ReplyDeleteGo for it Finn. A person can only take so much, then he needs to make life easier instead of cleaning up messes of a constant drama queen looking for attention. Steffy shot Sheila first, and that little tidbit seems to always be overlooked.
DeleteRidge thinks he can boss the cop around just because he pays bribes to mishandle his monster children's murder cases. He should cool it and act like they aren't doing anything wrong sweeping their crimes under the rug. A little less 'tude, Ridge. Finn doesn't owe Steffy anything. He's just not a good obedient peasant like Liam will be. Hope move on in!

Exactly..she was probably suffering ptsd from the first time, when Sheila shot Finn and then her, as well as all the other things she saw over the yrs. She needs the support right now from her husband, and he's not there.
DeleteD , she absolutely would have PTSD for sure, anyone would.. But the police won’t take the that fact or the forgotten restraining order against Sheila into account.. It will come down to the fact Sheila was unarmed, and the confrontation earlier that day where Steffy said she would feel safe only if Sheila were dead.. And Finn really needs to stand by her and his family, but it’s so obvious why the writers went this way!! Just ridiculous!! I guess it’s the only way the writers could drive a wedge between them after everything they’ve been through together??

Mmysh, I know and agree, and many characters are called not nice things on a regular basis, and I myself have in the past been guilty of that and said not nice things about the Logens, and in turn those who dislike the Forresters have called them some very not so nice things on many occasions as well.. but again, it’s part and parcel for a blog and as D rightfully said, I think sometimes we just have to take some things said with a grain of salt!! These are just fictional characters, so we shouldn’t get so wrapped up in what is said.. We can all see where this is headed, it’s so obvious!!
DeleteThe Hogan thing is dumb. I was actually just commenting on Mandy’s reference to Hope always going after men “when they are at their lowest point.” I don’t think there’s any part of Hope that’s “going after Finn” at this point anyway. I think she genuinely just feels sad for him.
DeleteAnd D, yes, I think that Finn is being over-the-top in his reaction to Sheila’s death for sure. But it’s to set the stage for what’s to come for Finn and Hope. The writers seem to be taking us down that path.
I agree Lynn, Hope is just trying to be compassionate to Finns feelings about this for sure, and yes, Finn should not be acting this way towards Steffy at all.. the things he said to her were unfair and hurtful, when all she tried to do was defend herself.. All Hope is trying to understand everyone’s feelings including her dad..

Yes I got your point, but perhaps Many is referring to the time Hope returned after she found out there were trouble between Steffy and Liam when Liam made out with Sally spectra and Bill got Steffy drunk after finding her at the guest house and Steffy slept with Bill.. Hope did pop up all of a sudden and ended up sleeping with a still married and conflicted Liam who’s wife was pregnant.. The paternity test showed Kelly was Liam’s, but it still didn’t stop Hope sleeping with a still married man with a pregnant wife.. no divorce papers were drawn up from memory?? I could be wrong on that.. but still, a saintly Hope still slept with a married man with a pregnant wife after being in Paris for many years prior, and she fell pregnant to a married man.. Then rushed a quickly wedding insisting Liam leave a pregnant Steffy to be with her because she ended up falling pregnant after cheating with him.. perhaps that’s one example Mandy was referring to?? I am not sure, but I would not say that Hope has not gone after taken men!! That’s not the first time either.. She almost lost her HFTF line due to the same thing.. So I believe these may be the things the Mandy is referring to?? But in this particular case, at present, I don’t believe Hope has any ulterior motives..

Anyway hope were helping liam without any agenda and even talked to steffy and steffy asked her to do that
All her concern was the unborn baby and still she didn’t still know the real reason and even after she still wanted liam to forgive steffy
When she slept with him he and steffy already signed the annulment papers after the bill‘s manipulation but this time as u know it was against steffy
And liam proposed to her that night
Even if hope is my favorite but you know that i call her out when in my opinion she screwed up or do hypocritical actions
But that period or storyline wasn’t as some would like to portray
Mmysh my memory isn’t as good as yours, but what I do remember was that Steffy walked in on Hope and Liam in the dressing room, about to do the deed, and I am pretty sure that they were still married then.. But, she almost lost her HFTF line also because she was living with, if my memory serves me correctly , if not please remind me, with a married Liam?? So my point is, she is not as innocent as some believe, but no one on this show is.. It’s just a merry go round!! And everyone’s perceptions of who they do and don’t like is different..

My memory tells me that Hopes Fans went against her because and were going to abort her line because of the messages she preached through the line and they found out she was messing around and not 💯 sure but living or moved in with Liam of something along those lines.. it was her fans angry that she was preaching but involved behind the scenes with Liam who was with Steffy at the time? That’s what I meant by her almost losing the line..

Lynn Steffy picked up the knife and Sheila kept walking towards her, Steffy warned her over and over to get out and that she would do it, then she lunged at her.. only Sheila would be stupid enough to lunge at someone holding a big ass knife!! But I do have a gut feeling that we havnt seen the last of her somehow, despite what the spoilers and Kimberlin has said.. I think the person from Sheila’s past will come into play somehow, but it was Sheila’s voice when she lunged at Steffy?? So who knows!! The only way to definitely know is the autopsy if there is a missing toe??

