DeleteAs for Ridge and Brooke, all I could do was laugh. First, seeing him running through the bushes seemed really familiar, then I remembered him running after Taylor in the mountains of Aspen (how original). 😂😂
Then, when he finally got to Brooke and started talking to her, all I could remember was Lynn and Milla talking about Ridge's incoherence. It took him 15 minutes to spit out that Logan was his future. 😂😂

I mean we saw Hope looking at Thomas in winder then going in for another kiss then they skipped off hand in hand.

I think for Liam to see Hope kiss Thomas, then gaze at him, pull him back in, cradling his face kissing him more… he’s right, she chose Thomas! Clearly she’s not regretting anything. She’s excited and happy… no horror at what she’s done.

Well, it seems Hope really enjoyed kissing Thomas she even went for seconds, and she had no guilt in holding Thomas's hand. As for Liam, his old habits certainly died hard, without thinking he leaned over and gave Steffy a kiss. I guess he thinks that no matter what happens he can run to Steffy and kiss when needed, but she showed him I don't think so Liam, I am a happily married woman. Now, when Taylor hears about this she will hit the floor.
DeleteHope I don't say this often but right now I hate you a little. People want to give you the benefit of the doubt that you aren't a cheater but there you are. I shouldn't have been eating while watching because I'm nauseated. Not the kiss, we saw that yesterday, but the blatant lack of any self-awareness and conscience after, just walking away hand in hand and so continuing to *cheat*. You don't want to be like Brooke? Well congratulations, honey, you're not. You're a thousand times worse. This is the first episode where I like Steffy better because right now she's being the better human being. She stepped away from Liam.

BBFan Hope was the only one on this show (main characters) who hadn't cheated on her man (I don't much care about when she slept with him while he was with Steffy; not the point of my feelings). I just finished writing the same to Elle in previous episode. Now she's a cheater and happy about it which makes it 100x times worse. She should end her marriage and be with Thomas. Hopefully she'll be faithful to him.

He’s in a daze and I love how we are blaming Thomas. He needs to stop it now, I honestly think he can’t believe it’s actually happening and will take any crumbs Hope gives him, which is sad. He’s been in love with her for years. He could never have believed she’d be the way she is with him now. Passionate, loving, playful… I think he’s in shock.

DeleteHe isn’t the chasing Hope obsessed! That was a mental health issue. Being in love isn’t. He hasn’t had any real luck in love. I think it would be very difficult to deal with the ramifications of doing all the work to overcome his obsession. Then Hope gloms on like he’s the love of her life and he suddenly has her and it’s going to have a big effect on him, no matter how it turns out.
DeleteBBFan Thomas has maintained that even if she throws herself at him, his mental stability and progress is too important to him to do anything about it. I find it very odd that now that's absolutely no consideration for him. I was convinced that he truly means it and definitely enough to take a pause before doing any of what he's doing today. Still not blaming him, rather can't believe the whole thing. It's probably the notoriously bad writing which leaves plot holes all over the place again...

DeleteHope really did a number on our faith in her. To me really the worst is the lack of conscience... It's really awful when someone falls so low and a part of me still is looking for some explanation. Next week she'll be begging Liam for forgiveness as per the previews. Right now I don't even know who deserves forgiveness and if Liam is the one to give it considering his actions. I knew he'd do something like that and yet disappointed in him.
Btw one thing I love about this - again we are not above admitting when those guys do crap. We call them out for real and no excuses.

I don't think Thomas cannot be trusted and I certainly do not think his progress has gone down the tubes. It was one kiss. I don't think he will suddenly revert to the person he was before.

Elle it wasn't one kiss it was what we saw a whole afternoon of him and Hope. Whether he'll become obsessed with Hope or not nobody can tell and that's the problem. He is a recovering alcoholic who took a sip now. Also he said he'd never go down that road again - for himself and for the sake of doing better by others. I still believe that the cheater (Hope) is to blame in such situations regarding the pain they cause. But regarding the word he gave and the work he's done on himself, Thomas is not doing the right thing now. He'll be remembering those kisses and this gross datey thing for who knows how long. This won't come without consequences for him.

