Brooke and Hope didn't buy the Forresters laying out the welcome mat for Sheila. Sheila making Steffy feel guilty as the shooting being Steffy's fault. Sheila wondering, Oh your still mad about that? I didn't mean to shoot HIM, so that's better than meaning to shoot him. And...Now comes the label scandal. What about New Year's Eve? Brooke doesn't like Deacon defending Sheila. Brooke EXTEND sympathy? Hahah good one. Sheila says Steffy gave her no choice. Is anyone thinking Steffy could shut up once in a while and not egg on a psycho? Besides in their book sabotauging Brooke's sobriety is as grave as killing Finn. Stay mad Ridge we wanna see Brooke with Deacon for awhile. Thomas whaaat! He would never keep this secret. OOPS! Thomas is gonna get grounded.
BL123, did anyone notice that brook confronted and antagonised and “egged”on a psycho by mouthing off?? And started the whole ball rolling because she can’t keep her mouth shut..??
Steffy was protecting her family, especially her son, and with Sheila’s history, and Sheila’s timing to just show up out of nowhere all of a sudden, wanting to b apart of the family she has been obsessed her whole adult life over, how convenient to show up the day he married a forrester!! Who in their right mind, would allow Sheila to be around their child??
Steffy didn’t handle the situation well at all, that’s obvious, but brook antagonised Sheila to begin with..has anyone thought about that through all of this, despite how obvious it is and has been made?? Or has Sheila managed to manipulate the audience as well?? Like Taylor said, she’s good, but not that good, even when it’s plain as day lol..
Colly, I have to completely disagree. The truth is, every single person has told Sheila she needs to stay away. Ridge has been extremely vocal the whole time and so was Thomas. Brooke was one of many who wanted psycho Sheila to stay away. Brooke didn’t set anything in motion that wasn’t already rolling down the hill at full speed. Sheila just hates Brooke with a passion, and Brooke isn’t connected directly to Finn or Hayes, so it was an easy choice for Sheila to target Brooke. She needed to keep Taylor, Ridge and Steffy out of her line of fire as long as there was still a snowball’s chance in hell that she would be welcomed into the fold. And Sheila said as much during the discussion at Steffy’s. She commented how mean Steffy had been to her, but she knew she couldn’t alienate Steffy because Steffy was wife to Finn and mother to Hayes. I am seriously having a tough time with your rationale to blame Brooke as the person who ultimately set Sheila in motion. Sheila saw an opportunity to alienate Brooke which was extremely exciting to Sheila. And she actually thought the Forresters would appreciate her scheme because it would bring Ridge and Taylor together. However, clearly Sheila grossly misjudged how the label switch would be perceived by all the Forresters. Brooke has been nothing but understanding and kind lately. Quit Brooke bashing for no reason. Oh and guess who’s gonna be knocking down Brooke’s door in the near term. Yes, Ridge will be!!!
Lynn, I am not actually blaming brook despite how it sounds.. I am trying to point out, that others, not yourself, but others are implying that Sheila is correct in blaming steffy for why Sheila did what she did.. i don’t blame brook or steffy, either.. I am pointing out, that people are quick to jump on steffy as the blame, because she confronted Sheila , in defence of brook mind you, and none of these people have seen that it was not just steffy who antagonised Sheila, brook did also, which set Sheila in motion to go after her, which then, once steffy found out what Sheila did to brook, confronted Sheila, and antagonised her as well.. so they were both silly for doing that… people are saying that Sheila is right, and that steffy is to blame for what happened, no one, not even steffy fans have said that about brook who did the same thing.. both brook and steffy were defending each other, and both antagonised Sheila.. so my point was that if ppl r going to say that about steffy, then perhaps they should look at brook as to partly to blame also.. if brook didn’t antagonise Sheila, then she would not have attacked brook in the manner she did, which in turn, steffy would have no reason to confront Sheila over it.. steffies motives were not just about keeping her away from the family, but also what she did to brook..
I am pointing out that if ppl want to play the blame game in regards to this chain of events, then the “facts” are, it did start with brook and anyone who tries to deny that is blind and deaf.. no one is to blame but Sheila, it’s that simple.. she is a psychopath who tried to make people beleive she had changed.. if she had, she would not have went after brook the way she did, and in turn, have steffy call her out on it when she found out, because Sheila had to gloat about it, to Sheila shooting her and Finn.. Sheila can try blame everyone, but herself.. so if anyone can say Sheila is right about steffy, but not acknowledge how the whole chain of events, baffles me!!
