Did I miss something?? Liam said to brook that Thomas proceeded to taunt brook with knife despite her asking him to put it away.. If Brooke did make that call, she is wrong! She is totally over exaggerating the "dangerous" knife incident. Simple answer, let CPS be the judge of that...I've dealt with CPS before in the "real world" they'll do their investigation with all persons involved and come to a decision...I don't care who called CPS, a child's welfare is most important...for what ever reason CPS was called its with good intension right or wrong...better safe than sorry...

Douglas' welfare is indeed the most important but with the way that Brooke is behaving, Douglas is safer being away from her. Brooke could not control her impulses and decided to call CPS to "take Thomas down." I wonder if she even thought about how this would affect Douglas? Somehow, I doubt it because she is obsessed with getting rid of Thomas. Douglas does not need to be around a "grandma" who cannot even accept that he loves and wants to be with his dad.
@Elle I mentioned that earlier. She doesn't care about the poor little boy and is wasting cps's time when there is more important things for them to do rather than a revenge from a bitter relatives that abuse the system.
Forever 36, that's kinda what I'm thinking too. We don't absolutely know who called, so it could have been Thomas himself. It's just the kind of thing he would do to set Brooke up. Of course it's possible that it was her. We'll find out eventually, but there was a reason why the call wasn't shown on screen

When Ridge was leaving the office, Thomas told him he was sticking around the office for a bit and would be home soon. So really, he could have also called.
I think it's either Brooke or Thomas. Liam was with Hope and Taylor and Steffy were elsewhere and did not even know about Brooke threatening Thomas with calling CPS. It was only Brooke and Thomas who knew about that so it had to be one of them.
And very remote possibility, but still one, I would also venture to say that Douglas could have called. If he was listening to the argument between his dad and Brooke, he could have got it into his head to call CPS using the app on his phone with Brooke's voice (up till now, he and Eric are the only ones who know about the app).
When Ridge told him that he has 2 homes, one with his dad and the other with Hope and Liam, Douglas responded that "he liked it here." If he really does not want to go back to the cabin, I can see him calling CPS so that he can tell them himself that he wants to stay with his dad and grandpa.

He went into palliative care because he had cancer.. sadly he had no family, just his best mate and me.. I have been treating him the last three years and became very attached to him.. he was in his 80’s and was a Vietnam veteran.. I stayed with him until he passed away.. I am very sad at the moment, even though I have seen many people pass from this horrible disease, it never gets easier 😞 I didn’t have time to watch the show or comment, sorry guys ❤️❤️

Pens can be used to stab someone in the eye or in the neck or in the leg or in the chest. There is a reason why they don't allow pens in a prison. Pens can indeed be considered a weapon. I think Thomas made the call using that pretend-voice device that Douglas has been playing with and used it to make the call using Brookes voice? that way He will get rid of Brooke when ridge finds out and he will keep Douglas. I have been thinking why did they bother explaining that toy Douglas was playing with but anyway I might be wrong lol.
That is a great theory but I think way outside of the scope of imagination shown by the writers so far. If it happened that way I'd be impressed! Fingers crossed!
But there is definitely evidence that supports a development like this. Like showing Charlie (who's eavesdropping all of a sudden and pleads allegiance) and the forgotten Brooke bag - potentially with the phone inside that he stole and helped Thomas do what you said. It's a possibility!

I read on a Spoiler that Ridge called in a favour to find out who placed the call. Apparently it was supposed to be Brook's voice but there was a hint that it may not have been her. My theory is the phone app played a part here and Brook is innocent.

The same Brooke who knew Taylor had returned from the dead, paid her a visit, told her to stay dead then returned home to Ridge and acted like she knew nothing at all about Taylor being alive.
And the same Brooke who is purposely leaving out the fact that Thomas was peeling an apple with the knife and making it seem like Thomas was just playing with the knife while around Douglas.
Brooke can certainly call CPS then pretend that someone framed her without even breaking a sweat.

DeleteI think it's either Brooke or Thomas. Liam was with Hope and Taylor and Steffy were elsewhere and did not even know about Brooke threatening Thomas with calling CPS. It was only Brooke and Thomas who knew about that so it had to be one of them.
And very remote possibility, but still one, I would also venture to say that Douglas could have called. If he was listening to the argument between his dad and Brooke, he could have got it into his head to call CPS using the app on his phone with Brooke's voice (up till now, he and Eric are the only ones who know about the app).
When Ridge told him that he has 2 homes, one with his dad and the other with Hope and Liam, Douglas responded that "he liked it here." If he really does not want to go back to the cabin, I can see him calling CPS so that he can tell them himself that he wants to stay with his dad and grandpa.

Thanks lovely ladies.. I am sorry I didn’t pop in to say anything, but I was keeping a bedside vigil with a patient of mine.. He went into palliative care because he had cancer.. sadly he had no family, just his best mate and me.. I have been treating him the last three years and became very attached to him.. he was in his 80’s and was a Vietnam veteran.. I stayed with him until he passed away.. I am very sad at the moment, even though I have seen many people pass from this horrible disease, it never gets easier 😞 I didn’t have time to watch the show or comment, sorry guys ❤️❤️

DeleteLynn sorry have to disagree. It was a paring knife. Something people use everyday. He was expressing anger with hand gestures and it happened to be a paring knife in his hand. If it was a pen would that be threatening? His anger came from Brooke walking in to His home and demanding YOU Have to return Douglas now. That's not out of line?
ReplyDeleteD - It looks like a pocket knife to me. But who cares. The point is, if someone were pointing a very sharp knife at me in a threatening manner, I would take that as a threat. And it wasn’t a pen. That’s like saying I could point a gun at someone and my defense would be - well I could have just as easily been holding a pen. Lol. Sorry that doesn’t fly. If you have a weapon in your hand that could kill someone and you say threatening things - then that should be reported. That’s not NORMAL behavior. People just don’t do that!

I am sure that if Thomas had a pen, Brooke would have still been afraid for her life. Why? Because this is not about the pen or the knife. It is about Thomas and her wanting him out of their lives.

I think Thomas made the call using that pretend-voice device that Douglas has been playing with and used it to make the call using Brookes voice? that way He will get rid of Brooke when ridge finds out and he will keep Douglas. I have been thinking why did they bother explaining that toy Douglas was playing with but anyway I might be wrong lol.

DeleteBut there is definitely evidence that supports a development like this. Like showing Charlie (who's eavesdropping all of a sudden and pleads allegiance) and the forgotten Brooke bag - potentially with the phone inside that he stole and helped Thomas do what you said. It's a possibility!

DeleteI believe Thomas made the call too but not with the 'voice device' or anything - i think he did it as a final nail in the coffin to his dad and Brooke's marriage- he wants her out of his dad's life and the best possible way is to frame Brooke for calling CPS on him. He knows it will turn his dad raging in anger against 'Brooke'
DeleteI read on a Spoiler that Ridge called in a favour to find out who placed the call. Apparently it was supposed to be Brook's voice but there was a hint that it may not have been her. My theory is the phone app played a part here and Brook is innocent.

And the same Brooke who is purposely leaving out the fact that Thomas was peeling an apple with the knife and making it seem like Thomas was just playing with the knife while around Douglas.