DeleteI don't think we've seen enough to make such a judgement as I fully believe that Thomas and Hope are living in the moment being in the beautiful Rome. I haven't read any spoilers so I'm going to wait and see how Thomas and Hope are going to move forward with this.
I am still hoping that Thomas is just being sensitive toward Hope by not outright rejecting her but instead, allowing her to put her troubles to the side so that she can relax and have fun and maybe, when they return to LA, he will let her down easy.
Hope, I have no explanation except to say that she has probably decided to live out her Thomas fantasy without Liam in her ear every dang day. Not that it's right but it's the only thing that makes sense for now.

@Mmysh You would think that Thomas' change was sudden because you never saw the gradual changes in him.
After his surgery, a lot of Thomas' past behaviors were gone. He mellowed somewhat, even though he was still obsessed with Hope. That dangerous side of him that did not understand right from wrong was gone. We saw that whenever he would fantasize about Hope then remind himself that he couldn't do that anymore. We also saw it when he tried to kiss Hope and then backed off when she told him it couldn't happen. Pre-surgery Thomas would not have done those things. Pre-surgery Thomas let his fantasies get the better of him and made him want to kidnap Hope and keep her for himself.
After the CPS call, Thomas started seeing a new therapist and this time, we saw absolutely no fantasizing about Hope. None. We also saw no incidences of Thomas trying to make a move on Hope. Instead, it was Hope doing the fantasizing and coming on to Thomas.
His change was not sudden. It has been ongoing for the past 2+ years. Thomas has been working very hard to become better so no, I don't believe he will throw all of his hard work away and suddenly revert to old Thomas. He has loved Hope for most of his adult life so maybe he is just enjoying being with her as he knows that, once they return to LA, it will be all over.

It was a hematoma caused but hitting his head and it was something temporary for a very short period of time

And logically and medically people with mental issues or addiction they need years to be better or healed but to relapse they need only a one pill

DeleteI did not say that it did. I was talking about the changes Thomas started making after his surgery.
And a person receiving treatment for mental issues cannot relapse suddenly after one incident. If they are going to therapy, as Thomas has been doing, the therapist will notice signs of old behaviour if there are any. As such, if medication is being used, the dosage will be increased, if no medication, then consideration about introducing medicine can be used or any other form of alternative treatment, such as hypnosis to get to the root of the behaviour or cognitive therapy which attempts to manipulate a person's behaviour by changing their thought patterns. But no, they won't just suddenly relapse because of one incident.
DeleteAnd just to be clear, if Thomas brings up what happened with Hope to his therapist, his therapist will advise that he stay away from Hope since she is showing him affection so as to prevent Thomas from going down that rabbit hole again. It wouldn't be sudden but it can definitely start a downward spiral.

Yes, Thomas needs to put some distance between himself and Hope for the sake of his mental health. Just think, if Hope and Liam decided to stay together, Thomas could lapse into depression, and we all know where that can lead.

And regarding Hope yes what you say makes most sense, that's probably what she's doing... Still doesn't excuse her (especially after all the judgment on her mom, one thing I can't stand is judgment from someone who also is no angel), but it explains it. A part of me is really looking forward to her face off with Liam. It's long overdue that she finally admits what she's feeling and make a decision - either work through it or separate.
Mmysh omg I had the best day on Madeira (west side) and you're totally right. It does bring the best of humanity. It's so green, so well kept, you have devastating landscapes and mountains and ocean. Also Milla, like you said….it’s not even the kiss that I am the most upset about. It’s the entire way Hope handled things with Thomas. Where’s the guilt? If it was some heat-of- the-moment-‘oops’, you don’t continue on with your day like the happy new couple!! Hope has always been the most ethical / good person on the show!! She should be with Thomas and we’ll see who will end up screwing whom over. She loves Liam but right now it seems it’s not in the right way. Loving someone means above all respecting them. DeleteThis is why I cannot stand Liam! He supposedly loves his wife so much and is committed to her but instead of confronting her there and then, he runs off and kisses Steffy. I do wish Steffy had slapped him. Why didn't she? Doesn't she realize by now that Liam only runs to her when he falls out with Hope? I'm disappointed with Steffy as well.
And Thomas. What happened to "even if she comes on to me, I will shut her down? " BBFan, I can't give Thomas a pass here. For months, Hope has been laying it on thick and we have seen him catch a clue that Hope might be into him. We have also seen him say, more than once, that he will not do anything to interfere with Hope's marriage. One kiss, and all of that went out the window? Instead of happily going about Rome with Hope, he should be calling her out on it.
The only thing I will give him some leeway for is if he is going along with it for her benefit, and not his own. Thomas knows that Hope has been very stressed lately and has been having a hard time with Liam. He has also been shown to care about her wellbeing so, maybe he is choosing to let her have this moment where she has temporarily put all her problems behind her and is just living in the moment.

