Hi! Luna is pathetic. Her only way to sleep with Will is to wait until he's drunk, then pretend to be Electra, hiding behind a mask. That girl is truly crazy! She took advantage of the opportunity Li gave her and gave her the finger! Li and Sheila will have some problems with those around them when people find out they helped Luna and what she did to Will! Sheila, who was starting to have a pretty good relationship with Finn and Steffy, well, she won everything! Well, Luna's going to go back to jail, right??!! For what she did to Hayes's mistress, to Steffy, for shooting Sheila and Liam! Uh, and sorry, but if Will had been the one hiding to sleep with a girl who didn't want him, we would have called it rape, and now no problem???
Luna finds it funny to sleep with a man who no longer knows who he is, where he is, who does not know who she is, when you are used without your consent it is called rape whether you are a woman or a man! I admit that seeing poor Will's face made me very sad, he understands that he slept with a woman who is not Electra, as if he had been drugged, and that he only has vague memories that do not help him...
If nothing else, this storyline shows what can happen, and does happen, in a lot of these parties where young people are just drinking at their leisure. It also highlights the fact that men suffer sexual abuse as well but a lot of times, they keep silent about it.

It was probably me, D. The only way a woman can force herself on a man is if he is a willing participant and his body cooperates. Otherwise it’s a no go. And a woman can’t overpower a man like a man can to a woman. However, he was tricked and didn’t know who he was having sex with. So in that regard it can be considered rape. And that’s because it was very dark and he was drunk. But his body allowed it to take place just the same.
Gonna bring a little reality into the soap world regarding the rape statute. Every year laws are rewritten. Not all of them but each year there are changes. And there was a time in which the rape statute required victim penetration. And since a woman cannot penetrate a man, it was indeed factual that a man could not be a victim of rape by a woman under the statute the way it was once written. The verbiage and the description under the statute has long since changed and that aspect was removed. So now under the rape statute the male can indeed be a victim of rape at the hands of a female. And I'm speaking of the California statute
That is interesting Dis One. To me, no matter what state or country you're in, if someone uses an intoxicated person for their own sexual gratification or gain, it is rape. Male or female.
It was then and is now a crime. At one point it just didn't fit the statutory definition of rape. It fell under a different sexual assault/sex crime statute
What's sad is the ones that do come forward, male or female, especially children, still feel punished after going through trial. The way they're accused, interrogated, and questioned leaves them feeling guilty for saying anything. Here, Ontario(Canada), they are only just starting a specialized service for victims that need help after the court process. It's a different therapy than victim services.
Unfortunately yes, rape remains rape in whatever country you are on a man as on a woman, how many sordid cases in France (yes it is my country) have we discovered where little boys and girls have been raped by their parents and friends, homosexual men not long ago on a dating app were raped, they were given appointments and jumped on, they took a long time to speak because they were ashamed, the case of this poor Mrs. Pelicot 60 years old that we discovered not long ago, given by her perverted husband to more than 80 men but only fifty of them so far have gone to court, a lawyer had said that she had not really been raped since she had not said "no", but sorry she was drugged every day for 10 years how could she say no when she was not really there since she was drugged by medication??? In short, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this will be handled in the soap, because I'm sick of seeing Luna's unhealthy smile as she tells herself that she had fun at Will's expense! And Bill will finally be able to show that he loves his children by sending Luna back to prison!
That's true, we haven't seen Chief Baker for a while. The last time he saw us was to tell us that Luna had been pardoned, just nonsense! Bill doesn't have the power to pardon this crazy woman, and the last time for this lousy plan against Luna! This guy is waiting for us to do the work for him!
Belinda, I just looked up the Mrs. Pelicot trial and it's sickening but hats off to her for making it a public trial. Usually they're kept private, at the request of the victims, jury only, no media. The trails can be just as abusive as the actual abuse. During cross examination, and being told over and over, you're lying, making it up, imagining it, explain it again, every detail. They have to hear and relive the trauma everyday for weeks..or as long as the trial goes on. And the sentence he got? No where near enough.
It seems to me that there are still investigators currently dedicated to finding her rapists because her crazy husband kept every rape video, and so they found around 80 rapists, but they were only able to bring 50 rapists to justice, they are doing everything to find the others but some have hidden their faces a little because they knew they were being recorded by the husband who wanted to be able to watch his wife's rapes again with the videos...and yes this woman is courageous, she decided that it would be public because they would be ashamed, not her! The couple's daughter also thinks she was raped by the father because she found photos of her in her underwear, the father says he didn't do anything to her but she doesn't believe him, likewise photos of the son's wife were found while she was sleeping or showering, just how? why? only questions....
Unill they can understand the (sick) psyche of these serial rapists, abusers, questions will never be answered. I think the sentences need to be a lot more harsh. Some are let out on probation after serving just a few yrs. And they reoffend, only to be let out again in a few more yrs.

But to be honest, first time we saw Ivy this year (or last year, don’t remember), when she kissed Liam in Il Giardino, the thought I had was: wow, the actress playing Ivy aged a lot, her very skinny face compared to the full rounded baby face she had about 10 years ago gives it away.

Since all these years of Sheila in Los Angeles, in Genoa city, everything she did to the Forresters, to Lauren Fenmore, to the men she dated, to her own children, and I don't know who else...we know that this woman is a psychopath...so yes she remains quiet for periods, but it is not possible that a woman with her background does not start again one day, I do not believe it, especially with Luna who clearly has her genes, and luckily Finn skipped that step....Deacon wanted to believe it, but I think he was imagining things...

ReplyDeleteLuna really is a despicable human being. The turmoil she causes for everyone I don't blame Poppy for being glad she is gone. But hey, nonetheless she isn't. Li and Sheila are wrong for keeping this a secret. Especially Sheila doesn't want to see that Luna isn't or better said, doesn't want to be reformed. When Deacon and everyone else finds out it's going to be bye Luna back to prison. The only person who would still be so gullible is Sheila. But maybe that is cause she sees so much of herself in her. Sheila better watch out cause Luna will bring out old Sheila. I know she fought it of once but how strong can someone be?! She'll loose everything over a grandchild who should of been and would of been better off dead and gone.