I always knew he really cared about psycho Sheila. Love is blind. Lol.
It’s true that Steffy should not have confronted Sheila the way she did, and poked the bear, but having said that, Sheila keeps saying she is not a danger any longer and has changed, but obviously not.. Given she did try, but she has put Steffy through so much, and as I said, love or hate Steffy, after what Sheila has done to her, no one can really blame Steffy for being constantly on gaurd, looking over shoulder all the time, and she was right not to trust Sheila’s whole, I am not a psycho or danger anymore.. They both brought what happened on each other imo.. but Steffy did what any person would have done in that situation , given Sheila’s past history with her..

In all fairness Mmysh, Steffy told Sheila not to touch her and on both occasions, Sheila put hands on Steffy first and Steffy reacted, as anyone would given their history together.. Should she have been there, no I don’t think she should have.. but steffy saw a photo of her daughter with Sheila in the background smiling looking at her.. Also, Sheila did a bit of shit stirring by smiling and saying Kelly wasn’t scared of her, an a couple other snarky things to get to Steffy.. The second time she put her hands on Steffy and push her into the lounge and lunged at her again hands going for the throat.. People are putting emphasis that steffy punched Sheila, but this time, both times it was Sheila who initiated it.. if deacon and Finn didn’t come in when they did, Sheila in her rage would have choked her to death.. So imo no steffy shouldn’t have gone there, but the cat fights were Sheila put hands on first, both times..

Why can't anyone feel a bit of empathy towards Finn? Surely someone amongst all of you can understand how conflicted he is feeling right now. Yes he was adopted and Li was the mother he never knew. But he still had love for her in his heart regardless.

AussieDeb, I can understand him hurting over this, but to treat Steffy the way he did, was really wrong.. Steffy shouldn’t have to apologise to him for what happened.. He barely even knew Sheila, and yes she gave birth to him and he has a connection to her, but he has been ranting about how Steffy and the kids are most important to him, and he will protect them from Sheila, then Steffy has to protect herself, and he treats her that way?? He just finished telling Hope all the horrific things she put Steffy through going right back to Steffies childhood.. and it’s perfectly ok with him that Sheila goes around trying to take life after life, but when his wife has to protect herself it’s not ok? Come on!!

DeleteDeb, I do feel for Finn and the conflicted feelings he probably has. But this was a woman he only knew for the past few yrs. Does he love her? I think not, he doesn't have the bond with her like he does Steffy. Steffy is showing she is so sorry and has apologized many times and needs her husband right now for support. And what does Finn do?, run out. He is showing no empathy right now. That's why I'm a little turned off of Finn. I thought he loved her unconditionally. Right now he's turning his back on her.

Thank you ladies. She was a beautiful person, big heart and always smiling no matter what she was feeling. That's the last pic I have of her before she passed. She was ecstatic she received a 95th happy birthday congrats certificate from the queen. I was a big surprise and always her baby. My sisters are 13 and 12 yrs older than me.

DeleteSheila NEVER done Anything to Stephanie in her past also since she returned to town, Stephanie NEVER gave her a chance. Although I don't condoned Sheila shooting Stephanie and her son Sheila has not been involved in her and Finn lives. Stephanie treatment of Sheila is wrong especially since when Sheila was with Eric Stephanie was a child and did not know Sheila! I can't understand why Stephanie hate Sheila so much since Sheila past in the town Stephanie was a child!

ReplyDeleteI've seen a lot of comments questioning whether Sheila really lunged at Steffy. I don't know if it really matters. Sheila was not supposed to be there. She was told to stay away from them earlier the same day. And I can see how a person would have PTSD. The person who shot you and her own son and left you for dead is in your dark house. You see her reaching in her pocket. You go into fight or flight mode. It's reasonable to think she's reaching for a gun. And, Steffy told Sheila to "get out". I would have stabbed her too.
ReplyDelete100%. Steffy didn't have time to stop and think, should I stab to hurt or stab to save myself. What's strange is the way Lt. Baker, knowing Sheila's past, is almost insinuating Steffy had no reason to stab, Sheila wasn't armed. Maybe 😂, that's who Sheila was secretly meeting and are framing Steffy? OK, I need to stop watching Criminal Minds.

DeleteI think Finn and Deacon are both going to give Chief Baker more reason to take pause. Not sure if Finn will say anything negative to the police chief about Steffy. But it looks like that’s the path that Deacon is going to take. So Steffy may have some additional explaining to do.
DeleteTrue Lynn, but regardless, the chief knows the history, and in reality he it would be an open shut case, but I would love it if it came out that Sheila avoided prison due his calling a flavour from his mate the judge.. but I can see deacon calling in another favour from the judge to put Steffy behind bars!!

DeleteI don’t see this ending up with Steffy behind bars. Chief Baker just has to do his due diligence in the investigation. I see this SL as a means to split up Finn and Steffy and really nothing more.