After the initial shock wore off, her hands went up between them and she put some distance between them. Steffy most certainly did not kiss Liam back. Compare that to Thomas, who fully embraced Hope and returned her kisses. Nothing like that happened with Steffy so let's not go casting blame on her for this. This is one time that she is not at fault here. She did nothing except try to be there for Liam and he, selfish person that he is, took advantage of the situation.

Thomas did not murder anyone. He did not run into Emma's vehicle and push her off the road. He didn't even lay a finger on her. The only thing Thomas is guilty of is not calling 911. You should try learning about the law or about what constitutes murder before making such baseless accusations. I'm sick and tired of hearing it. And no, not because it's Thomas but because you are seriously ignorant to what the law defines murder as. Liam committed actual vehicular manslaughter and was an accessory to covering up a crime. He also did not call 911 to report what happened, which is worse than what Thomas did but due to the fact that Vinny planned to kill himself by walking out in front of the vehicle Liam was driving, it does not make Liam culpable. However, he ACTUALLY killed Vinny and he ACTUALLY covered up a crime. So please, let's not act like Liam is soooooo much better than Thomas.

If the actor might have said that his actions are what killed Emma, again, that is not murder because a person can kill someone without murdering them, such as in self-defense or manslaughter.
Thomas did not murder Emma, and if the matter was brought before a judge in a hearing, the prosecution will have to provide evidence of foul play if a murder charge has to stick. Also, the defense will raise the fact that Emma was using her phone while driving at increased speeds and so, she ran off the road and died. They would say that she was responsible for her own death, not Thomas.

DeleteRick was actively trying to prevent that accident, to keep control of the wheel, yelling at her to stop, but the crazy kept jumping on him and pulling the wheel. That's definitely not on the same level as chasing someone to the point where they drive off and die.
DeleteEmma was texting which was wrong but she wouldn't be doing it if someone wasn't chasing her. If she had the opportunity to calmly drive to Hope's, she wouldn't have been texting. Phoebe had all the power to prevent their crash by simply being a normal mature passenger.

Actually, Milla, Emma was texting and driving long before Thomas came on the scene. She was trying to reach Hope. The phone was on the passenger seat, at one point, and she looked away from the road to reach for it. Then, as she took her gaze away from the phone and back to the road, that's when she saw Thomas' headlights in her rear view mirror. I think it might have been so bright that it blinded her causing her to run off the road. That's what I remember about the incident.

All it means is that Thomas' role was simply a part of the chain of events which led to Emma losing her life. And there were several events which occurred that led to her death. Pinpointing one and saying that it was murder is not at all factual.

DeleteThe circumstances surrounding the death of Emma fall squarely on Thomas. You don’t chase someone on a narrow / windy mountain road in the pitch black and expect it to turn out well!! Thomas chased her with intent!! He is definitely at fault for what happened indirectly. That’s why I’m not calling it murder, but saying manslaughter. And in the real world he would be sent to prison for some period of time. You don’t just walk away scot free when something like that happens!! Just admit to Thomas’ horrible behavior!!!! It will be cathartic for you!! Lol

I fall in the camp of needing more evidence - like a conversation between Hope & Thomas regarding the "kisses" - to be convinced that they happened.