Colly, I agree that it is no one’s fault but Sheila’s. You and I agree that is where the blame should be squarely put. Steffy will live with guilt tho because of what Sheila said to her. While I don’t think it was wise for Steffy to go into an alley with a known sociopath, common sense does sometimes go out the window when you are in the heat of the moment of anger. It was a bad set of events that got us here. And yes, we can take this all the way back to the beginning. Sheila should have never come to LA. She should have stayed put and let her son live his best life. But then it wouldn’t be a soap opera I suppose. Have a great weekend!
Yes I agree with you Lynn Brooke did not get the ball rolling because the ball was already rolling before she came back to LA. Remember she told Finn the day of the wedding that she has been keeping up with him since he was a child. Watching him through social media being that he was a doctor. So she could've reached out to Finn way before his marriage to a Forrester
Lynn, that’s all I was trying to say, is that it’s unfair for anyone to say it was someone else’s fault.. every one did things that caused Sheila to do what she did, but all of them r going to feel some sort of responsibility for what happened, and probably steffy most of all.. and despite how it happened, regardless of the chain events, they were all trying to find a way to either get rid of her, or keep her under control, which is impossible to do either when it comes to sheila.. so those who r saying that sheila is right, I don’t understand because even if steffy handled it differently, sheila would have done something anyway, because she was not going to stop till she got her way.. I would certainly not want sheila around, ever, knowing what she put my family through previously.. I would keep her away from my child no matter what I had to do.. if u give sheila an inch, she will take so much more.. what she wants, she will do anything to get..
π Love the name. But seriously did nobody think of pulling out a cell and record all the confessions? Shelia will still get out of this somehow and cause more drama for the family. Maybe when Finn comes back and backs up Stef's story she will finally be behind bars . Until then the drama continues. Cheers Bob and ty.
Ridge needs to watch his anger with Sheila. That is what sets her in motion to seek revenge. Brooke's payback for confronting Sheila was the label switch. Steffy was shot for raging at Sheila. Poor Finn was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Ridge will probably be Sheila's next victim for the way he threatened her today. It is not possible to reason with someone like Sheila. It made for great television; however, in real life, it would be best to let law enforcement handle the situation. Save the speeches for Sheila for the victim impact statement part of the trial.
But what fun would that be Renee?? If everything on soaps were done the way it is in real life, the show would be boring as bay shit!! That’s why people watch soaps and get so enthralled by them, because they can escape reality and insert themselves into a fictional world!! Although , reading some of the comments on here, including mine, some people get too rapped in it sometimes π€£π€£ but if an actor/actress can manipulate our minds to that extent, then they r doing their job well!! That’s why they have Oscar’s and Emmy awards.. the awards r named for different things, but at the end of the day, all of those awards r for the same thing, who can make people lose their minds and forget it’s just a show!!
It would b more fun if Sheila took Taylor at gun point and escaped, then kept Taylor somewhere while she keeps going in her delusional mind that she loves Taylor, and that Taylor really does love Sheila and is on her side, and Taylor has to outsmart Sheila in the manipulation game to get her to let her go, and in the end, Taylor ends up shooting Sheila, then, she will go mad because she she will blame herself for everything that happened plus add to that, that a psychopath who destroyed her life, shot her, then saved her life, shot her daughter, killed her son in law only to end with her having to shoot Sheila, and the guilt that she will feel, she will sympathise with Sheila, despite all she did, because Sheila showed her how much she “loved” her while she was held captive.. only to have to gain her trust by out manipulating her and killing her.. she will blame herself for everything, and go mad!! The rest will come to me π€£π€£π€£
Yeah grab taylor at gun point take off-where? to Deacons mop room hovel? Taylor will get Stockholm Syndrome and fall madly in love with her. Forget Ridge. He's no longer enough excitement trying to lure him away back and forth from Brooke. No don't arrest her here. Where's our high speed chase? They can edit in laps from the Daytona 500 as if it was them. Even the Brady Bunch has done that- not even as a joke.
All you people that feel an older person have no right to be with a younger person is wrong for judging!!! I look at Donna with Eric and REALLY kissing him, I take my hat off for the character Donna!! Just Saying!!!
There is nothing wrong with an older person being with a younger person. But from an outsider looking in, it always appears to be a trophy wife situation. And that makes old men as old pervs and nothing more. And it capitalizes on the idea that age appropriate women are no longer attractive. That sexist ageism is disgusting. There are tons of very attractive older women. And this idea that women need to be 30 years old to still be considered beautiful is obnoxious and untrue.
