ReplyDeleteMy guess is Sheila will fight with Luna over the gun. Luna will get shot and die. Then we can all give Sheila a clean slate.
What's up with Dr. Buckingham being so extra? Finn can't make Liam do anything he doesn't want to do. And who keeps calling and texting her? I guess the writers must be setting up the next storyline.
This can go many ways. Luna getting shot and dying is my favorite outcome. The lunatic gone forever! 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 But I can also see Steffy getting shot and Sheila calling 911 to get her to the hospital. This can also make way for JMW's exit if her wounds are severe and she has to be flown out for treatment somewhere.
DeleteI think (hope) Sheila might have called Det. Baker on her way to the beach house. That way, if someone does get shot, and Luna hears the sirens, that would be her cue to possibly get out of dodge never (hopefully) to be seen again. Can't wait for Monday!
Where Dr. Buckingham is concerned, she might be feeling a sense of guilt toward Liam given that her ex-husband stole Beth (with the help of Flo) and sold her on the black market. This might be what is driving her insistence that Liam gets the treatment. Maybe she wants to be the one to save him.

Elle not sure what's going on with Buckingham but as someone said, maybe she missed diagnosed Liam and it's not as serious as they thought.
Leading to Hope's commitment to Carter. Will she go through with it??
I liked today's episode. I was surprised how easily Taylor gave up Steffy's location. I would have expected Taylor to call Steffy, not just send her 9-toed mother-in-law to Hayes's art school. Good job, Shelia, connecting the dots regarding the orgami. 👣

Yes, as I’ve been saying for weeks now, I honestly think Sheila is FINALLY going to be welcomed into the Finn / Steffy family. She’s earned it. Not only has she truly changed, but she gets to be Steffy’s hero!
Viewers probably didn’t expect the episode to air today since it’s a holiday in the US. I’m guessing that’s why there are hardly any comments.
Taylor was arguing with Sheila for arguing sake since it's Sheila. 😂 I'm sure she told herself that if Sheila is concerned, she probably has good reason to be. This might be why she was willing to tell her where Steffy was.

I'm liking the new Sheila too, I must admit... but I'm still not convinced that she's fully changed. I don't think she has ulterior motives in this particular scenario with Luna but, looking at the bigger picture of "keeping her distance and acknowledging that Steffy is an important factor with her son and grandson," it will certainly help her be accepted by Finn, Steffy and the Forresters, which is her ultimate goal.
DeleteSheila is way too damaged to be able to completely change without medical intervention. She is very good at transforming into someone that people will accept as normal. That is until her true colors start to show. It takes only one incident to snap her back to reality and bring the crazy.
Elle I'm right there with you. I do like the "new" Sheila. But....I also like the diabolical side of her. Still not totally convinced she has changed. From the very beginning when Luna said to her, all we have to do is get rid of Steffy to get what we both want, she knew where Luna was going. And I think she played it well to be in the right place at the right time.

Here’s what I’ll say on Sheila, if she had any desire to conspire with Luna, she wouldn’t have asked Taylor where Steffy went. Because if something happened to Steffy at the Spencer beach house, Sheila could easily be implicated.
No, she’s definitely there to discourage Luna from making a horrible decision and to help Steffy.
I like Sheila these days. She’s a good success story! 😊😊😊

And all this Taylor bashing from others, people seem to forget what Sheila has done to Taylor, her family and especially Steffy, so Taylor must believe her with a click of the fingers 🤣 I wonder if the hypocrites here would have believed Sheila like they expect Taylor to. DeleteD - the only reason Sheila went to the beach house was to stop Luna from hurting Steffy. You can’t have ulterior motives if you didn’t know in advance. Sheila had no idea about the gun until Remy told her. Sheila was reacting in real time to what she had just been told. Prior to that, Sheila had been trying to convince Luna to leave town. She had also told Luna she needed to accept her circumstances and take responsibility for what she had done to get herself into this mess. There was no “using Luna”. Sheila simply wanted her gone so she would not end up back in prison.
DeleteHow can you “use someone” when you are trying to convince them to leave and start a new life someplace else??? The only way Sheila could be accused of using Luna is if she would have tried to convince Luna to go after Steffy and then show up at just the right moment to save the day. But nothing even remotely close to that happened.
Elle, as far as therapy being the only answer for someone truly changing….I don’t agree at all.
I know people in my personal life who have gone to therapy for years with no permanent or noteworthy results. And I also know people who have had zero therapy make very real changes to their lives. It all depends on the person. There is no one size fits all when it comes to change and rehabilitation.
I think Dr Buckingham is being threatened into using this 'treatment' on Liam. Possibly by her ex-husband and this group she has assembled to'help' Liam. We all know he's not really dying. I'm thinking Dr. Buckingham had something to do with the severity of his injury so she can use this treatment. Or he evil scientist of an ex husband did
ReplyDeleteI have to say Taylor was as irritating as hell. She just kept putting Sheila down and bringing up the past when she should have seen Sheila was there to help. Taylor must not be such a good psychiatrist because she doesn’t listen very well, just keeps blabbing her mouth on and on.

DeleteSheila has been keeping her distance from everyone. Taylor hasn't been around her to observe her behavior so her reaction to Sheila being there was totally normal given Sheila's history with the family.
DeleteHowever, in the end, she did let Sheila know where Steffy was, which means she would have identified something in Sheila to feel comfortable enough to give her that information.
Even if Taylor saw something in Sheila, how could she just give up Steffy's location to someone who shot her daughter. We know Sheila means well in this case, but with Taylor not calling the police after she left is strange on Taylor's part. I am glad she did give her the location even if she didn't give Sheila time to tell her what was wrong. But just nonchalantly give the location and not make a 911 call is insane for a mother to do. Hope Sheila called 911 after her nonanswered call to Finn. Text would have been better after so many calls. How easy to say 'Luna has a Gun', when no one will listen to you.
DeleteI'm no psychiatrist/psychologist to be able to say why Taylor gave up Steffy's location, I'm simply saying that Taylor (in her professional capacity) might have seen something different in Sheila. Maybe it was Sheila's seemingly genuine concern for Steffy. I dunno 🤷🏻♀️

DeleteSince I am going along with Lynn, on this being a new Sheila with a heart. I want her to ask Luna for the gun, because she knows how to handle a gun better in this situation, and then, out of nowhere, turn on her granddaughter. Just a thought.

Then go to tend Hayes was the craziest of all things B&B has did or done lately. Ridge walks in later. Will he ask her, is she insane!!? Hopefully, he will call 911, then go there himself.
