Oh, the irony of Liam saying Finn had one job (keeping Kelly safe). When was the last time Liam spent an afternoon at the beach with either of his daughters? 🤔
ReplyDeleteLiam & Steffy were too busy scrutinizing the Finn/Shelia hug to help Finn with childcare on the beach when duty called. He shouldn't have taken the phone call and Kelly's parents should have been helping instead of talking about Finn.

(Not exact quote.) Great seeing Liam find out Sheila saved Kelly. It blew his tiny mind. Li freaked out too. Steam may have come out of her ears. Finally getting good!

DeleteAs far as Bill's attempt to get Sheila for murder one, it doesn't make sense at all, because the FBI would have known before putting all of that money, time, and manpower out there in an attempt to get her confession if it would be admissible in court or not.
DeleteWith the FBI involved, I would have imagined that they would have been granted the necessary warrants by the court to pull off that kind of surveillance. The FBI doesn't just do things willy nilly. It really doesn't make sense at all. At least have Ridge or Bill contact the FBI to find out what happened.

Never has been love with Hope, remember he and Steffy can talk about Hopes kiss and Finn not being watchful and his feelings for Shelia but while they're putting themselves on a pedestal, remember how she didn't even know if Kelly was Bill's or Liam's and if Hayes was Liam's or Finns? Hope should have dumped Liam way before but at least when he slept with Steffy while her and Finn first got together Finn and Hope overlooked and forgave them but they can't extend the same forgiveness for something less. 🤦🤦🤔 Bunch of hypocrites

DeleteEven when there were no kisses or daydreaming about Thomas by Hope, Liam always kept Steffy close. Whenever he and Hope had issues, he ran to Steffy. When Steffy got shot, who was at the hospital at her side and willing to let her believe they were still married? Why did Hope always feel discomfort (which she voiced to Finn) whenever Liam and Steffy spent time together with Kelly? Liam never truly let go of Steffy. He appeared to be committed to his marriage until there was an issue, which made him run straight to Steffy. Remember mannequin-gate? And now one kiss made him ask for divorce.

DeleteLiam never seemed to think of Thomas as being a danger to the kids. At least not what has been shown. When he was in prison, he even asked Thomas to take care of Hope and the kids.

Steffy has the right to hate Sheila. She has every right to be scared of her and she has every right to demand that Finn cut ties with Sheila, but the way she is dealing with the situation shows how little Finn means for her. I started to think that Steffy doesn't love Finn, but she loves what Finn can do for her. It makes me think that Steffy didn't lately reject Liam for Finn, but for what Finn can give her like total devotion, security and probably some great abs. 😂 Just like Hope didn't stop fighting for Liam for Thomas, but because Thomas is obsessed with her and it helps her with her insecurities,
ReplyDeleteI can see why Steffy is scared of Finn’s sudden growing feelings for Sheila and the way he is now grateful to her for saving Kelly... In the end Steffy is projecting as always and she knows how gullible she is where her mother and brother are concerned. I am not saying that Taylor is as crazy as Sheila, but Steffy definitely was 100% on Taylor’s side no matter what she did. She didn’t even want to allow Hope to protect her own daughter from the woman who shot Bill in the back because she’s “HER mom”. 😒 And Thomas? Well he is like 1 step away from being the male Sheila, but Steffy isn’t trying to avoid him. The only thing that stops Thomas from being Sheila 2.0 is that he is rich and has a family that would jump into the fire for him and the same can’t be said about Sheila.
Finn knows how dangerous Thomas is, but as long as Steffy wants it, he is also welcome in the cliff house. He even didn’t see a problem with his mother in law running after a taken man and together with Steffy he was hoping to see Bridge falling apart over a drunken kiss.
Finn’s feelings for Sheila are not something unbelievable. Whatever she has done, she is his mom... And his relationship with Steffy proved how forgiving Finn is. Right now Finn needs guidance and he needs Steffy more than ever. Instead of helping Finn Steffy will just leave, She’s a terrible wife...
Steffy lies to Finn about Liam only trying to protect Kelly because Liam made it clear to her that he wants to move on with her... All of this while she knows very well that Liam kissed her two times and she’s hiding it from Finn. In her mind she is allowed to hide stuff, but not Finn.
Sheila is a problem for Sinn’s relationship, but until Steffy will realize that Liam is also a big problem for her relationship with Finn she should shut her mouth and get off the high horse.

