I still believe that Hope truly loved Thomas. She was able to overlook and forgive him for everything he did in the past. That is not possible to do unless you genuinely love the person.

Hope and Thomas had extreme chemistry 🔥🔥🔥. She surely acted like she loved him! (Maybe Thomas is Hope's 'destiny'! 😆🤣😝 Just kidding - I couldn't resist. 😉)

DeleteUnknown I loved Thomas😍, and really miss him. The chemistry he and Hope had was 🔥. But was criticized and called many names because some saw that as incest.
DeleteIt looks like Elle is right. I didn't notice Hope's body language because I listen to the show more than I watch (so busy with other things like feeding this massive singing 🎶🎵 dog 🤣) but looking 👁️ @ that scene again had me in complete agreement.
DeleteAll soap 🧼 operas are a little incestuous due to the limited cast so the producers take poetic license in couples which should never be while they downplay how folks are related, such as being on-off step siblings, couple-swapping, and marriages and affairs between in-laws for example. Diagramming soap 🧼 couples would make our heads spin! 😵💫 Most of us are mature enough to understand it's just a dramatic, distracting, addictive tv 📺 show we sometimes love to hate or hate to love and choose not to focus on the absurdity and how utterly wrong these relationships would be in the real world. This reminds me, when my daughter was growing up, she participated in dance for several years and there was a mom @ our studio with a son and daughter taking dance who left her handsome fireman 👨🏻🚒 husband to marry her stepbrother! 😲🫣🤢

DeleteDid Hope and Thomas grow up as sister and brother? I have only been watching the show for 5 years. Her and Steffy sure don't seem to be sisters. So unless they did not consider each other siblings, I don't see it as incest. Finn and Poppy on the other hand... that's a different story, he's her nephew, blood related or not.
DeleteHope was raised by Ridge, Nick, and Nannies. Brooke was too busy getting drunk and chasing men.
DeleteHope and RJ almost burned the house down when a drunk Brooke left them home alone as very small children . Must have been Nanny’s night off.
Thomas and the twins lived for a very short time with Brooke.
However, they didn’t grow up together at all. Hope always queened it over Thomas, Steffy and Phoebe that she lived their dad and he supported her wants over them because of her mum Brooke.
Brooke and Ridge were always on again off again, marrying other people etc.
Brooke always resented “Taylor’s Children” because she was so jealous that she had them with Ridge.
RJ is her only child with Ridge. Hope is still her favourite.
Totally different situation from Poppy and Finn.
I hope they will take it slow. Actually date. Carter needs to keep Daphne at arms length. No more kisses or close conversations. Hey Carter, you might be getting another chance. Don't blow it. How will Deacon feel if they get back together?

I think Drogo 🦮 liked it. He can even sing on queue! When we are watching 'Home Alone', months after Christmas now, one of my toddler grandson's favorite movies, the dog starts singing @ the very first note of the same song 🎶 every time! 😹😂😅

Because before knowing about his untreatable condition. He wanted Hope.
The clip at the end ...Hope with Carter, is the same concern/uncertainty look she had with Thomas while he constantly saying she's the woman for him, asking to marry him.
Sorry but I think Hope neeed to let Carter go. And be single and just be there for Liam, while his going through this life threatening condition.
As well, if Hope goes back to FC and have HFTF back is all because of Liam!!!

I think Liam's talk with Hope made her evaluate her relationship with Carter all the more. Now that she has realized that what they did was wrong, I am 90% certain that she also realizes that she does not really love Carter, only what being with him meant for her. She will let him go. Maybe then, Carter will be able to move on and stop moping around the office.
DeleteI am not supporting what Hope did in any way but I also feel like taking FC from Ridge and Steffy was her operating on her anger about being kicked out from FC and humiliated by Steffy. I don't think she would have done it otherwise.
I would be okay with her going back to FC however, I hope they don't bring back HFTF. That line was costing the company too much and not bringing in sufficient revenue to recoup any losses.
I was just thinking that, too! 🧠🧠 HFTF is passé, Hope can work on another line or be part of a team which creates something new and intriguing.

DeleteI meant that Brooke has been on the Brooke's Bedroom line in forever. If there is no more HFTF, it would be a good idea for Brooke to retire from BB and give Hope a chance to shine. Hope can also be mentored by Brooke as they work together on the line.
That’s assuming Hope gets her job back at Forrester. I actually like Brooke as a model better than Hope. Brooke has a special something up there on the runway. I don’t think Hope has that same pizazz. To me, Hope is just another pretty face when she models.

And with Liam (supposedly) about to kick the bucket, Steffy might feel that Hope would need something to take her mind off Liam being gone (since she doesn't believe that Hope really loves Carter).

For one thing, in the preview for next week with him and Daphne, Carter has on the same shirt and jacket he has on in today's show when he was talking to Hope. I can't imagine that if he and Hope reunite, that he would just go right back to the office. Also, Daphne might walk into the office and see Carter sulking. He will tell her that it is over between him and Hope and she will make her pitch to him about forgetting Hope and giving her a chance.
Brooke is relentless! And people talk about Daphne. Brooke is 100 times worse. Geez!

Daphne is just as relentless. And Daphne and Carter have never even been together. Same old words from Daphne next week. “Carter, you need to think about your future!!” She’s said the same thing over and over and over!! She never needs to study her lines the night before. They are ALWAYS the same!!

Elle, as I’ve already said….there is nothing remotely similar about Brooke’s and Daphne’s situations.

Whereas Daphne has a ‘crush’ on someone she’s known for a few months. They have never dated or had sex….nothing.
So to compare the two is ridiculous. As far as their approach, yes they both need to give it a rest. But Brooke loving Ridge is decades in the making. So again, you are comparing apples and oranges.

I’m saying the situations of the two women are like day and night. Daphne has no reason to assume Carter wants her. He has never said he has, nor has he come on to her. So she is just annoying and pathetic in her relentlessness.
DeleteBrooke on the other hand, is also annoying with her begging. But at least she has good reason to think that Ridge will come around and they will get back together, because it’s happened 100 times before. And Ridge genuinely loves Brooke.
As a viewer I’m annoyed hearing repeat dialogue from many of the characters on the show. It’s mostly all there is because the writing is so poor.

DeleteOk so there you have it. Liam is going to urge Steffie to let Hope have her job back because he would want to see her happy before he leaves. Steffie and hope will bond together to support Liam in his time of need. They will put aside their differences for Liam, only momentarily though. Somewhere down the road the writers will bring back their rivalry. Hope is finally remorseful for what she did so Ridge will see the forgiveness that he is looking for. Maybe if Liam doesn't die, he and ivy could rekindle what they once had. Why hasn't Katie said anything about the Steffie and Daphne plan to break up Hope and Carter. I don't see that coming out soon as it appears she and Hope will come together to support Liam. That won't be very possible if they now have this plot coming out
ReplyDelete@Peggy, the plot with Daphne has nothing to do with Katie or anyone else for that matter, Steffy had every right to pull out all the stops to get FC back. What is everyone going to do anyways when they find out, FC doesn't belong to any of them other than Steffy, Ridge and senile Eric ‼️NOBODY forced Carter to choose FC over Hope, that is what he did. He could have walked out with Hope and started their own company, nice competition for FC.
