Could anyone else hear Bill's comment to Paul after he ordered a double double? It was something something change, that was the only word I could make out, and Deacon never provoke a drunk when he's got that disturbing glare in his eyes. I was waiting for a punch. Poor Bill. He can't handle the punch to his ego.
Elle it was before that. Paul asked him if he wanted the usual and he said no a double double. Then he muttered something and the last word was change. It was before he said he had nothing to go home too.

Yay Brooke!!! I'm super surprised that she finally chose herself over ridge, but I am so glad she did! There was sort of a switching of roles today with Thomas and Steffy. I agreed with Thomas when he said that this situation will show them whether Ridge had been lying to Taylor all along. But then Steffy started talking about how much Ridge loves Taylor. Before, Thomas was the one saying that the CPS call didn't matter because it had nothing to do with his dad marrying his mom and Steffy was the one saying that their parents' marriage shouldn't start off with a lie. I found that interesting. What would be more interesting is if Thomas confronted Ridge about hurting his mom over and over and puts the blame squarely on Ridge.

Exactly! I said the same thing recently. Brooke and Ridge have gone through divorce hundreds of times and most times (if not all), Ridge was the one that had divorce papers drawn up. At some point it has to stop being about Brooke being madly in love or about destiny and see the relationship for what it really is - a toxic co-dependency. And it goes both ways. I'm glad Brooke finally saw it for what it is. She said that every time he ran off, she would always do what she had to to get him back. So very proud of her today. Hoping she keeps it up.
So true, I've been waiting for what would Brooke do after she found out everything and I'm just so proud of what she just did. If I'm gonna be honest I don't want her to take Ridge back when he already think everything through. Elle, Lynn, Milla, I agree ladies!! Brooke showed a very different side to herself today.. I like this side of her!! I hope she kicks Ridge to the curb, because he doesn’t deserve her.. I hope Taylor will come to her senses.. Ridge deserve neither of these two women.. I admit that I liked how Brooke handled herself today!! She had great pride and respect for herself.. I hope she stands her ground with Ridge, and I hope Taylor does the same!!

Finally, I'm so proud of you Brooke, you already learned to respect yourself and when one has her own self-respect everything good follows you would know what you deserve and you would never let other people treat you just the way they want. Keep it up and you would get the happiness that you truly deserve and I don't think it still Ridge. He proved many times that it is okay for him to just throw away everything that you have, you don't need someone that would turn his back on you over and over again.
ReplyDeleteExactly! I said the same thing recently. Brooke and Ridge have gone through divorce hundreds of times and most times (if not all), Ridge was the one that had divorce papers drawn up. At some point it has to stop being about Brooke being madly in love or about destiny and see the relationship for what it really is - a toxic co-dependency. And it goes both ways. I'm glad Brooke finally saw it for what it is. She said that every time he ran off, she would always do what she had to to get him back. So very proud of her today. Hoping she keeps it up.

If I'm gonna be honest I don't want her to take Ridge back when he already think everything through. He's not deserving of her anymore, yeah they both made mistakes but the way I see it Brooke already learned her lesson but Ridge isn't.

DeleteI hate the fact that it's already a routine for Ridge, someone would say something bad about Brooke and then he will get angry and believe them. Then he would leave Brooke and when he find out that it is not true he would go back to Brooke asking for forgiveness then it will happen again. It's freaking tiring watching Ridge going back and forth with Brooke and other women it needs to stop. I don't think Ridge would stop running to other women when Brooke and him have problems he deserve what he got right now, with someone as amazing and smart as him. He's so freaking foolish and stupid who doesn't know how to find the truth before believing in it and deciding what to do.

Sometimes I wonder if Ridge forgets his cues and lines, hence the reason he always appears so dotish. He cannot even give a proper explanation. Taylor to Thomas: "It was not your place Thomas"... LOL Seriously? After she literally wanted to use his lie to her advantage and marry Ridge knowing about the CPS call? She has done the same to Stephanie over the years... First she was using Stephanie's schemes to her advantage and when it didn't work she yelled at her. She can pretend all she wants, but she has absolutely no problems with scheming when it benefits her. Even after she yelled at Stephanie for the fake heart attack she conspired with her in 2011 to break Brooke and Ridge up... She really said that she doesn't want a marriage based on lies after she just tried to marry Ridge based on lies? her words are absolutely meaningless. She can't be serious when she says that she really believed that Ridge doesn't marry her because of anything that Brooke has done. She knows that he lies... She heard that Ridge left Brooke after hearing her voice on the CPS recording... It was clear even for a fool that Ridge is settling for her because he is angry with Brooke. To be fair both Taylor and Ridge lied to each other. Taylor asked really valid questions at the end of the episode, but she should have a private conversation about it with Ridge before trying to marry him... Then maybe she would have a chance to guilt trip him into a marriage because he made fake promises to her.

Totally Lynn! There's no noble excuse for what Thomas did. He's not only crazy, he's a petulant child of a man that has to get his way or shit on everything and everyone. And Tay Tay is a hot mess. ReplyDeleteI`m so very proud of Brooke, she has clearly thought this through and come to the conclusion that she is worth so much more than this bs. I read recently that someone else comes into her life and it sounds like she may have had enough of Ridge and is finally ready to move on from him.
I certainly hope so. Let him settle on a life with his second choice, because it sounds as if she wants him at ANY PRICE. So very very sad and desperate Taylor!
Yes it was hard for Brooke but she was the better lady today and Taylor's will always be second best .Taylor is begging and brook is letting go she needs peace .
