In the meantime we have Finn, Li, Deacon and Sheila which is really has much more potential for a great storyline. Let's hope ( with a small H) Lame gets the boot because his lame acting with every line beginning with "I mean..." . Sorry but Thomas is more a man than your emasculated self lame boy. He is hardly Bills son. In fact that DNA test needs a redo. Maybe Kelly's as well. And speaking of Kelly, maybe Lame and Hopeless , even Brooke show a bit more concern over her seeing more of her daddy or at least as much as Hope is seeing her "son". Perhaps Brooke might worry less about an adopted grandson and more about RJ. In fact he could be her weapon to get back Ridge since Taylor is using their "children" for reunification. RJ may visit on her s own when he learns about Brooke falling off the deep end. Her inevitable breakdown is coming and might be hastened by Thomas and/or Sheila. No worries though. With Ridge on the sidelines, she has Lame, Bill the Stallion, Deacon and Eric to buoy her up. That is not one but two of her sisters men. And her daughters. The question will be, how far will Liam go to support Brooke and how much interference will Finn tolerate from Steffy re Brooke? Will Hope fall for Thomas or Finn because she and Lane are doomed. So many questions, so little action. Just the same old dialogue on repeat. Yawn

After the way Thomas obsesses about Hope, Brooke has every right to feel protective of her daughter and her adoptive grandson. I just had an image of all you Maroney fans going into a tailspin about Brooke being his adoptive grandmother, but what else is she, he is Hopes son and she is Hopes mother, yes that makes her his grandmother, he even calls her grandma. Perhaps if his aunt, paternal grandmother, granddad, great granddad had shown any interest when his father was abusing him then things may be different, but they didn`t and it`s not. This really has FA to do with the original conversation about the knife, it`s all about the stage Thomas started holding that knife up and threatening Brooke. I certainly wouldn`t allow anyone to stand in front of me holding up a knife, as Thomas was, and not do something about it. @Maur. We've already established I'm not a decent parent as I used a knife to cut things all time around my kids. If Thomas is or isn't spiraling again Brooke is going to make it out to be that way. If he was holding a pen in his hand at the time and pointing it at her, she would still take it as a threat and Douglas isn't safe.
Thomas is spiraling because Brooke and Liam say so? And please don't tell me about Thomas obsessing over Hope's photo on his phone becase that is not what was shown. What I saw was Thomas looking at a photo of Hope and Douglas for all of 15 seconds then was willing himself to stop. He exercised restraint and has not been shown since then to be obsessing or spiraling.
I have an idea! Maybe what Brooke and Liam are doing with Thomas is intentional. Remind him of his past just enough so that he goes down that road again. They are both disgusting if that's their plan.
Elle I’ve been thinking the same thing. Liam and Brooke will gaslight Thomas and manipulate him into something and the claim he freaked out and did something dangerous to get Hope full custody. If she would have explained to ridge what Thomas said while pointing the knife, it would be totally different. But she didn't say anything about that. She mad eit sound like Thomas is unfit just for having a knife, which is nuts.

DeleteI thought she was flashing back at the beginning when she first walked in and saw the knife. But I am not aware of a past incident with Thomas and a knife. Seriously, who leaves that part out of the story??!! 😂😂😂
Oh, one other thing...can't Ridge decide for himself what he wants? Steffy & Thomas needs to stay out of his life and his choices...the man has no back bone

@Maur. We've already established I'm not a decent parent as I used a knife to cut things all time around my kids. If Thomas is or isn't spiraling again Brooke is going to make it out to be that way. If he was holding a pen in his hand at the time and pointing it at her, she would still take it as a threat and Douglas isn't safe.
DeleteThomas is spiraling because Brooke and Liam say so? And please don't tell me about Thomas obsessing over Hope's photo on his phone becase that is not what was shown. What I saw was Thomas looking at a photo of Hope and Douglas for all of 15 seconds then was willing himself to stop. He exercised restraint and has not been shown since then to be obsessing or spiraling.
DeleteI have an idea! Maybe what Brooke and Liam are doing with Thomas is intentional. Remind him of his past just enough so that he goes down that road again. They are both disgusting if that's their plan.
Elle I’ve been thinking the same thing. Liam and Brooke will gaslight Thomas and manipulate him into something and the claim he freaked out and did something dangerous to get Hope full custody. They have both said they would do anything to make sure Douglas stays with Hope. The fact is they both want to cut Thomas 100% out of his son’s life. They have for years. That is just wrong!!!

I admit that Steffy and Thomas are being completely obnoxious and relentless in not letting Ridge alone. Let him make his own choices. I don’t like that they are disrespecting their father’s ability to make his own decisions. I understand why they are doing it but they need to stay out of it.

She has made her decision and wishes clear as far Thomas and Douglas go. Both Liam and Brooke constantly get in her face about it and go behind her back to confront Thomas and try to force Douglas to leave his father! They both tell Thomas what an unfit father he is.
Brooke whose very small children started the house on fire because she left them home alone while drunk and chasing a fella to sleep with has NO room to talk about parenting. She also kidnapped Bridget and Rick and ran off with them to the Bahamas while having a nervous breakdown so if anyone should understand it’s her!!
Not to mention she directly caused a lot of Thomas’s brain trauma when she pushed him off a cliff and left him for dead!
Liam was involved with a hit n run and went home again. He’s neglected Kelly for years and participated in Santagate with Brooke and Hope gaslighting poor Douglas.
Neither of them have any room to talk about parenting!!
Brooke could have seen how happy Douglas is etc, instead she was acting like a paranoid psycho over cutting an apple with a small knife 🙄🙄🙄.
Both Liam and Brooke are utterly disrespecting Hope! They are doing the same thing they are accusing Steffy and Thomas of doing. All of the extemporaneous players need to stay in their lane and mind their own business.
Douglas petitions the court for emancipation from all his screwed up adult relatives.
