ReplyDeleteI think Steffy is the only one that is going to believe Deacon. Everyone else is going to tell him he is delusional. One of the most boring episodes. Skipped through 50% so only saw some of todays. Hopefully Luna will tell RJ tomorrow so it's not drawn out for weeks. Zende is just hoping telling RJ what happened will break them up, and he will be there to pick up the pieces. Snake...even if she was under the influence of something, he still knew RJ and Luna where together. There is no excuse for him.

DeleteWell to me, that won't be too much of an exciting cliff hanger. We left off with Steffy and Finn at the office and Finn saying Deacon insists Sheila is still alive. A good cliff hanger would be, Steffy and Finn get home and Finn repeats what Deacon said...."he saw 10 toes" it wasn't Sheila cremated and we see Sheila peeking in the bushes.?

DeleteBoy, Steffy is all about RJ’s designs for HFTF…..when just months ago, Thomas was the ONLY ONE who could design for Hope. Lol. Classic!! A BRAND NEW designer now has what it takes to design for HFTF because it fits into Steffy’s grander plan. Too hilarious!! And of course Zende is the lead designer now, but before he just wasn’t cutting it. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I thought the same thing about Ridges comment, "Steffy had to put her down". That term is usually used for an animal but Ridge does think of her as animal. It was still cold and heartless.

Mmysh, I seemed to recall Deacon had a drinking problem in the past. What happened to the idea that having one drink turns you back into an alcoholic again? He’s been pounding them! A true alcoholic can’t just turn that off when they feel like it. Just another screwup by the writers. 🙄🙄🙄
DeleteI really don’t like Ridge at all. Not sure what Brooke even sees in him. He is so self-absorbed. Absolutely no regard for anyone other than his kids. And both of them walk on water in his eyes. Sometimes it looks like he’s about ready to start laughing when he’s saying his lines, because even he can’t believe how ridiculous he sounds. They make him out to be such a total jerk!
And yes, the fact that pretty much everyone is qualified to design for HFTF now is beyond absurd!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A year ago, there was no RJ and Zende was still pretty new to the line. However, Zende has been working with Hope and Thomas for the past year and probably has a much better understanding of Hope's vision now. He would also have a year of designing experiencing working closely with Thomas. This will definitely put him in a better place to design for HFTF than he would have been a year ago now that he understands Hope's vision better and has become familiar with Thomas' designs. This storyline is not at all farfetched.

DeleteNo Lynn. Thomas wasn't exclusive. Hope and Thomas have talked about the team from time to time. It was just a matter of focusing on Thomas more because of the relationship between him and Hope but, Zende was always there.
DeleteAnd it's not far-fetched at all. It's the way business works. It's called succession planning. Ensuring that members of the team work together like a well-oiled machine so that in the event one is not available, things don't fall to pieces. The last time Thomas was kicked out, that's exactly what happened. This time, they were better prepared.
Elle, I never once heard of anyone contributing to the line other than Thomas since he returned to FC. Don’t you recall Steffy saying the line was going to be shelved because Zende’s and Eric’s contributions to the HFTF line were NOT successful and that’s the entire reason Thomas needed to return to Forrester. They were losing Los of money because Zende and Eric weren’t cutting it. I think you’re watching a different show. I completely disagree with what you are saying.

Lynn, a year ago, it was only Hope and Thomas on HFTF. That's why when Thomas was kicked out after CPS, Zende and Eric stepped in. However, since Thomas returned, it has been Thomas, Hope and Zende on HFTF. Maybe you're watching a different show or maybe you just missed the episodes where Thomas and/or Hope would refer to Zende working alongside them. For the past year, HFTF comprised Hope, Thomas and Zende. And now, they also have RJ, the world-renowned influencer who became a designer overnight. Over the past year, other designers have stepped up, whether you want to admit it or not. It's a completely different scenario now than it was a year ago, so Thomas having left is not as critical as it was a year ago.
DeleteLynn, there has always been a team for HFTF, but Thomas was the only designer back then that could put Hope's vision on paper at that time. The rest of the team, Zende as one of the designers have been working with Thomas now for the past yr. Hope is telling them they have to step up, or the line will be shelved again. It's not far fetched at all. She doesn't have much of a choice. Eric didn't work out to good either on her visions. Maybe RJ, the world re-known influencer will be the next Thomas. Lol
DeleteAll I know is that it was Hope and Thomas (which was supposedly the “dream team” that everyone always talked about) who went to Rome together. And anytime there was a new design for HFTF it was always Thomas’ design….and Hope would go on and on about how perfect it was. I don’t remember any discussions between Hope and Zende. Not a single solitary one. So if Zende was helping on the sidelines, he sure must not have been contributing much since he was never mentioned when HFTF was discussed. It was a two person team as far as FC presented it.

Lynn that’s right. Ever since Thomas was miraculously absolved and brought back to FC, it's only been him even mentioned. Zende only came to complain that he wasn't included in Eric's collection and he was so vocal about it, you would think if he was significantly involved in anything else, he would have less time to complain. Also whatever happened with Zende (and Eric) not getting that mystic "vision" of Hope's that only almighty Thomas did and that tanked the sales? Seems not such a big issue right now, nothing that a bunch of interns and influencers can't handle 😅😅
DeleteThat's not to say that Zende wasn't involved with HFTF, I believe there was nothing else he could have been doing. But whatever he was doing, wasn't enough to even take him to Rome. Now he is the lead designer who somehow gets the mystic vision enough (with the help of some clip-holding and RJ's talent wherever it came from). I see that there's also nothing else they could be doing considering how they set up things to begin with, but the fact that it's not even a concern how he didn't get it the first time and sales went down, is funny and lazy writing.

I am not sure how many fashion lines FC has at the moment. And they leave Zende’s contributions up to our imaginations in most storylines.

ReplyDeleteRepeat after me, RJ, remember how I kept eating mints at Donna & Eric's wedding & I wasn't feeling well? I later found out they weren't really mints, but, instead they were my Mom's happy pills that I grabbed by mistake. The pills left me in an altered state. After we parted that night, I became incredibly thirsty & saw a bottle of water in the window of Eric's guest room. I went inside, drank the water & fell asleep. To my horror, when I woke up, Zende was there. I was still dazed & thought I had spent the night with you at your place. Zende told me that was not the case & that he & I actually slept together as he mistakenly thought since I was in his bed that I was interested in him. I was and still am mortified. I have been terrified to tell you. Can you ever forgive me?
Luna, then burst into tears & let the chips fall where they may... ðŸ˜
