DeleteOkay now I'm completely lost regarding who knows what about the Emma chasing. Thomas' involvement wasn't news to Hope. Did she or didn't she know *why* Thomas was following Emma? If all was clear around that story to everyone, why are they even bringing it up now? There must be some element which is important that could make a difference to Hope. I hope it's not only to start this feud between Thomas and Finn and bridge towards a Finn and Hope storyline (even though anything to end the Thope is a good direction).
ReplyDeleteFinn is definitely laying it on thick when it comes to Hope 😅 I've never seen him talk like this about anyone except for Steffy. And did I hear "as long as I live and breathe you'll never be with Hope" 😅🤩lol.
Finn has never seemed hotter to me than in those last minutes of this episode 😍
Even though it did come out of the left field this sudden fixation on Hope, but that's BB for you. Always dropping bombs and then stretching the storyline, instead of building up to a good revelation.
Deleteif i remember correctly, zander broke into thomas' car & has a gps or something that proves thomas was at the scene of the wreck. so although he may not have actually run her off the road, he stood there and watched and didn't call 911.

DeleteAs I remember flo got out off prison as a deal with ridge (he did that without even consulting with the concerned people his wife and her daughter and liam) she got out in exchange not to testify against Thomas
DeleteAnd deleting the GPS records is a significant element so apparently its was only Xander words against a powerful wealthy family
As thomas threatened xander once
So no i feel they are trying to change the what happened
But the episodes are there
So if Tommy boy is really changed
And now he will be hope‘s husband
so why won't he tell Hope that he drugged Liam, that he actually was happy that Emma died and he refused to call 911 for her?
That he wrote the letter that was supposed to be from Caroline? That he scared Douglas on purpose
That he was fantasizing about Hope's whole family including Beth being dead? That he was hiding Sheila's secret that was meant to hurt Hope's mom? Maybe because... He didn't change?!
Isn’t that enough for the caring good person hope is
From yesterday’s episode and today Hope tearing up when she heard Xanders name and reminded herself of that painful time when she thought that Beth is dead
DeleteThis was absolutely ridiculous that she is still traumatized by it, but when she looks at Thomas she isn't reminded about it? So now Xander, Flo and Buckingham are probably still a reminder of that time, but not saint Thomas?! Come on! 🤣

Mmysh I think that Thomas doesn't even realize most of those things that he's done. That's one of the worst things about the character writing - they are never thematized and resolved properly. He did them, people were shocked or outraged in the moment, and then life goes on. They just don't want to deal with what they wrote.
DeleteAnd I think Steffy knows Hope should be all the way out. She knows she can't be all the way in, so it's her way to push her out.
Same with the "still traumatized" thing. How can she not be traumatized by the only person who dragged her to the roof to kidnap her on a helicopter to keep her away from her baby? That was the whole culmination of the story and still it's forgotten.

Finn nailed it when he said he sees right through Thomas! He knows Thomas is as unstable as ever. And Thomas proved that with his beady little eyes glaring at Finn, and his “Understand??!!” comment.
So many viewers think Thomas’ bad deeds are comparable to others on the show, but Finn nailed it in saying….”Your mistakes aren’t little blunders, Thomas!”
It was also great when Finn said…….”Just because you weren’t charged, doesn’t mean you aren’t guilty!! You are a bad person, Thomas!!” Bravo Finn!!!!! Bravo !!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hilary so good to see you! And you’re speaking my mind. Thomas is who he is. Even though a part if me feels really bad that characters keep dragging out of him that evil man that he is trying to bury, if he never showed any remorse for Emma or the other things he did, that speaks the loudest. He is probably the only one character (apart from Sheila) who has such wide discrepancy between magnitude of his mistakes and level of genuine, not just-because-he-got-caught level of remorse. And as soon as someone threatens to take what he got (Hope) you see directly the eyes flickering and the brain wheels turning into an evil manipulative direction. And the way he's trying every time to manipulate Hope into loving him... Not okay.

