Will face was indeed priceless! I think he will think it was a coworker at the party even. What could he think! Now I think he should avoid Electra convos until his head stops spinning with WHO?

DeleteD, I still have doubt about Sheila as well, as she continues to keep Luna being alive from her husband however, I am leaning towards her simply going along with Luna's excitement just so she can get the full truth from her. I don't think Sheila is actually happy with what Luna has done. But we shall see.
Elle. I do hope you're right about Sheila. But what's she going to do with the truth? The longer she plays this charade, and they will get caught, she will lose Deacon. And it's ashame. I think Deacon really loves her. 8 toes and all.😆

If Sheila is really truly excited about Luna’s rape / conquest….then I will throw in the towel on Sheila forever!! It seemed so out of character (her recent character anyway) to laugh like that! It was the old wicked Sheila behavior that we witnessed. So it better all be for show!!

ReplyDeleteLooks like we all have the same take on today's episode. Will's face was priceless! And Sheila is playing Luna. I think she will turn her in. Then later she of course will be pregnant. And then just like ALL other soaps. The assault that we all witnessed will become an after thought and they will again redeem Luna.

DeleteLuna finds it funny to sleep with a man who no longer knows who he is, where he is, who does not know who she is, when you are used without your consent it is called rape whether you are a woman or a man! I admit that seeing poor Will's face made me very sad, he understands that he slept with a woman who is not Electra, as if he had been drugged, and that he only has vague memories that do not help him...
DeleteIf nothing else, this storyline shows what can happen, and does happen, in a lot of these parties where young people are just drinking at their leisure. It also highlights the fact that men suffer sexual abuse as well but a lot of times, they keep silent about it.

It was probably me, D. The only way a woman can force herself on a man is if he is a willing participant and his body cooperates. Otherwise it’s a no go. And a woman can’t overpower a man like a man can to a woman.

Gonna bring a little reality into the soap world regarding the rape statute. Every year laws are rewritten. Not all of them but each year there are changes. And there was a time in which the rape statute required victim penetration. And since a woman cannot penetrate a man, it was indeed factual that a man could not be a victim of rape by a woman under the statute the way it was once written. The verbiage and the description under the statute has long since changed and that aspect was removed. So now under the rape statute the male can indeed be a victim of rape at the hands of a female. And I'm speaking of the California statute

ReplyDeleteBut to be honest, first time we saw Ivy this year (or last year, don’t remember), when she kissed Liam in Il Giardino, the thought I had was: wow, the actress playing Ivy aged a lot, her very skinny face compared to the full rounded baby face she had about 10 years ago gives it away.

DeleteNo previews for next week until Monday August 25th. In the US on Monday August 18th, CBS had a special report. B&B Didn't air on the Midwest or Eastern time zones, which means that in The Mountain time and Pacific time zones, the showed a rerun. I live in California.

When Deacon and everyone else finds out it's going to be bye Luna back to prison. The only person who would still be so gullible is Sheila. But maybe that is cause she sees so much of herself in her.
