omg can someone just get eric out of his misery already. he didn't want to do a fashion show because the inspiration was there , this is all a trap again to try to get ridge to go back to brooke and backstab taylor once again. i hope that nick busts in right at the time that ridge is about to do something that is going to make me not watch this any longer (how many times can he break taylors heart running back to brooke ) its been the basis of this show for 30 years now its getting so old. let brooke go be with nick there better together anyway. brooke just wants what she can't have

DeleteI noticed what Ridge said but I did not mention it because I didn't think it automatically meant that he wants to be with Brooke. I believe he was just reacting to her being hurt. When you care about someone, which Ridge has shown he clearly does, you can't just stand by and watch that person decide to leave and fly back to LA by herself. You would want to be there to support her or, in Ridge's case, try to explain why they can't be together.
DeleteMaybe he does want to tell her how he feels but I don't see him wanting to reunite. When Eric told him that he saw Brooke and Nick kissing and that Ridge needs to choose before he loses Brooke forever, what was Ridge's response? Ridge repeated to Eric that he already chose Taylor. Lynn, maybe you chose to ignore that part because I didn't see you bring it up either.

ReplyDeleteI can’t believe they flew all the way to Italy for five dresses? And Brooke’s was ugly , that odd print and colour blocky thing wasn’t pretty at all.
Brooke was correct, there was no reason she should have come on the trip except her machinations with Eric! She completely came to manipulate Ridge.
I think it's only now hitting home that Ridge is happy with Taylor. That's why Brooke is falling apart. She thought the romance of Italy would bring memories flooding back for Ridge.

Why keep waiting and begging him to leave Taylor, and come back to you? I guess it doesn't bother her that coming back to her would mean really hurting Taylor. But then again, Brooke did warn Taylor that Ridge and Brooke always end up together. So I guess Taylor knew the the risk of going down that road again. 🛑

Well Brooke, if Ridge is breaking your heart, there's always Eric. He would gladly have you! But then again, you don't want to betray or hurt another sister because then, you won't be able to gloat and rub it in her face. It's so much better to do it to Taylor instead. 🙄🙄🙄 What about Nick then? He's a good catch.

DeleteI have to agree, Brooke’s dress was kind of ugly, Brooke looked great herself but she looked so old compared to all those young, skinny models. Not that her body looks bad, just more mature and rounded. Aren’t models usually skinny, not as rounded as Brooke’s figure is. She is way past the modeling figure age.

DeleteI think that was the point. Everything was off. This whole "business triip" and fashion show didn't go the way Eric and Brooke hoped. There were no magical moments and think Brooke just realized it. As she said, why am I even here? And why did she really have to be there? It had nothing to do with her line. Erics plan didn't go the way she hoped.
