Hope ... the audacity! "Why are you here?" Toward Ridge. She's unbelievable.

He has emotionally abused both Brooke and Taylor for years and allowed Steffy to create a toxic work environment based on nepotism. DeleteA work environment can be considered toxic even if only one person is being targeted or experiencing negative behavior, as long as the behavior is severe & pervasive enough to create a hostile or abusive work environment for that individual; essentially the impact on the victim is what matters most, not the number of people affected. Steffy absolutely created a toxic work environment.

DeleteRenee, I agree with you however, Hope keeps talking about "people" (not her) not being able to air their views, or "people" (not her) not feeling appreciated. She has made it as though Steffy created a toxic work environment for everyone and that, since she and Carter took over, Forrester has become a place where "people" (not her) are respected and appreciated. That is what I meant when I asked who else complained about Steffy creating a toxic work environment. It's just Hope. And she did not have to steal a company to make it better for herself. She could have simply found another job.

I understand why it's impossible for Ridge to go home. I can see he misses Brooke but he is too angry with her daughter right now and if he went home to Brooke he and Brooke will only be fighting about Hope.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad Hope told Ridge about how he bounces back from Brooke to Taylor. And I'm glad she told him that he once considered her a stepdaughter. Hope is hurting real bad and everything started with the lost of her marriage. See Hopes marriage didn't just end when she kissed Thomas, it ended when Liam couldn't let go of his love for Steffie. He took was flip flopping just like Ridge. Hope had watched her mother suffered this for years and now she had fallen to the same date, that is why she fell for Thomas, because Thomas presented himself as a one woman man which Hope so desperately needed, until Steffie chased Thomas away. They all turned against Hope when she was not yet ready to marry Thomas, the girl had just recently divorced the man she thought she would be spending the rest of her life with. She needed time to heal. And on top of Ridge and Steffie chasing Thomas away, she also lost her son, Douglas. With Thomas gone, Hope line began to fail. Hope must feel that Ridge and Steffie stripped everything from her and then turn around and fired her. I'm sorry Brooke you didn't do a good job in defending Hope when she was fired. Had you had fought to keep her on non e of this take over would have taken place. You should have fought Ridge to have Hope reinstated just as you are fighting so hard for the foresters to get their company back. Where was this fight when Hope needed you. You say Ridge didn't deserve this, well you know damn well Hope didn't deserve to get fired on some personal petty bullshit. That is what you should have made Ridge realize. Now Ridge hates your daughter, how are you going to sleep well next to a man who despises your child. Both Steffie and Ridge are going to have to practice forgiveness. I don't see any remorse. They forced the hands of Hope and Carter, yet no remorse. Ridge showed a little to Carter today but none at all to Hope. They only want to feel appreciated and validated and I'm sure they will be willing to return the company. Hope and Carter are good people at the core but feels they have been wronged. I hate that Brooke allowed Ridge to do this to get daughter. Maybe Brooke should just leave Ridge to be with Taylor because he truly don't love Taylor they way he loves Brooke and eventually Taylor will be able to see that his heart is with Brooke, if Ridge truly loves you like you believe Brooke, he will come back. Hope lost her marriage, not because of Liam's feelings for Steffy, but because she decided to kiss Thomas in Rome. And when Liam said he was leaving, Hope turned it around on him and made it all about his unresolved feelings for Steffy. However, it was Hope who messed up her own marriage.
DeleteI agree that it was too fast for marriage to Thomas, and Thomas should have understood that but, it was not as if Hope wasn't making promises to him that she knew she couldn't keep. She wore his ring around her neck and told him that marriage is not off the table for her. She kept stringing him along without even letting him know how she felt about him (telling him "I love you.") Obviously, Ridge and Steffy would see this as Hope using Thomas. Matter of fact, a lot of the Logan fans on this blog also insisted that Hope was using Thomas.
And what remorse should Ridge and Steffy show? I agree that Steffy was wrong for meddling in Thomas and Hope's relationship but, after Hope's third dismissal of Thomas' proposal, Steffy saw that Hope was just stringing her brother along. She was wrong to intervene but she was right to take a stand. Then Hope went after her husband for revenge so, of course, Steffy would not just sit and take it. What woman would want to be friends with another woman who tried to seduce her husband?
The who sequence of events all began with Hope and her purposeful actions. Ridge and Steffy have nothing to be remorseful of or apologize for.

Steffy could never see Bridge because of her mum but Taylor lost Ridge the 2nd time she vanished and sadly it was a kidnap but by then Bridge had grown but Stephanie faked a heart attack with a promise to take Taylor back but deep down he wanted Brooke.
Steam are the same but Liam betrayed Steffy and she finds it hard to trust him but he is her soul mate
