DeleteI don't get Brooke. She wishes the Forresters were back at the company and wants to reunite with Ridge yet, she refuses to stand against Hope and Carter. She says with her mouth that what they did was wrong but does not back it up with action.
I know right? What have they really done? From what I have seen, they just gave the go ahead on a jewelry and perfume line. Thats hard work, oh and now made it a non toxic workplace. I don't see many happy employees.

Man I really thought Ridge was going to cave to Brooke yet again, at least it looked like he wanted to. Don't get me wrong the hearts wants what it wants. But this is all happening and is going to continue cause Brooke won't take a stand against her daughter. Daughter or not how do you treat your child right from wrong!?? I liked Carter's aynology about what he learned in law school and you would think Hope would get that, but she really is to power hungry at the moment to let go. She talks about Steffy and I love Steffy but even I can admit that some things she has done wasn't okay. Hopey now on the other hand is on a next level. I'm really wondering if she would stay in "love" if Carter decided against her better judgement and go on give the company back to where it rightfully belongs. If Hope and/or Carter don't like it they should go and build their own company, not just steal someone's hard work out from under them! Hope is toxic and Brooke isn't taking a hard stand to it! They have one comparison tho, and that is thinking of what they want for themselves and that!! I'm sorry to say does give of Logan vibes the me me me culture. I'm sorry to say Carter's decision in giving the company back is only going to get harder as long as he has 🐍 Hope in his ear same as Ridge and Brookes relationship cause everything isn't all up and nice, it is time to take a stand and choose a side! You can't have the cake and eat it too🤷🏾♀️

Hope created a toxic work environment when she went to work every day and was hostile, openly insubordinate, rude etc to the CEO! I remember Steffy telling Finn she dreaded going in because she had to deal with Hope being nasty. However, I don’t hear anyone talking about that!
Sure Hope openly attacked Steffy and Carter in meetings and Rifge told her off!
Carter is an idiot! Hope only cares about herself!! She’s always been selfish.
Brooke raised her to be an entitled brat!! Pushed her to steal a married man, gave her lingerie to seduce a very married Liam etc. Her whole life she’s never faced consequences for her actions because mummy took care of it for her!
Eric, Ridge and Steffy had the jewellery line relaunch in progress when Hope helped Carter steal Forrester in what way was that their doing??
The perfume thing is a reboot too from years ago! Ashely Abbot came and worked on perfumes for Forrester!
Zende was talking about how morale was never lower! Even Katie talked about how terrible everyone was feeling but Hope!

Exactly, BBFan. Hope should have been gone eons ago. The woman spends most of her time daydreaming about her next seduction. When she started to go after the husband of her boss/on and off stepsister with a mutual brother, she just showed what a desperate low-life she can be. The excuse of her firing from Brooke and Hope saying, "but, but, she wasn't trying to seduce Finn, she was trying to seduce Carter!" didn't change my opinion ... girl, get off your back and focus on your failing line! And do you remember that you have Beth? They barely mention Beth or Douglas anymore. Douglas, the 'son' whose adoption was pure manipulation from Brooke and Hope.

Do you notice that reinstatement of Hope for the Future is never mentioned? Do we ever see Hope working on her line? Last we saw, Steffy was on the phone with buyers who were pulling out from continuing their orders of HFTF. Hope is too busy playing Queen of Forrester.
Again, it's a joke to constantly say they now have a fair workplace, blah, blah, blah, when we saw how Electra was fired based on an assumption of her character which wasn't true.
The toxicity of Hope's workplace became that way by her own doing. She should have found somewhere else to work or have mommy bankroll Hope's own company. IMHO Carter is just a schmuck who is slowly absorbing what his former besty is telling him about Hope.

