The whole thing about Ridge choosing (whichever woman at the given moment ) is so silly because he changes his choice, so it never was anything anyway. High school sweetheart mentality, not grown ups with responsibilities and FAMILIES already! These people return girlfriends and wives like it's a Walmart return line after Christmas. For all their money and high living, they lack strength of character and fortitude.

I agree, BBFan. Ridge is in love with Taylor. He said it and Taylor's confidence also proves it. In the past, she always questioned whether he loved her or was just rebounding from Brooke however, she seems very confident now so, we know that things are different between them.

Lied outright to Ridge, especially about sleeping with other men and the paternity of her children! Brooke stole the company more than once etc. There is so much negative history that people missed who haven’t watched the show over the whole time.

Ridge did not walk away from Brooke because of a CPS call. He walked away because Brooke chose Deacon. When CPS happened, they were already separated.
That’s not true, Elle. He did walk away from Brooke because of the CPS call. Those were entirely different events and were not connected. I remember because Ridge kept asking Brooke to tell him the truth about what she had done and she had no idea what he was talking about. Because she did not do what he thought she had done. The Deacon thing was intertwined in the Sheila switching the champagne bottles. Again, totally different events and timeframes.

Brooke slept with her daughter Bridget’s husbands because she had to have them! She was following her heart etc etc. She pounced after her daughter had a miscarriage!
Brooke even slept with Hope’s underage boyfriend at a school dance! Claiming she thought a young teenager was Ridge!!
That is just a small amount of what Brooke did! She hurt a lot of people because she could !!!
Lynn, what did Taylor do? You know it’s funny, Taylor did ONE thing in the far past that broke Ridge’s trust, just ONE!! And that was sleeping with a dunking man who was a dear friend and didn’t want to die a virgin!
Meanwhile Brooke cheated and lied and deceived Ridge continuously! But Logan fans fixate on the ONE time Taylor did something!
Taylor wasn’t a bad person and she didn’t go around deliberately ruing peoples’ lives because she could! That was Brooke!
Brooke always lied to get her way! She played horrible games to manipulate men into getting what she wanted!
The stunt at the fashion show, tells me she hasn’t changed all that much and her constant disregard for Ridge’s relationship with Taylor shows she’s still the same selfish person she’s always been.
I really thought she’d changed but she hasn’t. It’s all about Brooke!!

Her only excuse for cheating was “I didn’t feel heard by Ridge”. So she betrays her husband and her sister!!! That is classic Brooke! And happened just before that incident with Deacon!

DeleteBBFAN, I wish Mila was here to be able to lay out the past on all of Taylor’s indiscretions, but she is not. All I know is that Taylor slept her way through TONS of men!! And she has been dishonest with Ridge about a number of things! Including more recently, keeping the CPS secret from Ridge until AFTER she was to be married to him. And that’s why Ridge walked away from her! Taylor knew if the truth came out about what Thomas had done, Ridge may not want to marry her after all. There was NO OTHER REASON for withholding that information before an EXTREMELY IMPORTANT commitment, marriage!

You bring up things from decades ago about Brooke to make your points. You lose credibility when you do that, because everyone knows that Brooke absolutely HAS changed! You ladies fail to address my point that Brooke hasn’t slept with anyone other than Ridge since I’ve been watching the show - which is more than a decade in soap years! To effectively disparage Brooke you must go into your bag of tricks from when she was in her 30’s. She’s in her 60’s now!!!

DeleteWhen the CPS incident occurred, both Ridge and Thomas were staying at Eric's. Ridge had been on a date with Taylor when Brooke showed up and Ridge told her to leave. When Ridge found out about CPS, he confronted Brooke. They weren't together at all.
Lynn, you forget that Ridge loves Taylor. What part of not wanting to hurt the woman he loves screams obligation/guilt? He may love Brooke differently, but it doesn't minimize the love he has, and always had for Taylor.

It's been twice in the last 5 or so years, maybe longer. And it only worked because he thought Brooke had done something that she did not do. I don't want Brooke with ridge because he's an ass but I know that they will be back together. He will never stay with Taylor, it's just not going to last. DeleteElle, Taylor is a fraud! You don’t come back to LA to announce you’re dying without being certain. But that’s exactly what Taylor did. Then they run a few easy tests in LA and diagnose with some stupid broken heart syndrome, which obviously doesn’t mean much or she never would have gotten back together with Ridge.…the man who broke her heart time and time again. She would be a complete fool to put herself in that situation again, knowing full well how all this is going to end….Ridge back with Brooke! Taylor is absolutely an opportunist!! And while Ridge has said he loves Taylor, he’s also said to multiple people, multiple times that he does not want to hurt her or let her down again. And that is guilt plain and simple. And yes, the healing session with Chandra was completely inappropriate. It was inappropriate for Ridge to be doing that with Taylor and it was just as inappropriate for Taylor to go along with it! As I said, Taylor is a total opportunist at every turn! And in my eyes, that makes Taylor worse than Brooke. Brooke says what she wants and goes after it…head on! But Taylor is always sneaky and underhanded in her approach! She’s always the victim.

DeleteLynn, I never said that Ridge doesn't love Brooke. I've said he loves both women in different ways. Where we disagree is that he is with Taylor out of obligation or guilt. DeleteElle, I continue to maintain that Ridge will go back to Brooke. And in the end, they will be together. Taylor is just a temporary thing for Ridge. And he absolutely feels guilt and obligation to Taylor. He has said as much. So why can’t you just acknowledge that? I’ve also admitted that he cares for Taylor. But ultimately Brooke and Ridge will get back together. Even though I’d much prefer to see Brooke with Nick!

DeleteIt started with Taylor's BHS scare. We saw how terrified Ridge was of losing her. And no matter how much Brooke tries, Ridge continues to push her away. Not because he does not love her but because he has decided to do better for himself. Something that Brooke should also do. They are very toxic together.
I am hoping that she and Nick can make a go of it. They were very good together in the past.
Petra, yes, and Ridge will end up with Brooke again. Even if Nick comes back for some short lived visit. He seems very torn at the moment. Such a tired, old and boring SL.

I saw a bit of insecurity in Taylor today when she said….”So I’m not as beautiful when there’s drama???” LMAO!!! And even Ridge commented on how he likes this new version of Taylor that isn’t as insecure. Clearly, Taylor is very insecure when it comes to Brooke. And why wouldn’t she be? Brooke is beautiful, successful and exudes confidence. Only a VERY confident woman would continue to pursue a man like Ridge! He’s played hard to get for months.

DeleteRidge is a big boy and has been around the block plenty of times. I don’t think he “fell” for anything he didn’t want to fall for with regard to Brooke. It’s not like they just met each other. And most recently, he pursued her when the keyhole thing happened. Wasn’t that the same time that Taylor was being a stalker ??? Lol.

DeleteFirst day back at Forrester for Hope and what does she do, make a visit not once but twice to see Carter. Does she ever do any work? This thing with Carter doesn’t seem like it will last. As soon as she doesn’t get to manipulate him, she will be gone. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! She is her own mother. Carter is so easily to manipulate, Daphne needs to get him in a compromising situation again and Hope will end up leaving him once again. This time she has no power to fire Daphne. Daphne needs to stage this so she puts on a nightie and falls into Carter’s arms just when Hope comes in. Give Hope a taste of her own medicine!!

I don't think that relationship is going to last either. Carter took her back because it's what he wanted all along but, he seems unsure of why Hope has returned to him.