Finn has been very forgiving, merciful and empathetic towards
Steffy and her family it's like you said Steffy's concerns and
ill feelings towards Sheila are completely valid and understandable.
However what he (Finn) needs is guidance and help from his wife
more than ever rather than being trashed and thrown under the bus.
A huge difference with Steffy defending her family is, those are people who have been in her life from the beginning... unlike Sheila who is new in Finn's life. Another thing, Thomas is crazy due to his obsession with Hope, and hasn't gone out of his way to kill people. Sheila left the Y&R tormenting people like Lauren, then jumping on to B&B, doing the same to Stephanie, then Brooke, then James, then Taylor, then Maggie and so forth. She is a different kind of unstable. She is obsessed with herself, that's why Deacon said to her, you did a good thing saving Kelly but give their family space and respect their wishes. She can't even do that. Thomas and Taylor may have their issues, but none of those issues have personally affected Finn. Whereas Sheila has personally attacked Steffy and attacked every member in her family... her Grandmother, her grandfather, her mother, her step mother and so on. So the 2 do not compare at all.

But in that moment you learn that your husband is embracing (twice i might add) the woman who almost killed you both and then kept it quiet. Then you learn your child almost drowned and her step father wasn't watching her in that moment... then on top of all of that he repeatedly keeps calling her "my mother" knowing how his wife feels about her and goes on to say "cut her some slack". Man i know that man would have me f'd up, if he said all of that and thought we wouldn't be fighting. She is high on emotion right now, fear, grieve of what could've been, confused because he is confused and scared. I completely understand her decision, but she should've said she's moving out for a few days. And also i am not dismissing that she too is keeping secrets... i am just speaking on the specific incidents at play.

Juts like i don't believe Rick intended to kill Phoebe, but yet it happened. Big difference... Sheila has always intentionally tried killing people. But regardless of this fact... what i was saying is, Finn has no reason to fear Thomas, because Thomas has done nothing to him, whereas Steffy has EVERY right to fear Sheila who has harmed not just her but her whole family.

It was because Rick had gone through both his sisters and his mother, all of them loved him, two even got engaged to him. Also he pushed him off a balcony at FC 😅, that was around 2012.

Hi Milla. 👏 I don't have an issue with Thomas' past misdeeds being bandied around, inclusive of his part in Emma's death by not calling 911. My issue is with the ongoing narrative that he murdered or killed Emma. He did not.
DeleteAnd, unlike Sheila who seems not to have a full understanding of the wrongs she has committed, Thomas has acknowledged his untoward behavior, apologized for it and is trying to make amends by putting all of his (positive) energies into HFTF. His past doesn't define who he is now. 😊 The added bonus for me is that I get to see him happy and smiling, which brings those dimples out. 😍😍😍

It wasn't a happy time for Steffy and Liam's relationship.
Liam was torn between two women and couldn't get over Steffy and Bill's nasty ONS.
Then he almost married Hope and until the labor they didn't have 1 happy day...
Liam seems to have absolute amnesia. So now Steffy is not someone that betrayed him way more than Hope? She is this wonderful woman that he shouldn't leave for a woman that kissed another?
But oh yeah Hope kissed Thomas...
It's way worse than Steffy having SEX with his DAD.
The writers must really think that we are stupid beyond belief.
Mmysh i think the difference is, Steffy never pretended to be innocent, she was always the person "what you see is what you get"... Perhaps Liam's supposed heartbreak from Hope is that "Hope could NEVER" do that to him. But even in me saying this, i cannot stand the idea of Liam trying to creep back up in Steffy's life. He needs to move to Italy or where all of them go when they get their hearts broken lol.

I think Steffy's ons that she deeply regretted for months after was not comparable with what Hope happily and proudly pulled off with Thomas and then disgustingly twisted on Liam. That was so much more than one kiss, it was a whole transformation into this nasty cheating hypocrite (to me).
DeleteI agree that Steffy has her insufferable moments especially when she starts judging everybody else without regard what she and her family have done. But when it comes to the relationship with Liam I think she treated him better than Hope. But I also agree that Liam is portrayed as having the attention span of a cocker spaniel when it comes to women, one disappoints him, he sets his eyes on the other and puts the pink goggles only reminding him of the good times with her. He'll have the same with Hope eventually.
@Kae, I think the same about Liam. It's that he never expected in a million years that Hope would stand up for herself let alone betray him. I applaud her for finally standing up to him but I also agree with @Milla that her actions with Thomas were extreme. Steffy has never treated Liam that way.
DeleteLori yes. Standing up is one thing and she should have done it a while ago. If she had a problem with Liam’s relationship with Steffy, she should have addressed it. But she only started having a problem with Steffy (in her recent history) after she got caught cheating. Very convenient. Steffy really really fought for her marriage to Liam even though she could have used Sally the same way to twist it on Liam like Hope is using Steffy. That’s one of the reasons I would like to see Steffy and Liam have another chance as a family.

DeleteI don't see Hope as twisting the blame on Liam. She took responsibility for her actions with Thomas. She apologized to Liam for hurting him and she felt remorse for the part she played in breaking up her family. However, she was not going to go down for the demise of her marriage alone. She made Liam see that his actions throughout their marriage and his inability to let Steffy go contributed just as much, maybe even more, to where they are now. And she was proven right. Look at Liam's actions now. So despicable! Hope is better off without him and I hope that Steffy has enough sense to not walk away from Finn and return to Liam.

