Poppy saying Bill could be Luna's father, the sudden turn around about not telling who the father is, seems like a con. She laid it on so thick about her love, it doesn't make sense she wouldn't have looked him up earlier. Katy is not happy that these two new floozy's could cut her share of Bill's will and estate. Katy thought it seemed like it would be a smooth transaction. Katy getting everything.
ReplyDelete@Witchypoo You have to remember that after Bill and Poppy met over 20 years ago, he left and never took contact with her again. Maybe she only knew his first name, maybe she wasn't aware of the dynasty he was born to lead eventually, so she had no information about how to contact him. Bill said it himself as well, he regret not contacting Poppy again, and let the family business take up most of his time. Maybe they have kept bypassing eachother for all those years in different ways.
DeleteBecause of this, Poppy was afraid that Bill would reject her, since he hadn't contacted her after their romance. And also then maybe afraid he would reject their daughter. And on top of this, she might have been with another man before Bill, but Bill was the last one she was with before she found out she was pregnant. The shame of not knowing who might be Luna's father might have weighed heavily on Poppy, and she then decided they would make it alone, only the 2 of them.
But after she has gotten to know Bill a bit more now, she dared to tell him, and Luna.

ReplyDeleteUgh Steffy with that ancient old feud again is boring and sad. The only way this can become interesting is if Brooke gets involved in the management and smacks little miss co-ceo because someone should.
Milla, I think Brooke is gonna run FC with Ridge and Steffy. According to the spoilers anyways. She is gonna stop Steffy, I am sure, + isn't Thomas coming back soon as well? And maybe Brooke manages to get Thomas to start working on HFTF again?
DeleteMalin I expect the same, if Brooke gets back to FC management no way she is letting Steffy cut Hope out. About Thomas, will be interesting. I guess he’ll want to work again on his favorite line, it shouldn’t be hard to convince him.
Delete@Milla Maybe Poppy got the self delivered paternity test because she doesn't trust Li to stay out of her business. I don't know we will have to wait and see. And what is Li doing just showing up at Bill's? Is she having Poppy followed. I Hope Bill throws Li out of his home.
DeleteOh yes Li is out of her mind, obsessed with her sister and barging in at Bill's - the billionaire... I also hope Bill kicks her out, she has no business there. Generally I don't really expect Poppy to be messing with the results but somehow don't trust her either, something about her just seems off to me.
DeleteI think that Poppy might be afraid of Li trying to change the results if they were to take the test at the hospital, but she did say to Bill that they could go to the hospital if he would prefer that. Bill said no, he wanted it done in privacy, and also said something about those tests being pretty accurate if I recall?
DeleteLi is jelous of her sisters free spirit, I think, how easily she connects with people, how carefree she is and that she has a positive outlook on life most of the time. She is covering her jelousy in mockery of how Poppy lives her life, how wrong she is to live her life the way that she does etc., but to barge in at Bills like she did in the spoiler... she is out of her mind...
Li is a madwoman for sure. I think Steffy and Li should be related because they are both always angry and out to make others lives miserable. Lol
DeleteI like that Brooke is stepping back in and taking a lead role in FC. Although I see lots of problems getting consensus on things if Brooke and Steffy are running the place together. I like that Hope is standing up for herself more.
Carter lost some points with me on this episode. At first he was saying it would be a drastic move to cut HFTF, and questioned killing Hope’s line. Then all of a sudden he thinks it’s a great idea to kick Hope to the curb.
Ridge may not make a decision on the line at all. He may leave that in the hands of Brooke and Steffy.
I don’t really like Poppy, but I don’t think she’s gonna try to pull a fast one on the paternity. I think she’ll be on the up and up with that. Unless she’s trying to conceal that Luna’s real dad is Jack. But if Li knew Jack fathered Poppy’s daughter, then you’d think she’d say something to Poppy.
I think Lee and Poppy may have already had that falling out if Jack was dad. But then that must have mean that Lee forgave her husband for impregnating her sister as they just recently split. And the reason they split was because jacked lied about not being Finns real father. So I feel if jack was Luna father, lee would have left him years ago as she just did when she found out about his secret love child. This is messy.
DeletePeggy, true. But it has always seemed Li’s intense hostility toward Poppy was unwarranted. Especially when Poppy first arrived in town and Li was demanding she leave. And she was also demanding that Luna go back to where she came from. Li has dialed it back recently, but when Poppy first arrived, Li was on a mission! And her distain for Luna has always been extremely unwarranted.

Now we are having Ridge who is not a major share holder asking Brooke to run the company with him and Steffy and basically as Ridge lives in Brookes drawers he will side with Brooke on decisions so little whiny Hopey will get her way again!!!

Poppy only admitted that bill could be Luna's daddy after she saw the picture of Bill's yacht. And she just so happened to pick up a paternity test on the way. Something is up with poppy. Li might be right about her

DeleteWe have been overlooking that Lee knows something about Poppy, she has so much animosity towards her and can't be simply because her younger sister is a golddigger. There is much more going on between those two sisters. How did Lee here about them taking a paternity test? And why did she feel the need to stop it. And here we go with these lil store brought test that she poppy picked up probably at the dollar store, no offense Dollar store. But then using a low grade DNA test means that somewhere down the line they will discover the results were falls. Is it possible for poppy to rig the test to read Bill is the father? Probably, if what her sister says about her being a gold digger is true. Wouldn't lee know who might possibly be the father. At some point sisters have these type of conversation. Anyway, Lee knows everything. What has poppy done that lee cannot forgive her for. And why was she so on drugs when she seems to be such a mentally calm person. Can't wait for Mondays episode.
ReplyDeleteI don't think these particular sisters would have had that type of conversation. Poppy probably kept her mouth shut because of all the accusations she would have had to listen to (since apparently everyone knows who Bill Spencer is and Li has always thought her sister was a golddigger). Unless it really is Jack, then she had different reasons not to tell her sister. I really hope it's not Jack, that would be a new low for both Jack and her on this show.
DeleteI don't get how Poppy can still be so calm after having quit the drugs (if she spoke the truth), from what it looks like she had been taking them for most of her adult life, it is highly unlikely for her to just quit and not notice any signs of withdrawal.
