Hasn't Charlie been with Pammie for centuries? He called himself such a loser with love. We don't need to see whatever Eric or anyone else coughs up, excretes or any other bodily function. They can just say what they see. We don't need to see it. We can't watch and snack if they show that stuff. The commercial of someone's hideous toenail fungus was a frozen ad we had to stare at. What happened to Windex or Spic-n-Span? Although, don't show what you wipe up either. Ok then Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I can't think of anything gross for those ads, but maybe they will come up with something.
ReplyDeleteYes, Charlie & Pam have been a couple for a long time. The statement about being a loser with love didn't make sense. Seriously, Pam wouldn't keep baking lemon bars for Charlie if she didn't love him. Please, no more scenes of Eric coughing into a hanky!

ReplyDeleteOkay so Lauren being surprised Eric isn’t in the CEO office is daft since she’s been there loads of times since Ridge and Steffy became Co-CEOs in fact she was in that office with Ridge, Brooke etc on previous episodes. Bad bad lazy writers 🙄🙄🙄.
Eric is still obsessing over a stapler that was thrown out over 10 years ago! He’s clearly not thinking clearly.
Esther is a sweetheart. She was Katherine Chancellor’s maid for decades. It’s nice to see her having some fun.
Donna should tell the family. It’s unfair for the family to have no idea he’s dying and has such a short time left. They would want to come back from Europe etc to spend what time he has. It has nothing to do with pity. They would want to make as many memories as possible with him.
RJ is going to blame himself forever if he doesn’t tell and finds out Eric is dying and he helped keep his family from being there for him.
I’m laughing, Catherine was buddies with Stephanie and was such a classy lady.
She and Eric didn’t get on very well. Especially since she outed him when he was keeping Stephanie from finding out Forrester was under her sole ownership!
Eric is going to end up being taken away in an ambulance from the fashion show. I think he’ll try and install RJ as new CEO , what could possibly go wrong lol??
Is Lauren the character someone mentioned might have something to do with Deacon and Sheia?

BBFAN, it’s really sad that you can’t seem to eek out some credit for Donna when she clearly adores Eric. It seems very clear to me that the money is the least of her concerns. Donna (what ever her real name is) has proven to be a really good actress. She was always just window dressing before the recent episodes. But what I see is that Eric is her one true love! I’m sure you see it too, you just don’t want to admit it.
DeleteAs far as today’s episode goes…not impressed. And could those women who were there for the fashion show have been any more pulled and lifted? They look like aliens. That’s plastic surgery gone wrong!! The whole show seemed incredibly corny and unnatural.
I think I’m the only one who couldn’t care less about the bloody handkerchief. They need to keep showing us so we know the extent of his coughing up blood. They are trying to set the stage for the viewers that he is deathly ill. If the fashion show is tomorrow (most likely Friday) and Eric tells his family about his illness after the show is over, that seems reasonable. He just wants to win fair and square. He will still have 6 months to spend quality time with his family. Although we know he isn’t really gonna die since his contract was extended.

DeleteLynn I also wonder the same about the attitude towards Donna and especially I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anything like that towards Quinn who was an outright criminal (who can even count all her crimes) who cheated on Eric with his son! No matter how devoted Donna is and no matter what she does she will be criticized. But on the other hand, we see her, we see the genuine love, care and worry in her and yes the actress is doing a splendid job.

I didn't like Stephanie much. She was somekind of a hard woman. And was mean sometimes. They both did wrong in their marriage. But I thought they'll be together forever. I don't remember when Stephanie died. First she was a Taylor fan against Brooke. But when I watched again, that was totally changed

DeleteI generally think that the attitude towards Eric can't and shouldn't be as towards any of the other characters and the judgment I see here is too much towards an ailing man. He is ill, he is dying and I can't even begin to imagine what it's like trying to come to terms with that while your mind is not the same due to the illness. He wants to hold on to life, the life he knows and cherishes and I'm getting sick of the "selfish" comments. He's not reacting as any of the younger healthier ones would expect because - surprise - he's not one of them! Some empathy really wouldn't hurt.

