DeleteProbably just a skin cut to get some blood for under the bandage. Since nothing was wrong they better make sure he gets no infections that could make other doctors interested in seeing it. Surgery a success!! Grace is a hero! If she has to say so herself.
DeleteGrace to Bill right before the operation, "there's a matter of money," He is paying her millions she is extorting because there is nothing wrong with Liam. Bad Form old chap, (lady)! ReplyDeleteNot sure what's been happening the past few days, but todays? Buckingham is really pulling a scam here. I don't think they really did anything to Liam except cut him open and stitch him up. She made sure the money was wired. Then miraculously the surgery is over and Liam is cured.🤔 I don't buy it.
D, I agree, that world’s greatest neurosurgeon wasn’t even a doctor!! He’s her accomplice.

Operating on an inoperable tumour would just be stupid.
She just wanted the money. She got shady as soon as she got his prognosis, pushing him to tell his father and pushing him to try treatments etc.
Not to mention her tense phone calls. I think she owes someone a lot of money.
Bill is literally going to rip her limb from limb when he finds out.
How cruel to tell him he’s cured and the tumour is gone. It’s just so cruel.
BBFan I never thought of it that way. I was assuming from the beginning Dr. Buckingham saw a scam coming the way she was acting about the whole brain tumor and I questioned if it was true.

I think Grace is scamming Bill with more and more money saying they need more operations later on (since is unoperatable). Since she sees Bill will do anything for Liam.
The scans could have been from a patient that had an inoperable tumor.
DeleteBut Liam had symptoms. The first one was his blurry vision. He also kept having severe headaches. I believe he had a tumor all along however, I don't know what Buckingham is up to. It's hard to believe she has become just as shady as her ex-husband given that she divorced him when she found out what he did. I'd rather believe that she owes someone a lot of money and when Liam was diagnosed with the tumor, she saw $$$$$.
DeleteElle I could be missing some episodes. Going back to that day at Bill's, he never had any symptoms. Someone mentioned maybe he had a drink of one of Luna's water. After the fight with Bill he starting getting blurry and fell, hit his head and had a brain bleed. He had no symptoms until that day that I recall.
DeleteI do believe Buckingham saw an opportunity to make quick money off Bill. Maybe she is as shady as her ex or she owes someone else alot of money. I don't know. I'm just not buying she did this operation, if it really was an operation, for Liam or Bill's sake. It was only to benefit herself.

DeleteD, it could be that the symptoms he experienced at Bill's could have been triggered because of the heated argument he was having with his dad. Liam became really worked up and told Bill that he quit his job. This then led to him passing out and hitting his head.
DeleteHowever, when he discharged himself from the hospital and ran over to Steffy's for Kelly's daddy/daughter dance (and arrived late), he experienced blurry vision when he was attempting to read her a bedtime story. He could barely see what was on the pages and eventually just made up a story.
Also, when he officially moved in with Finn and Steffy, there were a few times when he experienced really bad headaches (it happened once when he was with Hope too). There was also one time that I recall where the headache was so bad, he stumbled a bit as though he experienced physical weakness together with the headache. So unless something else is going on with him, I am inclined to believe that the tumor is real.
Dynchel, there has been no official spoiler or teaser that confirms your theory however, it is a good one and would certainly explain Liam's symptoms. If it turns out this way, I will be very disappointed in Grace. Imagine having 2 dishonest parents.

Yep. You could be right, D. It would make for an exciting storyline. I also remember Grace insisting that she was Liam's doctor and should be the one to tend to him when he first came into the hospital with the gunshot wound. However, Finn told her to tend to Sheila instead. She seemed a bit adamant to be the one to tend to Liam.

ReplyDeleteI understand Bill feeling guilty and being emotional, but to just wire 1 million dollars without getting a second opinion. He's so rich and powerful but he didn't even check that other "doctors" credentials. That could just be some guy in scrubs. At least in the hospital, the hospital would cover liability. The hospital would also verify this is a real doctor and a legitimate procedure.
ReplyDeleteNo responsible and ethical doctor would perform a surgery (unless it was an emergency) on someone so soon after another surgery. But this is a daytime drama, so anything goes.
And I'm still waiting to see Luna's body before I lower my raised eyebrow and relax my smirky face. 😏

The whole reason it wasn't done in a hospital was because it was an illegal surgery. The surgery was still in experimental phases.

This is why she kept saying “it’s inoperable” ! She must have taken old scans of another patient who did have an inoperable tumor 😢 Bill 🤦♀️ how could he let his son be cut open by these two weirdos, without any nurse around, nothing !

I do feel sorry for Liam, he's been thru so much and now a true victim of a medical scam on his fate. There was no tumor ..Grace stirred up her plan. Had Liam thinking about his life ending. I hope this Buckingham's doesn't get away with it like her son did.

No matter what reason this is someone's life and they, even Bill don't have the right to play with that. Grace is showing her true colors she is not as innocent or good as she portraits herself or this Dr atacari to be. All of this is unethical and just wrong! Poor Liam, the things people do 😡 It doesn't matter what profession they have, they have no right to be doing this! Ugh can't stand people who think they're God with people's lives. ReplyDeleteI’m not judging Bill for being naive in that situation. He is just desperate to save his child. People in situations like that don’t think clearly. I have sons too and I don’t know what I would or wouldn’t do for them especially to save their lives. That’s why in real live people sometimes going for some shady shamen just to have some hope.
