Colly, you are funny! That one eye tearing up is pretty powerful. But I honestly think they just have a magical connection that goes beyond Brooke’s obvious super powers. I think Brooke truly loves Ridge and I also believe her heart is in the right place when it comes to him. Taylor knows she’s lost. Taylor doesn’t have the fighting spirit or confidence Brooke has. I’d like to see Taylor happy too. Just don’t think Ridge and Taylor are the ultimate love story. They make good parents to Steffy and Thomas, but that’s about as far as it goes.
And maybe if I would have watched all the years I missed, I would feel differently about Brooke. There are decades of episodes I didn’t see. I just know I liked Brooke when the show started and I like her now.

It took some getting used to for me. I didn’t like the new Ridge’s whispery voice. Even when he yells, it’s just a raspy whispery yell. 😂😂😂 And I think he’s annoying sometimes the way he acts. But I’m more used to him now I suppose. I think Ridge and Brooke seem good together. But don’t think he’s worth all the fighting over. I want Deacon to get into a relationship. I’d like to see Taylor happy too. Just don’t think Ridge and Taylor are the ultimate love story. They make good parents to Steffy and Thomas, but that’s about as far as it goes.

If he is looking for reliability and predictability, he can get a dog. Taylor is boring. She doesn’t have any spark or zing. Ridge said it….”I want that more than anything.” He wants his life with Brooke. The Taylor show was short lived for sure!

It’s about Brooke telling Ridge that he has no say over who is in his home or life. She told him it was her house and that Deacon was always welcome. That her ex could just show up and she didn’t care how Ridge felt. It’s about Brooke forcing Douglas to be quiet and manipulating a child to shut up and hide her secrets. It’s about Brooke getting Liam to use Kelly to spy on Ridge. It’s about Brooke being utterly selfish and treating her husband as an outsider. Brooke put Deacon before Ridge and that is before she got drunk and made out with him.

The fact Brooke has always turned to another man when she was sad, bored, lonely, cross, etc. There is always an excuse.
What husband is expected to put up with that??? She has NO faith in Ridge. She disrespects their marriage and relationship. She lays down ultimatums and expects Ridge to jump through endless hoops.
He’s right, love doesn’t mean one has to put up with a toxic relationship forever. It’s time to say enough. Love doesn’t conquer everything. Some people just aren’t good as a couple and bring out the worst in each other. That is Brooke and Ridge and their toxic marriage. Brooke will always put herself and the Logan’s interests before Ridge.

And it got old a very long time ago. Steffy and Taylor lose. Ridge isn’t in love with Taylor and won’t be back in that relationship anytime soon. Ridge loves his Forrester family, that’s the reason he stayed at Steffy’s, not because he wanted Taylor back as his wife. Taylor got no kiss from Ridge, no “I love you”. ReplyDeleteRidge is mad because Brooke wouldn't let him have his temper tantrum and beat Deacon up. Actually, I was hoping Deacon put Ridge in intensive care. Brooke and Deacon share a daughter together just like Ridge shares children with Taylor. If Brooke has to stay away from Deacon, then Ridge needs to stay away from Taylor. I wonder if Ridge would stand by and let Brooke beat Taylor up? According to Ridge, Brooke can't be around Deacon, but Ridge and Taylor expected Hope to let Steffy play pretend marriage with Liam. Hope should tell Ridge that if Brooke cannot be around Deacon, then maybe Liam shouldn't be around Steffy. No more spending nights or family play time with Kelly.

Brooke has passed on her unrelenting self absorption to Hope, who attempts to disguise it. It was so prevalent in her life, Steffy adapted it over her other role model, rejecting to emulate Taylor's mealy-mouth lack of confidence. Steffy's sense of entitlement demands that her subjects worship and put her first on everything.