DeleteMilla, so true…..none of us know what it would feel like to be told we have just 6 months to live. I have a feeling Eric is going to come clean soon. Or as others have said, something will happen that will let everyone know he is deathly ill.
Milla, I empathise but excluding his children and being snide about it isn’t okay either. He is being selfish by denying everyone who loves him the chance to spend his last remaining months with him. He has children across the globe who would want to be there and love him and support him through what is coming!
DeleteHe’s letting his pride and ego deny those left behind the opportunity to be there and he will leave them with terrible regrets forever if he shuts them out and just dies suddenly. Donna will and RJ will bear the resentments of the other family members and it is completely unfair to ask them to grieve and keep this secret and lie to the family.
No he is letting the sickness and the fear dictate his behavior because it's out of his control. Again - judging him the same way as a healthy man is unreasonable. If he was his normal self he would realize all this, but he is *not*.

I remember the name Lauren, but don't remember the face 🤔 I don't know who are they talking to at the show. I watched not regularly, so I don't remember so much at the past. Eric coughes blood and Ridge sees it or he is passing out. Something happens at the show.
ReplyDeletePatologi you probably don’t remember the face because it’s hardly the same face anymore 😅 when Lauren lasr visited (after Sheila was "mauled") it took me forever to realize it's her before they mentioned her name. I must say the body is amazing and she does look "younger" but all the face work is quite obvious.
DeleteLauren Fenmore is a cross over from the Young and the Restless. She is a business woman who was involved with the Forrester men many years ago and remained close to the family.
DeleteTracy Bergman ( I think that’s how one spells it) has had a lot of work done. She looks very different to her younger self. She had epic battles with Sheila who made her life hell.

I agree, Patologi….it’s annoying that you can’t edit your comments if you notice an autocorrect or typo. We have to delete the entire comment and repost. I always copy and paste my old comment then edit as necessary and republish. But it’s still a pain.

Eric divorced Donna because she cheated on him with a much younger man. He gave most of his remaining Forrester shares to her in the divorce. She then quickly sold them to the Forrester arch enemy, Bill Spencer. Who then with help of the Logans kicked the Forrester family out of Forrester!

I don’t know any character on the show that hasn’t cheated. Eric cheated on Stephanie many times. Oh I take that back, I don’t think Finn has cheated….yet !! Lol.
DeleteAnd it doesn’t take away from the fact that Donna adores Eric with all her heart. She isn’t even married to him and has no idea what his will includes. She may not even be mentioned in the will.

That would be a longest book I've ever seen 😁 I have some medical conditions that are worsening my memory. I tried to learn Europe's flags but the next day I remembered just one new flag 😭
I’m wondering while Lauren is in town if something will happen with her and Shiela for sure. Who is the actual biological mother of Finn? Is it actually Lauren. I’m thinking it might be as I seem to recall she lost a baby around the time Finn would have been born. Perhaps Shiela’s baby wasn’t given to his Dad. It could have been Lauren’s.

I can’t believe with everything going on at Forrester with this fashion, the MAIN receptionist, Pam, is cooking lemon bars instead helping in this really busy time?? How stupid of the writers..!! Esther is such a sweetheart, I vaguely remember her, but I never really got into , or had time to watch the Y&R.. I can see Eric winning this, then he still won’t tell anyone in the family what is going on, because he will then focus on taking his office back, which he knows won’t happen if he tells them he is dying.. Everyone will tell him he can’t run Forrester while he is dying and so sick, so I can see him continuing to keep this secret, unless something happens at the showdown?? Or mayb after he wins in his spearhead he will announce it??

Yes, the buyers don't know. I'm sure they all want Eric's designs 😁 But his secret will come out at the show, I'm sure. I've been told that his doctor is there and everyone hears what he is telling 🤔 I'm not sure about that.
