Liam chose not to be there and support Hope on her big night, so he should not be upset or surprised that she went to Eric's house to celebrate. He could have asked her what time she will be home. What they did to Batie is a travesty, they used to be my favorite couple but after he became another number on Broke's bed post it was all ruined - I just pretend nothing after 2011 happened. At least Katie has the wisdom now to not want to go another merry go round in "Bill" and Broke's sick game, I can find some satisfaction is that she tells him she doesn't want him not the other way around. I say "Bill" cause that's not the real Bill, the real Bill had character growth and a personality. But alas, anyone who's with Broke needs to regress or be stagnated because Broke is the most redundant person who never grows up or gets held accountable.
As for Hope, I see her needing a person who can make her come out of her shell and that's not Lame. But this show or "Lopers" want to paint her as this naive idiot character, which to me is more offensive than someone who is emotionally cheating and has a mind and needs of their own. I've said it from the start - it makes no sense for someone who is "so disgusted" by a person's past actions to chain themselves forever to this said person by making their child legally their own if there isn't a want or a need to have this person be a part of your life. Hope can come up with any excuse she wants but she LIKES having Thomas around because she finds ANY solution to keep having him around. She never puts up CLEAR boundaries in TIME, she doesn't ENCOURAGE Thomas to move on or find someone else, she acts all ELATED whenever he goes in on his "ILY" rants... there are only two options, she's a worse person than what she pretends because she uses Thomas' love for her to advance her career, her relationship with Douglas, to get revenge on Lame etc... or she likes it but won't admit it. Just like early Batie, Hope would need a "bad boy" to grow a spine and take control of her life. I would think a soap would want that - drama, conflict and more nuance to their flat characters. But B & B is a sad excuse for a soap.

As Bbfan and Elle said not long ago, that Liam is struggling now, because in the past, he has always treated Hope as a child with no mind of her own, but because Thomas builds Hopes confidence instead of making it worse, she is now able to stand up for herself and make her own decisions, and Brooke and Liam can’t cope with that.. They are used to controlling her..

I just can`t remember the last time Ridge made her smile, let alone laugh. Let him go Brooke, let Taylor have him and when he comes back crawling on his hands and knees when he finds out the truth, tell him you will have the rest of his belongings sent to Taylors place. Bill is a man worthy of you, handsome, funny, wealthy and loves you so very much. He made it plain to Katie that if Brooke were available he wants to be with her and she will never have to second guess his feelings for her like she does with the waffler. Let poor old second best have him and move on with your life. The dialogue overall is just insulting to our intelligence (and I'm not even a native English speaker, can't imagine what it is for you). Nobody in their right mind is repeating the same crap over and over again. Why aren't the actors standing up, I'm sure if they wrote their own lines they would come up with less embarrassing dialogue. And honestly Hope is sweet and pretty (and much more likable than Steffy, sorry), but seriously they are treating her like a goddess, I don't know what's so extraordinary about her that Thomas can't just calm down. Her "message" - ok sustainable materials but geez everybody is doing that, she's not a visionary. Brooke was more of a visionary back then when she created the "Belief" formula, which was for wrinkle-free fabric, at least that was for that time something impressive.

Although the worry now is, faced with complete rejection, that either he will step it up or turn mean. We can only hope that will totally mess with his plan to win her back through keeping Douglas at his granddads property. That God that Steffy is suspicious of Thomas, she may be able to let him know she is onto him, not that it will calm him down. Go do your thing Bill and prove to them all what really happened to poor Brooke, she just deserves so much better. What happened to Taylor. I would have bet my last dollar that she'd be at the fashion show to support her family? It would have been a highlight of the night for Steffi and Thomas to have her there. Why pass up such an opportunity to rub it into Brooke and Hope. Don't like the Forresters but I wish the writers would let Thomas have a fair run for a while and not a villain all the time. We could have had a fashion show without dredging up the old "Thomas is falling back into his obsession with Hope" again.
Taylor was keynote speaker for some conference and she was on the phone cheering Thomas in. Ridge could wait to grab it back to chat with her. I think they didn’t want a Taylor - Brooke confrontation at the show, so they gave Taylor a valid reason to not be there.
I agree I’m sick of them always making Thomas go down this road. Why bother to have his character work so hard for redemption only to put him back again. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

D, I think that’s his plan.. I think he got worried when Sheila inadvertently threatened Brooke when she found out he went to see her.. I think he has a plan to get her out, cause she can’t come out there without big risk.. if she remembers how much she misses having freedom she might leave, which I think is his plan!!?? DeleteYes, $$$Bill (AKA Stallion) is definitely trying to win Brooke’s heart again. Brooke is still holding firm on Ridge though, even though she has every right to pursue something with someone else if she wants to. Her heart is still broken. Good for her for giving herself time to get her bearings. Ridge (Mr Needy) certainly did not do the same. I hope Brooke gets over Ridge and then when the truth about the call comes out, she will tell him she DOES NOT want him back. Nothing is gonna disappoint me more than her going back to the waffler. Just don’t know how she’d ever be able to get past that!!!