The problem with the Eric & Donna storyline is not their age difference, but it is that we, the viewers, have no idea how the relationship materialized. Many months ago, Quinn jammed an office chair in Donna's leg & Eric fired her from FC. Donna tearfully packed up her collection of honey bear bottles, shared the news with her sisters, & went on with her life taking the children out for ice cream. The viewers were blindsided by a π― π» bedroom flash scene. How did it happen? Who approached who? Afterall, nobody has an issue with the age difference between Quinn & Eric. I suspect Donna & Quinn are about the same age. So, when there is no substance to the relationship, all that leaves the viewers with is their physical relationship. Hence, nothing left to talk about except speculation about what attracted the former married couple to secretly reunite. Back in the day, when Eric & Donna were husband & wife, the age difference was not obvious. Now, decades later, there is no doubt that Eric is older than Donna. Nothing wrong with that, but what made Eric decide to cheat on Quinn?
So Sheila is now blaming Brooke for losing her own sobriety because she should not have come after Sheila and told her that she would do whatever it takes to keep her away from Steffy, Finn and Hayes. Everyone else is to blame except Sheila! At least she was right about one thing... she may have made Brooke drink but everything else that happened after that is all on Brooke.
So let me get this straight. Deacon came over to Brooke's just to gossip?
Oh Thomas, let me see you explain yourself out of this one. You should have just told your parents what you learnt about Sheila and the label switch from the get go. Then to discover that Steffy confronting Sheila which led to her getting shot was because she learnt of the secret you were keeping - twice the guilt!
Great show today and great acting by all the players! Taylor: You b*&^ch!
Thomas wanted his mommy and daddy together like any well adjusted 33 year old. He is very busy deciding who's messages get through, meeting psychos to discuss the merits of glue on labels, and anything that keeps him from babysitting his own kid or waiting around for Hope to get dumped. He's gonna get grounded for this, and even may lose daddy-paid credit card priviledges.
Agree ell, not sure how thomas is going to get out of this one.. but it’s sad, because sheila is so expert at manipulation, that even when she is caught out red handed, she can still turn it on others so that they will feel guilt for the rest of their lives, steffy, thomas, Taylor, they will all carry apart of guilt that they might have contributed to Finn’s death.. when the blame really lies with sheila.. it’s like one final stab of the knife before she pays for what she did.. she’s that good at it , she even has fans believing she is right!!
At the end of the day, Sheila did not have to retaliate to brook the way she did, and she was going to shoot steffy in cold blood because she was supposedly protecting her relationship with her son, and regardless of wether Finn was there or not, she was pulling the trigger to shoot steffy.. no, steffy should not have confronted her in the manner she did, yes, thomas should have told his family straight away, yes, Taylor should have seen through her, but ultimately, Sheila pulled out a gun and pulled the trigger.. it really is that simple.. she is a master manipulator, and a psychopath who is completely delusional..
if ppl really want to play the blame game, brook is the one who set this all in motion, because SHE couldn’t keep her trap shut, just like ppl r accusing steffy of doing, so really, if ppl want to look at it from that angle, and say sheila is right, because steffy mouthed off, then let’s look at brook, who actually started it all, because , apparently, just like steffy, as ppl r saying, couldn’t keep her trap shut and antagonised Sheila, from the beginning!!
So everyone is on the merry go round, and at the end of the day, Sheila is the one who pulled a gun and shot it, because she is a psycho, simple as that really!!
Agreed Colly. It's that simple. Sheila is psychotic and it is beyond me that people are actually siding with her and blaming Steffy. If that's the case, they should side with Sheila in blaming Brooke too!
No one said Sheila was right, people were marveling at her nerve. And Brooke's nerve at grabbing the handiest bottle and guy because Ridge couldn't make it back? Get one of those hug pillows Brooke.
Colly, you must be kidding when you say….”I don’t know how Thomas is going to get out of this one”. Ridge defends Thomas always and under any circumstances. Ridge will get upset with Thomas for 5 mins, then will be singing his praises again in no time!! Ridge’s allegiance is always with his kids no matter how badly they “F” up!
Ell, my opinion, is that sheila, and only sheila, is responsible for everything she did.. sheila can grab at straws to try to find any and everyone else to blame, but no matter who said what, no one put a gun to Sheila’s head, (pun intended), to make her do all the things she did.. she cried wolf that she has changed, and was “not a violent” person anymore, she says one thing, then does the opposite, then tries to manipulate people into believing it’s everyone else’s fault but her own..