DeleteI keep asking what toxic work environment did Steffy create? Because to hear Hope, it's as if Forrester employees were all disgruntled and clamoring for change! She was the only one and, what did she expect? She went after Thomas fresh from his therapy when she realized he was a different person, and she did this while still married to Liam. She strung Thomas along for months, and when he finally walked away, she decided to go after her boss' husband instead of focusing on her failing line. Then, as if that wasn't enough, she encouraged Carter to steal FC and is now parading up and down like she's a queen, all the while claiming that people are now thriving and are free to express themselves. Really Hope?
LOL, Elle. That is the perfect word for Hope - 'parading' - because she's all about the show, how it looks to others. Hope's mission is to find a way to poke 👉🏼 Steffy in the eye 👁️ on a daily basis. Her temper tantrum that she refuses to ever answer to Ridge or Steffy again was comical. Delusional much, Hope? Brooke should be spending time finding her daughter a good mental health treatment center. 😬

DeleteThomas ... Thomas ... I miss Thomas. I tried to see what Matthew Atkinson's status is with the Bold and the Beautiful. IMHO, the show did themselves a great disservice by letting him go. I don't find anything about him with B&B - please comment if any of you find out but I did see that he was a character on a show I had never heard of, 'Jane By Design' where he plays and I quote Jane, "the high school Adonis I've been drooling over for five years." Gals and guys, the show is free on regular YouTube so while I convalesce from the flu, I've been binge-watching. He is so cute with his young baby face and his athletic physique and confidence fit the role. I think there are 18 episodes before it was stupidly cancelled. FYI 💕

DeleteNow, with the return episodes of Thomas and Hope in Rome that are being re-run this week, I am hopeful that Thomas will be back soon. Also, in today's show, Ridge brought up Thomas, as well as Hope referred to Steffy interfering in her relationships (we all know how Hope feels about Steffy "making" Thomas leave). I could be wrong, but it all points to Thomas returning, if you ask me. I also think that Carter might have realized today that Hope is still not over Thomas leaving.

Hope is changing, she's letting her anger and resentment get the best of her and all that, mixed with the power she now has through Carter, she may lose herself and end up being just like Steffy or worse. Oddly enough, I like it. I don't want her to turn out badly, but I want her to fight back like she's doing now. She was sweet but she was also weak and was the doormat to people like Steffy, Liam, or Thomas (the one who tortured her emotionally for years, not the reformed one). The funny thing is that now Thomas is the victim and all his wrongdoings towards Hope are erased and called mistakes by Ridge and Steffy even though they know perfectly well that Thomas planned and calculated everything he did. I thought Thomas and Hope were the best couple but denying everything he did to Hope... I just like what's happening right now, it's a little chaotic in everyone's lives and it's interesting to see how things will turn out for each of them. One way or another, Hope is going to fall hard, but in the meantime, I'm loving every minute I see her strong and confident like this for a change. As for Brooke, Brooke's only character failure is Ridge.

I was watching Season one episode twenty one on youtube today, Brookes own words, while looking at the newspaper when Caroline had fainted on her wedding day....Brooke said, i want to be a part of it, being rich and living a glamourous life......her plan from the start and decades later still won't let it go....surely she's made enough money from her 15 divorces! HOpeless is losing it, Carter has FINALLY woken up.....he sees her now......he sees her with new eyes too!

DeleteI believe she loves Ridge too. She just doesn't love him enough to take a stand against her daughter. She was quite willing to stand in Hope's corner while watching her "destiny" walk away from her. I will always say that Brooke should have stood with the Forresters against Carter and Hope.
DeleteNah, she can't blow her cover in front of Hope and Carter. She is afterall her daughters mother, and your children ALWAYS comes first. She knows her daughter was wrong, but at the beginning she didn't see that Hope was the force behind Carter actually doing this. He had his doubts, but Hope kept pushing, because she also has an agenda, to finally stick it to the Forresters, who she feels has wronged her and the Logans in general for a large portion of her life. Lately, you can see that Brooke is noticing something in Hope, a shift, like she sees something she does NOT like or approve of. But at the same time, she doesn't want to push her daughter away. She is trying to be there for everyone, which doesn't seem to be working in her favour, but she isn't doing it out of bad intentions, only good intentions.
DeleteIn my opinion, tough love is needed sometimes. Brooke is coddling Hope by telling her that she understands why she and Carter did what they did but it is still wrong, the Forresters belong here etc.... And that is what Hope is used to. She is used to her mother always taking her side. If Brooke had stood firmly with the Forresters and walked out of FC with them, it would have shown Hope that her mother is really against what she did, and it might have had a greater impact since Hope has never had Brooke stand up to her in that way.

In Brooke's eyes, Hope just made a mistake. Even after Hope's purposeful declaration of "she is not going to let Ridge and Steffy get their way" (paraphrasing), Brooke still thinks Hope made a mistake.
