I think JMW just put on weight in general after her last child. She was never a skinny person and I have noticed that it's not only her butt, but her legs, her tummy and her arms. If you look at below her chin area, you also notice that she has put on some weight. Don't be surprised that in a few months, she will drop it again.

In all fairness, Ridge had not reunited with Brooke since the NYE debacle. He had been spending a lot of time with Taylor and was shown to be thinking about whether he should stay with Brooke or reunite with Taylor. Even after finding out about the CPS call (supposedly made by Brooke), he was still shown to be thinking about whether he should stay with Brooke or reunite with Taylor. The CPS call is significant, for sure, but it was not the only reason that Ridge chose Taylor. However, it might have been the final determining factor. A trigger can release more than one shot after all.

@Milla I agree that the CPS call has a part to play in why Ridge chose to walk away from his marriage but I also would not say that the CPS call was the only reason he did.
We cannot ignore that Ridge himself told Taylor in Aspen that he did not leave Brooke because of something she did. We all think he is lying because we all think that he left Brooke because of the CPS call. When Brooke came to Aspen, she asked him if this has anything to do with Deacon or Bill and Ridge said "all of it" meaning that it was not just one thing, it's a combination of things.
If it turns out that the CPS call was one of those many reasons and not THE reason, then Ridge would have been true to his word to Taylor that the CPS call had nothing to do with him choosing Taylor. Rather, it would have been a combination of things.
This will also play a big part in whether or not he wants Brooke back now that the truth is out because he already told Brooke that it was a number of things that led to his decision (not just one thing). If that is really the case, I do not see him reuniting with Brooke anytime soon. He may apologize but that would be it.

In the playlists you can more or less see from which year. The time for example when Ridge thew Rick off the building was 2009, it was after the time Taylor dumped Rick after being engaged to him (I know 😂 you shouldn't be engaged to someone who was born when you were already divorced once). Then Rick proceeded onto Steffy who was more than happy to get engaged too. Then Thomas had enough and shot him. Then years later there was some kerfuffle around Hope, Caroline and who should run FC. And Thomas just threw Rick out of the window 😂🙈

Seriously though, Thomas has come a long way from who he was and his change was shown quite aptly in may ways. For example, when Justin locked him in the cage and he was able to tell Hope the truth of what Vinny did so that she could get Liam out and be reunited with him. He could have taken full advantage of that situation but he didn't.
Liam also asked Thomas to take care of Hope and the kids when he thought he was going to prison but, all of a sudden, Liam no longer trusts Thomas. The writing is all over the place. There is no follow-through on previous storylines, rather they change things and characters just to push a specific plot. It's sloppy and annoying as heck!
@Milla (2:32 pm) Nothing Ridge did in the past (illegal or not) has to do with Forrester Creations hiring Justin to take on a legal position within the company when they know that he is, for all intents and purposes, a criminal. Ridge can get away with such things because he owns the joint, but think of Justin going to court to represent FC in a legal matter. They would rip him to shreds because of his background.

Sadly it can't just be blamed on Bell Jr or whomever is writing. When you have such a small limited cast, you have to sacrifice people here and there or there is no excitement going on.

Yes, Milla! It was such a great episode on so many levels!! I just hated seeing Thomas getting away with it for what seemed like forever. And all the while taking credit for being this wonderful dad to Douglas, and a great son to Ridge. Not to mention him sticking the knife deeper into Brooke’s character every chance he got!! It was dreadful watching it week after week. And yes, saying what he said to Brooke was really good too. But he has soooooo much more groveling to do before Brooke should even consider forgiving him! And even then, she shouldn’t take him back. Honestly, I just don’t think she is going to jump into his arms even if he is ready to commit to her again. He genuinely hurt her by what he did. I don’t think she is gonna look the other way quite so easily this time.
Just like his momma lol 😂 She is a killer and attempted murderer, on top of all her other flaws, but Thomas and Steffy act like she's so honest and trustworthy! What a joke. None of them are saints, that's for damn sure.
Fast forward 30 years later and these 2 will still be fighting over Ridge in their 80s/90s...wash, rinse, repeat with the storyline on most soaps. Remember when Liam saw Hope and Thomas "kissing?" And the beeline he made for Steffy? He did not even bust open the door to demand what was going on? It's almost as if he was looking for an excuse to run to another woman (Steffy, in this case).
I believe it's the same for Ridge. He is in love with both women and realized that Taylor was not giving in to him as long as he was married. As such, the CPS call was the excuse he used to turn his back on Brooke and run to Taylor.
So Ridge Gonna Marry Skeletor? Taylor, Lon Chaney's dead- no more bride of frankenstein movies to remake. On the other hand maybe Brooke can remake the Singing Nun or Song of Bernadette. I think JMW just put on weight in general after her last child. She was never a skinny person and I have noticed that it's not only her butt, but her legs, her tummy and her arms. I thought it could heal her kids, but after thinking it through I came to a conclusion that as much as it could potentially help Steffy it won't help Thomas. DeleteIn all fairness, Ridge had not reunited with Brooke since the NYE debacle. He had been spending a lot of time with Taylor and was shown to be thinking about whether he should stay with Brooke or reunite with Taylor. Even after finding out about the CPS call (supposedly made by Brooke), he was still shown to be thinking about whether he should stay with Brooke or reunite with Taylor. The CPS call is significant, for sure, but it was not the only reason that Ridge chose Taylor. However, it might have been the final determining factor. A trigger can release more than one shot after all.