He killed some old‘s man son and became his friend for long he has at the end to confess to him the whole truth even if the cost was that man didn’t want to see him again
All the stories of redemption are that way
Saving a un expensive fashion line and keep a good behavior while he has everything he wants is not a redemption
Let him confess to hope what he did the letter, Douglas, drugging liam, keeping Sheila’s secret, emma
Even if it means losing her
Until then he is still the same and not redeemed at all

DeleteSure Finn hasn't heard even 1/5 things that happened through the years. Finn feels Hope is a saint. Are there coming some feelings towards Hope.. friendly yes, but I think maybe more feelings.. Finn and Steffy are going to have arguments. Finn wants to keep Hope away from Thomas. He should then divorce Steffy and marry Hope 🤔 I can see it happening in the future.

addressing " Debbieinnorway " I too am hoping the best for Thomas. I love his character on the show, evil or not, and love the chemistry with Hope, but my moral compass went south I guess, or so I'm told. Hope did leave him for dead but that's ok. Rules of the blog..don't comment on anything unless it's addressed to you. If you have a different opinion, it can get nasty. Not many of the bloggers say much anymore for that reason. Here comes a long post, hockey night so I just binged watched the past episodes.
DeletePoppy and Bill? I can see Poppy as an exploiter and try and take Bill for money, making him think he is the father. Until a paternity test. Maybe then the real father will be exposed.
Finn and Steffy will be done soon. Finn now is becoming obsessed with Hope. And the battle begins. Thomas against Finn.
D - I don’t see Poppy doing that (exploiting Bill) only because she doesn’t seem to care about money very much. But also, if there was any indication that she was going to tell Bill he was Luna’s father, I’m sure he’d probably want a paternity test to be sure.

Lynn I can see a long drawn out story with Poppy and Bill. She doesn't care about money? We don't know that yet. According to Luna she's lived a carefree lifestyle. She doesn't seem to have a job. Sounds like Bill met her at a Coachella type festival. We already saw her popping pills. Then there's Li and her determination to keep them away. Who knows where they're going with this, but agree. I don't think Bull will be the father.

But based on Luna’s description of her childhood and the kind of free spirit her mom has always been, she just doesn’t seem like a person who would go after a rich man’s money. And she had to be convinced to go on a date with him. But you’re right that we know very little about her at this point. So it’s possible. I know that Luna is in the opening credits now, so she’ll be around for a while. But don’t remember if Poppy is as well??

DeleteLynn I somehow don't think the Emma story itself will deepen, rather it will be the feud between Finn and Thomas and Hope will first be on Thomas side (while actually realizing she doesn't trust him) and then sth happens and she has a thing with Finn. Some version of that. I hope I'm wrong and they go all in what happened that night but I see the lazy writing on the wall already.

I think it would be hard to make a case for vehicular manslaughter based on what happened that night. A more likely scenario (if this was real life) would be that Emma's family could sue Thomas in civil court for wrongful death. I am also confused about who knows what about what happened that night. Did Thomas admit to Ridge that he was following Emma too closely? To Steffy? To Hope?

ReplyDeleteNo one noticed or commented on the conversation between Finn and Hope that she kept holding onto her chest to keep that ring on the chain from showing. She kept it on the chain, when she should have given it back to Thomas. She is so leading Thomas on by wearing it even around her neck. Hope isn’t that gullible and stupid that she doesn’t realize by keeping the ring is worse and hiding it from everyone is going to be her downfall. JUST GIVE THOMAS THE RING BACK AND GET IT OVER WITH DUMBASS HOPE!!

ReplyDeleteWe all know that Thomas has done some really horrible things over the years, yes.. but Hope has too done a one horrible thing to Thomas and that is when she accidentally pushed him into a vat of acid and Brooke pushes Thomas off of the cliff - so does Finn knows anything about these two things that have happened to Thomas? Because i can't remember if Steffy have told about those things to him.
ReplyDeleteHope didn't push anyone into anything, Thomas lunged at her and she stepped aside and he fell. And even if Steffy does tell Finn about her silence after (which was tortured and one day long, she was about to confess), that won't make Finn believe they are any more suited for each other than he does now 😅 and Brooke has nothing to do with their suitability anyway.

ReplyDeleteThey are still a couple. They just haven’t been on in a while. Sheila is still working as a waitress at Il Giardino and Hope still is very upset with her dad for being in that relationship. Oh and I think Bill put Sheila on notice the last time we saw her.
