ReplyDeleteI like when couples discuss their feelings and try to resolve any issues between them. Ridge and Taylor have always had that. It's nice to see instead of just glossing over the problems and thinking that sex could fix it.
ReplyDeleteRidge told Taylor that he is so in love with her, which confirms what I've been saying all along. There had to be a reason that Ridge always runs to Taylor, and it's not just a reaction to whatever Brooke did. There have always been genuine feelings there.
Someone said yesterday (I think) that they don't like when the kiddies are on but I actually think it's refreshing, and gives the show more of a real, day to day, normal feel. Yes, we know they all have kids but seeing them interact with their parents and life, in general, is refreshing.
I agree with you Elle, it makes it feel more real.

It was me who commented on the acting going into the toilet when the kids are on. It’s not that I mind seeing kids on the show, it’s simply how corny and ridiculous everyone acts - sugary sweet, way, way, way over the top. It’s just too barfy for my taste.

I think this kid playing Hayes I terrible. There, I said it. He's a kid, I know, but he's not a good actor. I've seen lots of good, hammy little child actors, but he's not one of them. 🦨

Lynn, I have been just scrolling through the comments lately and not paying attention to who said what (the show has been pretty boring lately). I know I saw your comment, just didn't know it was you who said it, and I also did not remember the context in which it was said.
DeleteRidge got back to the office at the very end of the show so I was not able to read his reaction to seeing Nick. Maybe tomorrow when they interact more, I will be able to gauge his reaction better.
After Ridge told Taylor that he was in love with her, she made a comment about how she feels their love growing stronger and stronger everyday (or something of the sort). I've said in the past that the longer Ridge and Taylor stay together, the stronger their love will become and the more he will "forget" about Brooke. I'm interested in seeing him interact with Nick tomorrow. He also said that he hopes Brooke finds someone that she can move on with. Let's see if he has really reached that point of not caring who Brooke becomes involved with. Given his history with Nick (and it wasn't all about Brooke. They also have a legit Marone sibling rivalry), he might be opposed to Brooke getting involved with him.
I could be wrong, but when Ridge walked in and saw Nick and Brooke together, there was a kind of look on Brooke's face that made me think that she might use Nick to get Ridge jealous. Maybe that might be the storyline instead of the usual Ridge being jealous.

2. It might seem over the top, corny and ridiculous acting with kids because we are so use to seeing the drama interaction between adults.
3. Elle I do agree with that look Brooke gave when Ridge walked in. It was like "well Ridge what do you think now about our destiny". She's definitely going to use Nick to try and get Ridge jealous. Hope I'm wrong and they just move on.

DeleteRidge is definitely not liking that Nick is there. But we will need to wait and see how jealous he acts. Whether he’s just not happy that Nick is back in town because he doesn’t like him, or whether it’s because Ridge doesn’t want Nick near Brooke. Brooke was definitely eating it up, no doubt about it!!

Brooke has a lot of respect for Nick. I don't see her purposely using him however, I can see Nick wanting to fan that sibling rivalry flame and might suggest that they pretend to be together to get Ridge jealous.

ReplyDeleteI’m still suprised from yesterday that they not only mentioned Jack briefly but they called him Brooke’s son and said that she is video chatting regulary with him. It will be great to see Jack on screen too.
Ridge will probably be jealous of Brooke. He wants him with Taylor but loves having Brooke as an aviable second option too. And when he is with Brooke he loves having Taylor as a second option. Always a woman waiting for him 😒

Brooke needed to tell Nick the truth about why Ridge walked away from her. But no, lies and half-truths is what she does. Their relationship did not end because Brooke "tried to get the company back for Ridge." It ended because Brooke chose to side with her daughter and expected Ridge to understand why Hope got involved in stealing the company. This was further exacerbated by her taking the CEO position without talking to him first.

The conversation between Ridge and Taylor today reminded me so much of the old days when Ridge was totally and completely in love with Taylor and constantly rejected Brooke. I am wondering if Ridge would even care if Brooke gets involved with Nick.
I am also wondering if Electra would run into the lunatic trying to lure Hayes away and they get into it and the lunatic shoots Electra. Everyone has been harping so much on Electra staying away from Luna because she's dangerous. Electra just might find herself in the middle of this.
They mention Electra so much almost in every episode lately that I am thinking the same - that is for a reason and Electra will be involve in the Hayes-Luna story.

Like I said yesterday, it's going to be an exciting week on The Bold and the Beautiful. Having Nick back is nice, let's hope he sticks around. Finally something else to watch besides the same old thing day after day.
