  1. The stupidest line of the day goes to Ridge when he said regarding Eric's status, "No change. What does that mean?" πŸ˜‚πŸ₯΄πŸ˜‚

    1. If Ridge "accidently" steps on the cord, is that still 'pulling the plug' if the machine goes haywire?

    2. How long do people have to work at Forrester before they can dip into the fashion coffers? Luna seems to be wearing designer clothes, because I'm not seeing them at Walmart. Zende is just bummed because RJ beat him to ingratiating himself into Eric's work.. Now Zende looks like he's just there for inheritance purposes.

    3. Don't worry about Taylor too much. Killing Taylor doesn't mean she's dead forever. She can come back anytime. She lost her memory after the crash in the jungle, then she was living with some Masai Warrior who told her she was his wife for finding her in the bushes.

    4. I’m would think people working at Forrester make decent money on a pay scale based on the specific job. Somehow an intern at Forrester probably doesn’t need to shop at Walmart.
Zende earns money as a designer here and did previously at his other places he worked as well.
It’s not actually called pulling the plug. When weaning someone from a ventilator or disconnecting the ventilator that determines if the person can support vital organs to continue functioning on their own.
Finn explained to the family members present that Eric’s lung function currently won’t support weaning him off the ventilator currently. Otherwise what would happen is short trials of lowering the levels of support with it. If that is successful, then short periods of not using the ventilator.
Generally a respiratory therapist gets involved at that point incase bag valve mask or more is needed while the trial of weaning from the vent is occurring.

If it becomes impossible to ever wean off of the vent then the family typically would be called into a meeting with a full medical team to discuss that. Ridge would then have to make the decision as his substitute decision maker on how to proceed. Keep him permanently on the ventilator or wean him off of it with knowing that Eric might not be able to support his own vital organs.
Should he decide to keep him in the vent; then Eric will need to be transfered to alternative care where someone on a 24 hour basis with proper medical training can manage his medical needs / vent needs / body & skin care needs as well.

    5. Big fan, I agree. I don't think the intern shops at Walmart. My money is on Target 🎯! πŸ˜‚

    6. Very true Bigfan.. Eric has been coughing up blood for a while, so his lung function was not good to begin with.. the lungs will need time themselves to recover.. And at his age, his recovery is much slower.. It has to be done in stages as you described, because when a person is on oxygen for a long period of time, they become reliant on it, then it makes it much harder to wean them off it.. This is why Finn is in a hurry to take Eric off the ventilator as soon as possible.. The longer he is on it, the more reliant on it he becomes, then the weaning process becomes harder and longer.. They have to be more patient and wait for him to recover at his own pace.. He also has make a lot more blood on his own, because he lost so much, and they can’t give him a blood transfusion, because of the procedure they did, it would be like watering down his blood without all the new manipulated T cells they introduced, and would defeat the purpose.. when he creates his own blood, he will create all of what they introduced along with it, if that makes sense?? The family needs to be more patient and give him time at his age and in his condition.. I think this is headed towards a Christmas miracle theme!!

    7. Thanks for explaining the procedure and recovery issues with blood tranfser and pulminary functions/ disfunction. Beside that this family drama for 10 episodes now are quite boring.

    8. Colly and Bigfan thank you very much for explaining the situation regarding Eric. I appreciate your input. ☺ ☺ ☺

    9. No worries, I just think it’s more interesting for people to watch when they actually understand what’s happening.. the writers are not good at that side of things, it’s always just medical jargon no one understands and then the family saying a hundred times oh is he going to make it?? That’s boring!! At least when u understand it your more engaged..

  2. We keep hearing about everyone’s concern about Eric’s suffering, but what about the viewers who have to endure these boring episodes week after week??!!!! ☹️☹️☹️

    1. I agree πŸ‘ This lasts too long. Hopefully he wakes up at the Christmas πŸ˜€

    2. Lynn, the most we can hope for our pain & suffering is a Christmas miracle where Eric wakes up. More recovery will be needed, so Donna will be busy keeping her Honey 🍯 Bear 🐻 hydrated. She will still be crying, but they will be tears of joy. The drama will change to Eric wanting to let him go which will cause a rift between Father & son. Sigh.

    3. Agree Lynn, it's becoming too redundant now to even watch. Maybe next yr we'll see some kind of new story line's (plural) not just 1. It's like watching the same commercials. You don't miss much.

    5. @Milla Hi Milla, Happy holidaysπŸŽ„ It is becoming a bunch of pathetic nonsense on this soap. Well, this is going to be my first Christmas without my father being around, it feels so empty without him to celebrate.

    6. Happy holidays lovely Elizabeth ✨nothing can replace a lovely dad. I’m thinking of you.
And yes the soap is πŸ™ˆπŸ™ˆ

  3. You don't need to study in art/designer university or anything. You can be a designer just like that. I don't like Ridge. He makes me dislike RJ because he is somekind of a super child who is better than anyone else 😁 I bet that lasts a lifetime, we'll see that πŸ‘ Ridge's fault. I'm jealous to RJ. And If I'm jealous, that does somekind of dislike though I don't want that. Why can't they do the final collection all together. RJ just hasn't experience yet. Zende is right. He is like an outsider at the company. I feel sorry for him. Ridge can't be in charge because he is not fair. Eric wants to live, not just be alive. He is angry about waking up surrounded by machines, just laying in bed with others help.

    1. My jealousy is kind of weird at the series, it's not the same in real life πŸ˜… If my friend wins in lottery, I'm not jealous to her. But why this happens only in soap land, I'm too weird πŸ˜…

  4. What do you think, does Eric wake up as a healthy man?

    1. Patologi, I think this whole story line is headed for a “Christmas miracle” ending.. perhaps they decide on Christmas Day to turn off the ventilator expecting Eric to die, but he doesn’t, and opens his eyes!! Who knows at this stage??

  5. I can see how Zende feels like an outsider. It's odd that Ridge, Steffy, and RJ would leave Forrester to go to the hospital without Zende. He was right there! I wonder if Luna putting her hand on Zende's shoulder will lead to a hug. Then Zende might move in for a kiss.
Ridge is annoying me more and more every day. There's still a chance the procedure might work. It might take some time. Ridge is acting like Eric should wake up immediately and design a gown in the hospital.

    1. Forever, I agree with everything you said.. I can understand why Zende feels the way he does.. Ridge could have asked him to come, he senses Zendes insecurities, yet does nothing to make him feel that he is part of the family.. And his constant “I knew I made the wrong choice” is really getting on my nerves.. Does he expect Eric to just bounce off the bed five minutes after surgery.. Not realistic of the writers..

  6. I can see Zende playing on Luna’s sympathy for him to move in on her to get back at RJ.. He will try to kiss her and RJ will see it and think she cheated on him!!

  7. Writer's, Producers, etc: It is time to bring back FELICIA AND Kristen and It is nice to see Thorne! Also where is Taylor for Support for her Children?

  10. Is it me or every others has a same feeling I Don't Like RJ at all my vote goes to Zende

  11. I really suffered through today's episode just a load of repetitive crap. Must admit I am really disliking the way Zende is treated. He certainly isn't treated, like a beloved member of the family, hell he isn't even treated like a valued member of the company. This is really getting irritating. Ready for a new story line.