I have to say that if the feedback from fans is heard, we'll be seeing a lot of them 😅Instagram is crazy about them, counting days not seeing them on screen 😀 AN also called for hashtag who everyone supports (and "everyone should be alone for a while" was also an option 😅) and it was all Thope love. I don't think I have seen such support before (although I've only been following for a year).

Steffi is a lousy team player. The man who became my husband did so in part because he taught me the meaning of the word partner (kinda like Finn proving his devotion to Steffi). And we have stuck together through thick and a whole lotta thin, never once cutting and running. That's my soap opera without the soap opera ending. Well, except that I'm wife the third, after the closeted lesbian and the serial philanderer, but I'm the one he had kids with. Truth can be stranger than fiction, I've learned.

DeleteHayes had a growth spurt! I don't think the children are any safer at Eric's mansion with a pool than Steffy's cliff/beach house. Since Steffy owns the house, she shouldn't have been the one to leave. She should have asked Finn to leave. He could have stayed with Li, except Li sided with Steffy. I guess he could live with his 9-toed Mom! 👣
ReplyDeleteI believe her "thinking" was that she wouldn't be alone at Erics (outside of security) but had she asked Finn to leave, then she would be alone in the cliff house, with Shelia still lurking. And we know that this split between Finn and steffy is going to fuel Sheila's obsession with wanting to be a part of the family, so she could be showing up where steffy is to try force her to accept her because she saved her daughter.
DeleteGood point! Since Steffy has no nanny, lucky Donna can help out with children. On the other hand, if Steffy had asked Finn to leave, Liam would have moved right in and there would have been no worries about being alone. The iconic photo of them would be back up on the wall.

ReplyDeleteIf Finn really wanted to prove he's devoted to his family with Steffy he would call Sheila (in front of Steffy) and tell her he is grateful she was at the beach and saved Kelly, BUT he is unable have any contact with her. I'm with Steffy on this. I would not be able to get past her shooting them both AND all the other stuff she has done over the years; decades.
Finn and Liam are definitely going to fight when they see each other. Finn thinks Liam is trying to sabotage his marriage. Liam is furious that Finn wasn't paying attention to Kelly at the beach, and the girl could have drowned.

True, and Finn is right about Liam trying to end they're marriage because he wants her back because Hope divorced him. Liam's character is the same, wishy washy, and Finn and Hope cant hold a candle of what they've done up next to Liam and Steffy always jumping into bed or making out. I hope Finn finds out somehow that the Paternity test was wrong and Hayes isn't his, he's Liam's and Kelly turns out to be Bills. Then Finn could be with someone who deserves him and Liam and Steffy can stay in their twisted sick relationship. I didn't see Steffy fessing up to the two kisses she let Liam get by with. I sooooooo hope Finn finds out and punches Liam right when Liam is trying to make Finn look bad.

DeleteI would have done the same thing if I was in Steffy's shoes. Since the shooting Steffy has a real fear of Sheila now. She loves Finn but she's afraid of Sheila more. She thought Finn was on her side regarding Sheila so to hear him say to cut her some slack broke the confidence she had in him.
DeleteI am from Eastern Europe. From my culture perspective this scene with Steffy taking the kids out of the family house, with this almost crying weak Finn is ridiculous. In my country the man is the strong figure of protector, especialy in a case of danger for the family. Steffy behaves like the children are her private property. We watch this with my wife and we pointed out that this is unimaginable for our geogrpahical diaspora. How is possible a strong family to exist with such a weak men. This could be a mess.

ReplyDeleteUnknown, I too laugh when Li said that to Finn because she should be in prison for all the Lies, Manipulation and Crimes she COMMITTED!! In my Opinion she is no better than Sheila!!
ReplyDeleteBorislav, I agree Finn is weak and should of told Stephanie you can leave with Liam Child, but my Child is staying here! Also, who are you to tell me you are taking my child from his home!!
ReplyDeleteLiam couldn't protect a fly! He's such a big wussy. Steffy could easily protect herself and her kids better than he ever could. I would be upset with Finn too, but you don't run away from your marriage at the first sign of a problem, and I agree it's a big problem, and she should lay down the law and expect him to follow the rules, even if they have to sit down together with Sheila to lay them down. The restraining orders should already have been served. Sheila did save Kelly, but she was actually stalking them anyway. I find it very interesting that nobody at all has brought up the fact that Kelly did not follow the rules when Finn told her to stay right there, and went down to the water anyway. I know she almost drowned, but they need to reinforce to her to obey, and a child being near the water should be taught how to swim immediately, even if you just have a pool. Though I do realize the ocean is a whole other ball of wax when it comes to a strong swimmer and being in an undertow. It also seems that Liam and Steffy both are being very hasty to get out of their prospective marriages, so to me it seems like they are looking for a reason to get back together. Of course, Hope jumped on to Liam's request for a divorce way too fast.