DeleteWe cannot ignore that Ridge himself told Taylor in Aspen that he did not leave Brooke because of something she did. We all think he is lying because we all think that he left Brooke because of the CPS call. When Brooke came to Aspen, she asked him if this has anything to do with Deacon or Bill and Ridge said "all of it" meaning that it was not just one thing, it's a combination of things.
If it turns out that the CPS call was one of those many reasons and not THE reason, then Ridge would have been true to his word to Taylor that the CPS call had nothing to do with him choosing Taylor. Rather, it would have been a combination of things.
This will also play a big part in whether or not he wants Brooke back now that the truth is out because he already told Brooke that it was a number of things that led to his decision (not just one thing). If that is really the case, I do not see him reuniting with Brooke anytime soon. He may apologize but that would be it.
@Elle did you hear what they are saying and exactly what I am calling out? Who is saying it was the *only* reason? There is a whole world between "*nothing* to do" and "*only* reason". Unlike your favorite gals I understand it.

In the playlists you can more or less see from which year. The time for example when Ridge thew Rick off the building was 2009, it was after the time Taylor dumped Rick after being engaged to him (I know 😂 you shouldn't be engaged to someone who was born when you were already divorced once). Then Rick proceeded onto Steffy who was more than happy to get engaged too. Then Thomas had enough and shot him. Then years later there was some kerfuffle around Hope, Caroline and who should run FC. And Thomas just threw Rick out of the window 😂🙈
PS In all fairness, the first time Rick was choking Ridge at that battle so throwing him was kinda inevitable 🙈

DeleteSeriously though, Thomas has come a long way from who he was and his change was shown quite aptly in may ways. For example, when Justin locked him in the cage and he was able to tell Hope the truth of what Vinny did so that she could get Liam out and be reunited with him. He could have taken full advantage of that situation but he didn't.
Liam also asked Thomas to take care of Hope and the kids when he thought he was going to prison but, all of a sudden, Liam no longer trusts Thomas. The writing is all over the place. There is no follow-through on previous storylines, rather they change things and characters just to push a specific plot. It's sloppy and annoying as heck!
@Milla (2:32 pm) Nothing Ridge did in the past (illegal or not) has to do with Forrester Creations hiring Justin to take on a legal position within the company when they know that he is, for all intents and purposes, a criminal. Ridge can get away with such things because he owns the joint, but think of Justin going to court to represent FC in a legal matter. They would rip him to shreds because of his background.

@Elle, I agree about characters being changed to support specific plot, but that's actually pretty typical for any show, not just this one. Sadly it can't just be blamed on Bell Jr or whomever is writing. When you have such a small limited cast, you have to sacrifice people here and there or there is no excitement going on.

DeleteI just hated seeing Thomas getting away with it for what seemed like forever. And all the while taking credit for being this wonderful dad to Douglas, and a great son to Ridge. Not to mention him sticking the knife deeper into Brooke’s character every chance he got!! It was dreadful watching it week after week. And yes, saying what he said to Brooke was really good too. But he has soooooo much more groveling to do before Brooke should even consider forgiving him! And even then, she shouldn’t take him back. Honestly, I just don’t think she is going to jump into his arms even if he is ready to commit to her again. He genuinely hurt her by what he did. I don’t think she is gonna look the other way quite so easily this time.
