Delete@CC, I'm not too sure yet if it's Hope using Carter, or Carter using Hope. He's on a mission and getting aggressive about it.Nobody has seen that side of him. Eric already shut him down, and now Ridge is making it clear he's out of line, and not focusing on his job.
Stephanie had no right to fire Hope regardless if she felt that she was making a play for her husband. Carter was right. Stephanie's personal vendetta against the Logans is all she cares about. If I was Hope, I would take the matter to the Board and even sue FC for harassment! All those threats insecure Steffy made to Hope. If she was secure in her marriage there would not be any reason to worry about Hope since Finn has said over and over that he wasn't interested in Hope. But there must be something that Steffy sees if not, she wouldn't have the need to keep threatening Hope.

I agree that Hope and Carter do not make a good couple and for whatever reasons she decided to keep her personal business to herself was her business.
Finn needs to speak up and tell the truth that Hope fell but he's too scared of Steffy to defend Hope's action. Hope was there first but all of this could have been avoided had she locked the door and stop using FC as a place to get her groove on.
And if you remember, Carter did mention that he had enough money saved and would invest in his suggested plan to expand FC. It would be nice to see him run his own fashion house but that's not necessary. Steffy does need to apology to Hope for humiliating her and Steffy needs to tell Finn that if he comes to see her, he has to wait in her office that way he won't be in Hope's space.

And as far as the document that Carter is holding in the previews for next week….my guess is it has something to do with Carter creating the LLC that Ridge asked him about during their contentious meeting. Ridge mentioned Carter needed to work on that project because they were paying “duplicate taxes” since they do business in other countries. Something about the documents required to create the LLC is what Carter is most likely holding. Somehow those docs will solve Carter’s and Hope’s problem and make them more than just employees…..perhaps?? Rubbing hands together and laughing wickedly.
Lynn to me whether Hope does or doesn't say directly that she was fired because of the misunderstanding with Finn is not such a big deal, considering they all work at the same company and there's no way Zende wouldn't know all of it. And she's keeping her involvement with Carter from everyone.

Elle I only felt sorry for Carter because Ridge laughed at him like you said. He was so invested in this and Ridge didn't give him the time of day, but instead basically told him to know his place. But on the other hand, I'm not feeling sorry on a bigger scale, because I know that gives him the push he needs to go with some interesting sabotage (hopefully). As for Hope, I think she's already on his side to come up with something to take down Steffy a peg or two. She's also happy that she sees others like Zende on her side. I actually think that Carter may go with whatever he has in mind even without Hope's assistance. Zende seems pissed at Steffy and unappreciated on a similar level that Carter does so he may also be his accomplice.

I am amazed at carter. He tends to forget that he is there because of Eric's good heart after he slept with Quinn. He still kept him in the company, and today yet again, he is on another journey of betrayal. Finally, we can conclude that carter does not have a bone of loyalty in him. He blames steffy for making things personal but the only argument he has with ridge is their friendship. I mean, let's forget about the company, why would you demand a father to make his daughter apologize for reacting to something that hurt her. Why would you badmouth a daughter to her father in that regard. I mean, he should look at brooke, she defends hope no matter what, so why expect different from Ridge? Since he started freaking with hope, he has become utterly disrespectful and this is enough to fire him too. and the only reason why he can be so arrogant is because of how welcoming the forresters have been with him even after he slept with his boss's wife.
