Booohoo Ridge I don’t blame you, but really it’s your fault I got drunk, kept my lingerie on instead of putting clothes on when I knew you weren’t coming home and my ex arrived, drank more booze, made out with Deacon and spent the night in bed with him. Whahhhhh, I really cannot be without a man for five minutes to feed my gigantic ego!
Alcoholics are to STAY away from Booze yet in all the soaps its there on the table for others to enjoy. Really? So Deacon should have been able to figure out something was wrong and so should have Hope. You dont get tipsy off fake Champagne. Thats the stupid part for me
But she does blame Ridge. She told him that when he's not around, she loses all sense of stability. So it's his fault because he was not around. Then she told Hope that she can't be around Deacon and his "influence." So it's Deacon's fault as well. It seems she can't take full responsibility for her actions without bringing down someone with her.
And we start off trashing Brooke. I'm not a drinker at all, but when I have drank I got to feeling good. I'll admit at the time I liked it and probably drank more. First of all the person that should be blamed here is Sheila. Brooke didn't realize she was drinking real champagne. So yes she got tipsy. I will admit that she probably didn't need to start in with the vodka, but of course there is buts here. If Deacon was any kind of good person at the time he would have told Brooke she had enough. He was decent enough to take her upstairs where she obviously passed out. I do agree with the fact that Brooke could have changed her clothes, but when you're feeling the effects of alcohol sometimes you don't stop and think. Believe me I'm the first person that believes that nobody can get drunk enough where they don't know what they're doing, but at the same time I've seen how people can act when they're under the influence of alcohol. I didn't pay attention to who kissed who, but either way I think it could have been stopped. And in my opinion I think Deacon should have stopped it. The point is that Sheila is the one that planned this whole thing and started all the crap. Somebody is going to figure things out and I think Taylor will play a part in it by the way Sheila was rambling on today. You could tell Taylor was sensing something off with Sheila. At least you can tell that Sheila has a problem with Brooke. The truth will come out, but the sad thing is that Brooke and Ridge will probably have to go through some more crap because of it. I'm not sure Brooke is going to tell Ridge what happened with Deacon, but I'm sure she's going to tell him about getting drunk. If she does tell him about Deacon I think the first thing Ridge will do is blame Deacon for doing something to get her drunk. And Deacon. Deacon will want to prove he didn't. Hopefully he'll think about Sheila and how nosey she was trying to be and atartbtivsuspectnher. I think he'll think about the bottle of non alcolic champaign he left on the bar when she was there. Not to mention he was saving it out for someone. Maybe he'll find out whoever it was never got it. I don't know, time will tell. I just don't think everybody should be putting all the blame on Brooke and should be putting most of it on Sheila for being her vindictive, psycho self. I really hope this time the writers put an end to her. They need to kill her character off and be done with it.
Thanks Bob, geeze who dresses Hope???? you would think Taylor would pick up on Sheilas comments? I am still bugged that NO one can figure out the bottle of Champagne was supposed to be non alcohol, call the Bar and ???? How hard can this be for crying out loud
Did Taylor not get suspicious as to how Sheila knew Ridge was out of town? Sheila has started her dirty tricks with Brooke, but once Taylor sets boundaries with her, she may turn on Taylor also. If Deacon really wanted to have a father/daughter relationship with Hope, he should have never drank alcohol with Brooke. It was obvious that Brooke was tipsy and Deacon took advantage of the situation. I think Deacon is using Hope to get to Brooke. Brooke should have set boundaries with Deacon from the start. If he wants to see Hope, go to the cabin but stay away from the main house.
Hope and Brooke having the conversation they should have had when deacon came into the picture. If Hope wants deacon she can have him... why is it OK to push him on everyone else.
Brooke is blaming Deacon and it isn’t even it about the drinking. She still has feelings and fantasies about Deacon from their time together and she won’t face that so easier to blame Deacon for her staying in-her lingerie and making out with him! She was cross because Ridge couldn’t get home so as always she uses whatever man is available to fill the gap. It’s a life long pattern with Brooke! She refuses to control herself and her libido and blames everyone else!
Hope lives on Brooke’s property in her cabin so seeing Deacon will bring them into proximity regardless!

DeleteKill Sheila? It's a soap baby. Sheila gives us the cliff hangers.
DeleteGosh your long diatribe was a yawn fest.

ReplyDeleteRetro is okay but the clashing colour pallet made me sad. The 1970’s/80’s style French braid completed the look. They make Hope so very frumpy.
DeleteI bet she will tell him about the drinking but won't tell him she kissed decan
ReplyDeleteI agree. Brooke will tell Ridge she broke her sobriety. Douglas will blab the part about her kissing "Santa" aka Deacon.
Deletethat 70s looking thing is cool but does not go with pants and wrinkled shirt that hope was wearing

Ah Brooke, cry me a river... Always messsing up, with or without alcohol & dreaded Sheila... Lol!
