DeleteHope seems as confused as ever. She doesn't want Liam and told him so, not even in light of his pleas of them becoming a family again for Beth's sake. Deacon is trying to convince her to be with Liam and she had to remind him that she is engaged. That tells me she definitely does not want to reunite with Liam. Then, she meets up with Carter who is so excited about their future and the fact that Ridge has agreed to be his best man yet, Hope seems can't even muster up the same level of excitement. That tells me that she is also questioning her relationship with Carter. I think that Ridge and Frenchie are right. Carter is afraid that Hope might run back to Liam, that's why he is in a rush.
ReplyDeleteLuna is sick! Now that Sheila is hearing about what happened that night from Will itself, it looks like she is now getting a full picture of what her granddaughter did. Maybe she had been thinking all along that Will was a willing participant, just not knowing who he was with. I could be wrong but it seems as though she is only now realizing that Will was totally out of it.

DeleteLynn, I don't think Hope will be going back to Liam. If there was even an inkling of desire toward Liam, she would have already responded to his suggestion of putting their family back together. I just don't see that happening.
My bet is that she will have to work out her feelings for Thomas when he returns as he might not be interested in going down that road again after what happened last time.
By your logic Lynn, what does that make Hope? Carter's 3rd choice? Quinn, then her auntie, then Hope?

Elle, you aren’t comparing apples to apples. When Carter fell in love with Hope it happened organically. Carter was not involved with anyone else at the time. And he CHOSE to pursue Hope. And we have seen Carter profess his love for Hope over and over again. And all the while, he has simultaneously rejected Daphne. So if Hope breaks his heart, then he turns to Daphne for comfort, Daphne will absolutely be his second choice. And moreover, he will most likely long for Hope.

I think Hope has said multiple times that that whole thing was a mistake and she was simply drawn in because of Thomas’ complete commitment to her. And the irony is (which even further supports my theory)…..you can’t even say Thomas is a “one woman man” any longer because he left Hope / LA to go be with Paris. And he proposed to Paris. So the one thing that drew Hope to Thomas in the first place isn’t even true any longer.
Honestly, I think Hope will go back to Liam. I think she’s having second thoughts. And as much as I think Liam is a dog, that’s honestly what I see happening. Ugh!!

DeleteThat's not the definition of one woman man, Lynn. It means that once you're in a relationship with someone, that's the only person you have eyes for. It means your full commitment and loyalty is to that one person. It doesn't mean that you are in a relationship with just one person for life. Thomas has had past relationships. He has a son with Caroline.

D, you're correct. Paris stated a number of times that Thomas was so broken when he came to the international office and she was there for him because, in the past, he had been there for her. It was made to seem like she helped him get over the pain of what happened with Hope. They then started falling in love.

And the reason she could never commit was because she knew in her heart of hearts she could never spend the rest of her life with him. You ladies have been holding out for this Thomas / Hope thing for years! It simply isn’t going to happen. They don’t have the great love story that Ridge and Brooke have. Or at least the writers want us to believe in Ridge’s and Brooke’s great love story. We all know Ridge is useless, however.

He could ask Bill for help who would hire a private investigator to find out what happened.
I understand Hope feeling bad for Liam and everything he went through recently. But that's not the same as being in love. They can continue to be co-parents to their daughter. I can't believe Hope is even considering getting back with Liam when she has Carter who is so in love with her. Has she forgotten how she criticized Brooke for being in the neverending triangle with Ridge and Taylor. If Steffy was available right now, Liam would be going after her. Wake up Hope!