Before the brook lovers start jumping up and down, ranting about how poor brook wasn’t responsible for her actions that night, and nothing was her fault, despite the fact she antagonised Sheila to start with, the only thing I will give Sheila, is that although she switched the labels, she did not force brook to
Make ridge feel guilty for not making it home and leaving her alone (goodness forbid), and lie to ridge for months, or to “manipulate” hope and Liam to keep her secret, or , manipulate Liam into going over to steffy’s to spy on ridge under the vail of using his young daughter to do it, and defend deacon both before and afterwards before her own husband ridge, and constantly dismiss ridges feelings, and demand that hope stays at “HER” home (given to her by ridge) that she supposedly shared with ridge, but he has no say, and worst of all, “manipulate” a little boy into keeping silent..
fan or not.. I’d say brook is almost as bad as Sheila in the manipulation game.. almost..
It's what we have been saying all along, Colly. Brooke may have been manipulated into drinking which would have led to her kissing Deacon but everything Brooke did before and after that night is all on Brooke. It's the only thing that Sheila was right about in her entire diatribe. And it is the very thing that Ridge was upset about. He said it himself that he could get past what happened on NYE but it was Brooke constantly putting Deacon before him is what he had an issue with.
Brooke will feel vindicated when she finds out what Sheila did and Ridge would feel sorry that Brooke was manipulated into drinking, but I do not believe that "all will be forgiven" in Ridge's eyes towards Brooke.
Sheila should of kill Steffy outing Shelia for a " Brooke" who cares nothing about " her" that if the situation were " reversed" would not do the same for her Oh please give me a freaking break ...then Miss " lynn" wouldnt be bragging about Ridge turning up at Brooke' s doorπ
This is seriously bad stuff what psychos are capable of and Sheila is still blaming everyone else !! Grief. But really good acting. Thanks Bob
ReplyDeleteThank you Bob xxxx

Ridge will get upset with Thomas for 5 mins, then will be singing his praises again in no time!! Ridge’s allegiance is always with his kids no matter how badly they “F” up!
DeleteEll, my opinion, is that sheila, and only sheila, is responsible for everything she did.. sheila can grab at straws to try to find any and everyone else to blame, but no matter who said what, no one put a gun to Sheila’s head, (pun intended), to make her do all the things she did.. she cried wolf that she has changed, and was “not a violent” person anymore, she says one thing, then does the opposite, then tries to manipulate people into believing it’s everyone else’s fault but her own..
ReplyDeleteCorrect Colly!
DeleteBefore the brook lovers start jumping up and down, ranting about how poor brook wasn’t responsible for her actions that night, and nothing was her fault, despite the fact she antagonised Sheila to start with, the only thing I will give Sheila, is that although she switched the labels, she did not force brook to
ReplyDeleteMake ridge feel guilty for not making it home and leaving her alone (goodness forbid), and lie to ridge for months, or to “manipulate” hope and Liam to keep her secret, or , manipulate Liam into going over to steffy’s to spy on ridge under the vail of using his young daughter to do it, and defend deacon both before and afterwards before her own husband ridge, and constantly dismiss ridges feelings, and demand that hope stays at “HER” home (given to her by ridge) that she supposedly shared with ridge, but he has no say, and worst of all, “manipulate” a little boy into keeping silent..
fan or not..
DeleteBrooke will feel vindicated when she finds out what Sheila did and Ridge would feel sorry that Brooke was manipulated into drinking, but I do not believe that "all will be forgiven" in Ridge's eyes towards Brooke.
But as usual Ell, that will all be forgotten now!! U know what the writers r like!!
DeleteAll ridge was worried about was how brook can’t work out what the forces were telling her, and that she sees herself “as a horrible person”..π€£π€£
DeleteBrooke still is a horrible person, doesn't even disguise selfish agenda. They all are really. All done bad stuff shot people too.
DeleteFun to watch what horrible selfish thing they will do next in the name of family.
DeleteLol Colly, right? Brooke can blame it all on Sheila and sweep her lying and manipulating her husband for months under the rug… sigh.
DeleteFantastic performance by these two actresses. Looking forward to next week!
ReplyDeleteSheila should of kill Steffy outing Shelia for a " Brooke" who cares nothing about " her" that if the situation were " reversed" would not do the same for her Oh please give me a freaking break ...then Miss " lynn" wouldnt be bragging about Ridge turning up at Brooke' s doorπ
ReplyDeleteRidge might show up at Brooke's askaired of Sheila on the rampage. Hide me Hide me.