He could have asked her what time she will be home. That's a reasonable question a husband would ask his wife. And I can't believe Deacon is being all romantic with Sheila. Yuck! Wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago when he was calling her crazy and delusional? Brooke, there are more men out there other than Ridge and Bill. And take some time to just be single.

DeleteLiam is bringing all this stress on himself. He did not have a problem with Thomas before and for the past 2 years, they have all been parenting Douglas so I'm confused as to why he is making such a big deal about Hope and Thomas working so closely together.
Broke made Bill a total tool and cheesy cringeball, ugh... I wanted to puke with the 'stallion' line. That is an IMPOSTER and not the same person who came to town and fell for Katie and tried taking over Forrester. Biggest character regression on B&B. Sheila and Deacon are also barf. I don't like them writing Thomas taking advantage of the situation again and painting it as if he's the culprit, when Hope has been playing with his mind for weeks- she's obviously emotionally cheating just doesn't want to take the physical step because she relentlessly wants to appear 'innocent'. She doesn't even look weirded out just conflicted. Can they just give Thomas another woman cause sure as hell Hope isn't worth all this chasing.. If she wants to be with a spineless Loser Lame and run in her hamster wheel let her.

I love that Hope has been supportive of his relationship with his son and the work he has done for her line.. But I think she is falling for Thomas on a subconscious level, but she shouldn’t be surprised that he tried to kiss her.. She knows how he feels about her.. and yes, she definitely looked conflicted.. I would love to see Thomas with a woman who truly loves him and him only.. I love the chemistry between Thomas and Hope, and I would love for the writers to give them a go, because loves her so much, but it’s not looking that way, because when she finds out about the cps, anything they might have happen will go down the toilet..Regression is the perfect word for Bills character.. He did fall hard for Katie, and it made him really likeable.. Because every man normally went straight for Brooke, but not Bill in early days!! But he always wanted his Katie!! What they did to Batie is a travesty, they used to be my favorite couple but after he became another number on Broke's bed post it was all ruined - I just pretend nothing after 2011 happened. At least Katie has the wisdom now to not want to go another merry go round in "Bill" and Broke's sick game, I can find some satisfaction is that she tells him she doesn't want him not the other way around. I say "Bill" cause that's not the real Bill, the real Bill had character growth and a personality. DeleteAs for Hope, I see her needing a person who can make her come out of her shell and that's not Lame. But this show or "Lopers" want to paint her as this naive idiot character, which to me is more offensive than someone who is emotionally cheating and has a mind and needs of their own. I've said it from the start - it makes no sense for someone who is "so disgusted" by a person's past actions to chain themselves forever to this said person by making their child legally their own if there isn't a want or a need to have this person be a part of your life. Hope can come up with any excuse she wants but she LIKES having Thomas around because she finds ANY solution to keep having him around. She never puts up CLEAR boundaries in TIME, she doesn't ENCOURAGE Thomas to move on or find someone else, she acts all ELATED whenever he goes in on his "ILY" rants... there are only two options, she's a worse person than what she pretends because she uses Thomas' love for her to advance her career, her relationship with Douglas, to get revenge on Lame etc... or she likes it but won't admit it. Just like early Batie, Hope would need a "bad boy" to grow a spine and take control of her life. I would think a soap would want that - drama, conflict and more nuance to their flat characters. But B & B is a sad excuse for a soap.

Yes, I think women with self confidence issues like Hope and Katie, need a bad boy to bring them out of their shells.. Bill and Liam are very controlling, and I think they add to their self confidence issues.. As Bbfan and Elle said not long ago, that Liam is struggling now, because in the past, he has always treated Hope as a child with no mind of her own, but because Thomas builds Hopes confidence instead of making it worse, she is now able to stand up for herself and make her own decisions, and Brooke and Liam can’t cope with that.. They are used to controlling her..

DeleteThe dialogue overall is just insulting to our intelligence (and I'm not even a native English speaker, can't imagine what it is for you). Nobody in their right mind is repeating the same crap over and over again. Why aren't the actors standing up, I'm sure if they wrote their own lines they would come up with less embarrassing dialogue. And honestly Hope is sweet and pretty (and much more likable than Steffy, sorry), but seriously they are treating her like a goddess, I don't know what's so extraordinary about her that Thomas can't just calm down. Her "message" - ok sustainable materials but geez everybody is doing that, she's not a visionary. Brooke was more of a visionary back then when she created the "Belief" formula, which was for wrinkle-free fabric, at least that was for that time something impressive.

DeleteWhat happened to Taylor. I would have bet my last dollar that she'd be at the fashion show to support her family? It would have been a highlight of the night for Steffi and Thomas to have her there. Why pass up such an opportunity to rub it into Brooke and Hope. Don't like the Forresters but I wish the writers would let Thomas have a fair run for a while and not a villain all the time. We could have had a fashion show without dredging up the old "Thomas is falling back into his obsession with Hope" again.
ReplyDeleteTaylor was keynote speaker for some conference and she was on the phone cheering Thomas in. Ridge could wait to grab it back to chat with her. I think they didn’t want a Taylor - Brooke confrontation at the show, so they gave Taylor a valid reason to not be there.
