices, but others are responsible for things they can't even control. Brooke blamed Thomas for the Thope kiss in Rome before she knew the truth

Finn took a bullet for Steffy, he was loyal and nearly ideal while Steffy cheated on him and continues to disrespect Finn even now. They act like Steffy is such a catch and Finn should be 100% perfect to deserve being with her.
Lynn a part of me still suspects Deacon has a plan. I am his biggest critic and think his stupidity is bottomless but in this case it's just... I don't know. When he has the most to lose, he does this? I thought at first he plans to move away with Sheila and not even tell people he is marrying her.
DeleteMmysh the only reason Taylor *ever* got Ridge was manipulations (her own or others') or misunderstandings. Not once did they come together solely because they can't otherwise, because their love is so strong. And yes they are acting like Steffy is perfect and never hurt Finn.
Milla, I have to respectfully disagree that Taylor never got Ridge without manipulating! Ridge genuinely fell for her after losing Caro. He was using Brooke for sex, and refused to marry her. Brooke is the one who was manipulating to break up Taylor and Ridge’s marriage! Brooke lied about having slept with her HUSBAND Eric to try and convince Ridge that Bridget could only be their daughter. Even then, Ridge loved his wife Taylor and didn’t want to leave her.
DeleteRidge truly loved Taylor, Bell Junior rewrote the history his parents created because it didn’t fit his Logan only agenda. Ridge was a royal tosser but it’s not true that he was never with Taylor without some sort of manipulation being at play.
In the beginning they very much showed that he used Brooke for his ego and sex. He never considered her an equal (look how he played her feelings over the BeLieF formula). She wasn’t marriage material just a toy to play with and out back on the shelf.
Bell has now created this great love story blah blah. The fact is throughout the actual history of BnB it’s Brooke we see manipulating, lying, getting pregnant with trap babies etc to get her man!!!! Not Taylor!

Mmysh, agreed! Taylor sees things through her distorted lens. Well to be fair, many characters on the show do that. But yeah, Taylor does have a legitimate concern. She’s worried Thomas is gonna be the one who gets hurt and rejected, which could indeed send him back to the Thomas we know and don’t like!! That’s probably how we’ll see him revert back to old Thomas…when Hope decides she’s finished toying with his heart and she dumps him. He talks a good game now because Hope is acting interested and he believes she will ultimately fall in love with him. But I don’t think that’s how this is gonna go.

I was complimenting Taylor when she advised steffy to never give up her marriage but now not so much
She forgot how she herself started the domino effect that lead to the shooting? She came to LA and she immediately started to convince Steffy that she would be able to recognize if Sheila is still crazy.
She made Steffy invite Sheila to her home.. To hold Hayes. She encouraged a relationship between Finn and Sheila. She failed to notice that Sheila was losing her mind again when she went on and on about how she dislikes Brooke even if a blind man could see the hate in Sheila's eyes. Taylor was so happy that someone thinks she is better for Ridge that she couldn't see how unhinged Sheila acted. What about the fact that Steffy and Finn were scared to testify because Bill said that he would put Taylor in jail if they do? If Taylor wouldn't be such a mess Sheila could be in jail today! Now she screams at poor Finn and demands he does something, but just like Li this genius isn't able to say what he should do. They both act like they want Finn to kill Sheila. Finn is really too patient with the crazy women around him 😂😂
So she has the right to see something good in sheila once but not her son to have some conflicted feelings

But some things just needs to be told when certain characters speaks about her when they should look in the mirror first

ReplyDeleteOh Brooke, of course!! “I JUST, don’t want Taylor blaming my daughter for ANY of this”!! Says it all.. Well, Brooke, so it’s still Thomas’s fault in your eyes!! Typical.. The discussion was about how stressed Taylor has been with Steffy and how Ridge should have told Taylor sooner about Thomas, and that Taylor is right about how this can affect Thomas, and all Brooke is concerned about and has to say is that!! Well sorry, Hope started all of this and is using Thomas’s feelings for her own selfish benefit, despite initially promising everyone she knows how it could affect him and she would “never” jeopardise his progress like that.. then turns around and does the complete opposite!! So Brooks, if “your daughter” is not to blame for “ANY” of this, then who is?? Hope told Taylor the same, that she was wrong for kissing Thomas in Rome and that nothing else will happen, and now she is sprung, she waltzes in to Brooke and Ridge screaming bloody murder!! She knows damn well what she is doing is wrong, and she is now panicking cause she is worried Taylor will talk Thomas out of their “agreement”!!
ReplyDeleteI agree "Brooke's daughter" is to blame and would be to blame if Thomas derails again. It was a different thing when she "just" rehired him, it was still a big risk but then I'd say it's his responsibility above all. Now I still think he should be more careful and aware of the risks, but Hope is absolutely shameless in *starting* this insane co-parents with benefits knowing what is at stake. Knowing someone's history and going for a sex relationship like this is awful. She can repeat her disclaimer all she wants, she'll still be to blame if (when) it all blows up. Unfortunately I don't believe Taylor will be able to talk Thomas out of the agreement. He's way in too deep.

And the cherry on top is when she begs him to say she's the one over and over. I am 💯 sure if Thomas were to put his foot down and say enough, and started dating others, Hopes true feelings would certainly come to light.. I feel as though she does love Thomas but because Brooke demanded her not to go back to Thomas, and Liam put the whole I don’t want you but I don’t want Thomas to have you, remember this and that manipulation.. But if she is not willing to comity for what ever reason, she should not be doing this to Thomas, knowing how deeply he loves her…
